Good Gosh! There are TROLLS Out There...
No sweat (or water off your back) — after all, I live in Port Angeles, but held onto my mid-valley area code when I moved here from Eugene.

Is THIS Why Dante Moore Might be Returning to Oregon?
Geeze, The comments are of the charts! Charles (Forum Royalty), This is what I call throwing the receiver open. The first case may be a little late, but both were open. The second case requires the kind of trust and touch that should be developed in practice because it requires precision. In both instances, it requires guts to throw knowing you may get hit, AND fitting the pass in tight windows(though the first screenshot is a clear case of TDs to either of them). The other skill Dante needs work on is feeling out the pocket better. He needs to recognize when to shuffle into the pocket, or set his his get quickly enough to deliver a pass. Moore walked (ran) into several sacks this year. Even if he leads OBD to a time this year, he needs to come back. He needs more experience against full speed scenarios isn't used to seeing.

Oregon Ducks Receive Rough Transfer News After Jordan Davison Injury
Different time and place, I know, but this brings to mind in ‘21 when the Ducks went into The Shoe hearing that both Kayvon Thibodeaux and Justin Flowe were unable to play. And Duck fans remember well how that game went. Yes that was Cristobal’s team but I have at least as much confidence that Dan Lanning can lead these Ducks to overcome this setback too.

Is THIS Why Dante Moore Might be Returning to Oregon?
Playing scared might be a bit harsh; however, Dante was probably responsible for over half those sacks in the first Indiana game. He has to read the defense, step up into the pocket (if necessary) and pull the trigger.

Oregon Ducks Receive Rough Transfer News After Jordan Davison Injury
Running Duo around 30% of our offensive snaps was our best chance to keep the pass rush off Dante. Not having #0 is worst case scenario for us against that front seven. Unless we see the passing game click better than ever my hopes are at an all time low. I expect a record number of screens to our tight ends and receivers which I'm sure thrills all of us.

Oregon Ducks Receive Rough Transfer News After Jordan Davison Injury
This is terrible news. I hope the coaches also look at utilizing Kenyon Sadiq in the backfield as a blocker and/or short yardage ball carrier. I believe that Teitum Tuioti and Bryce Boettcher also came in for a TD (USC game?). All hands on deck!

Indiana Boasts Secret Weapon in Peach Bowl Rematch vs Oregon
I hope Coach Hampton is emphasizing with the DBs to start knocking those extended arms down every time.

Is THIS Why Dante Moore Might be Returning to Oregon?
Solar, your “playing scared” supposition is a bit harsh. A QB has, as a primary obligation, to avoid getting sacked or getting hit while in the act of passing which often results in a turnover. At the time of the IU game Dante had been sacked only once in the previous four, maybe five games. IU sacked him six times and hit him late at least that many more. He definitely lost some faith in the pass protection, which was warranted and necessary for maintaining possession of the ball.

Oregon Football: Peach Bowl Score Prediction vs Indiana
Since this IS NOT the official prediction thread I think Indiana wins because there are too many distractions going on with Oregon, way too many.

Transfer Portal Interests to Ducks (3)
Oregon adds another special teams commitment from the portal: K Keaton Emmett Oregon native and Nevada Wolf Pack kicker transfer Keaton Emmett commits to the Oregon Ducks, giving the program their second specialist commitment of the week.

Oregon Football: Peach Bowl Score Prediction vs Indiana
IU wins 24 - 21. This is going to be a bit of a defensive battle, with neither offense looking particularly sharp (because both defenses came to play). But the winner of this game will win the natty over Miami. Just saying....

Is THIS Why Dante Moore Might be Returning to Oregon?
Crud, I just have/had a feeling that this could be the year. After seeing this I don't think he has improved that much at all. Ducks better run first and run often.

Oregon Football: Peach Bowl Score Prediction vs Indiana
Exactly what I was thinking..... but people are having fun. I wonder how many of these predictions might change with new news coming out. (e.g. Davidson out)

Oregon Ducks Receive Rough Transfer News After Jordan Davison Injury
I think Hill and Whittington are good backs but neither of them bring the physicality that Davison does, it's a huge loss. We're also one injury away now from essentially having one RB available. Really hope Limar will stay since he might fit into being the fullback in the 2-1 personnel packages

Our Beloved Ducks 14 years Ago...
He previewed it at the BCS Duck tailgate. There was a crowd cheer contest to see which team he would create a ballad for and of course, Duck fans won. Also, before drones, there was a laser show on Camelback Mountain. And proper fandom attire.

Oregon Ducks Receive Rough Transfer News After Jordan Davison Injury
It’s likely not a clean break. He could’ve done it earlier in the game and it just presented as soreness or a bruise. Still, you don’t want to play even with a small fracture. Whittington is actually the team’s leading rusher. He’s just going to have to carry more of the load.

Oregon Ducks Receive Rough Transfer News After Jordan Davison Injury
Always happens to us, something has to happen to ruin chances. Huge loss since Davison was the RB having the most success against Indiana last time. It also cripples our ability to use the 2 RB formations we've using to great affect. It's always us, Indiana deals with one injury the entire year while we have to deal with injury after injury.
