  2. Yep! And the 2010 Natty vs. Auburn, and there are others such as the disaster at Arizona in 2013 and... Who can forget the home loss to WSU?
  3. Really a fun article Mike, thank you very much. I was at the USC game in 2012 at Memorial Stadium. The only problem with being there is that I think it unlikely that I will ever see a more exciting game and such a powerful performance as Kenjon Barner again in my lifetime.
  4. Mike, thank you so much for a perfect take delivered on a perfect day. GO DUCKS!
  5. Got me! (I gotta admit....that was funny)
  6. As the 4-seed, I believe TT is the 'home team' for uniform, locker room, etc. purposes, and accordingly wears the darker colored uniforms. If the PO plays out as seeded, OBD (knock wood) will be the 'away team' for the Orange, Peach, and Champ games. WRECK TECH!
  7. Looks great! I always feel so young when we do a uni reveal here 😆
  8. Through 12/20, JMU is No. 6 in rushing the ball. 19th in total offense. JMU looked to be the better team compared to Tulane. This was the second time this season that Ole Miss played and blew out the Green Wave. Did UCLA, with the hire of JMU's Bob Chesney, hire a better coach than Florida did with the hire of Tulane's Jon Sumrall? JMU showed up in Autzen with a purpose and never quit, even when down 34-6 at the half. OBD was never in danger of losing the game, but JMU looked like the best team in the G5. Travel-wise, Chesney had a greater burden to juggle than Sumrall, by far, and Chesney kept Nico, while for some reason, or no reason, Sumrall did nothing to keep QB Lagway in Gainesville. Sumrall starts with a Blue Chip roster advantage, but of these two, whose careers will be compared to one another, I wouldn't sell Chesny short. And Chesney begins with a much longer leash than Sumrall.
  9. At least this isn’t the national championship game. Gray pants and white jerseys really haven’t worked out in those games.
  10. Today
  11. It always seems that he tries to get a little too cute with the pass plays late in the game. Bo was the only QB that could pull them off consistently, probably because of extreme veteran status.
  12. Merry Christmas!!! I hope all of you are enjoying this day however you want to. Be it around a large family, or be it with whomever you choose. Be it, a furry family member, or even just solitary. Know that no matter what, you have love on this day. Today we celebrate the greatest gift given to us all. Now with that said, I hope Santa gifted you with some great Duck mementos. Perhaps the first ever National Title, as a late delivery.
  13. Mike's concluding story about his father is so fitting for today when we spend time with family. Fun read, and THANKS to Mike for taking the extraordinary time to interview these writers and put it all together. He still has his skills from his Sports Journalism days!
  14. Meh. Grey pants next to a white jersey looks similar, but will look off. (IMHO) Can't wear any green!
  15. Merry Christmas and Go Ducks to all!
  16. SILVER WINGS INDEED! Glad they featured the Big guys wearing the uniforms.
  17. Silver Wings Ducks vs Them? Callback to the game two years ago, on the road, at Texas Tech? Probably will be another defensive play to seal the victory on this one also. Remember how much the talking heads compared TT rise in college football had mirrored in many ways the rise of the Ducks. Sharp Uni's for the quarterfinals. 🦆🏈🪨's
  18. ....and I heard him say as he drove out sight. Merry Christmas to All and to All (OBD'S) an elusive Natty-Night! Enjoy the "joys" of life and appreciate the people in your life. Each and everyone of you have a GREAT Christmas season. Peace.
  19. Not a big fan of the grey but this combo make it look more like a silver…
  20. Oregon Ducks On SIOregon Ducks Uniforms vs. Texas Tech Flex Powerful Recrui...On New Years Day, the No. 5 Oregon Ducks face off against the No. 4 Texas Tech Red Raiders at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida for the Capitol One Orange Bow
  21. Thank you, Mike, for the wonderful Christmas morning gift!
  22. I believe your observation about that aspect of the offense in the Indiana game is spot on. I also had those thoughts. I have watched the game a few times. I do believe Stein went away from the run game more than I would have liked. It wasn't as if he choose poor plays in my opinion when he decided to pass the ball. Moore just didn't execute what he was given. I saw two missed TDs (an additional 8 points there-not to mention momentum lost and more pressure on the defense to hold the line), and some crafty plays to get guys open-on one missed TD, TWO players were open for TDs. Moore simply missed both, and they were easily going to score if either of them caught the ball. I believe Stein sets defenses up much more than we suspect. I believe execution has been the issue with the offense since Stein has been at the controls.
  23. It is great fun to read what some of the best Oregon moments were for some of the best Duck writers and sportscasters such as John Canzano, Jerry Allen, Ken Woody along with a few of my own treasured memories as a Duck. 24. My wish for all you OBD buddies, a day of knowing you have family that loves you and Duck buddies who will support you and have your back. May the Reason for the season make Himself known to you. And may all our hopes and dreams for the New Year come true!
  25. Indeed, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year! My late, rabid Duck Fanatic son had one thing he loved more than OBD... CHRISTMAS! The last pup I had left us few weeks ago, as well. The dog loved the holiday almost as much as my son did. Cherish your loved ones and hold them close, especially at this time of year! GO DUCKS!
