TV Picture Quality for Indiana Game
With some channels offering 4k resolution I'd argue 100 mbps minimum would be a requirement.

I am not real thrilled with our uniform combos; too much black, and bizarre crowd matchups. Let me get this right...the crowd is wearing YELLOW? And we wore black versus Oregon State? Sorry, by Duck-Buddies, but I call it the way I see it. All those making these color decisions in the Cas Center?

I was at that Cal game. I had T-shirts made " I Survived the Monsoon"

This makes me think of a game years back against Cal, where buckets of "Bear Tears" were coming down. Fortunately I was home warm and dry at the time.

Which Guest Picker is Coming to Our City?
Sixth Man, Fast PP would be a good guest picker; but likely being elevated to the starting 5 in Boston this year, the gash on his face and the need to be ready for their upcoming game, I would be surprised if he was the guest picker this time. Kenjon Barner was on the sidelines last week and in the latest Ducks vs Them video. So maybe they tab Kenjon for the spot this time. He's pretty relevant now. Neil Everett has a new sports show and worked for ESPN; so, it would be a way to promote his new show. However, I am going to guess they go with Kenjon Barner. I'm usually wrong on these things. But, that's my guess anyway.

Which Guest Picker is Coming to Our City?
I don't care who we get as a guest picker for GameDay but can "we" please, the love all things Ducky, get every fan in Autzen to wear yellow??! It was awesome to see all of PSU fans, some Ducks, in white! I don't care if you "don't look good in yellow," it would be really nice to see some unity! The only game I remember, ever, where every fan wore the same color was "Fright Night" against USC (black is not a color). That was, still, the loudest game I have ever attended at Autzen. Side note: Beaver Stadium was loud but not even close to Autzen's second loudest game, the *uckeyes!

Does This All But Guarantee Dante Moore Returns to Oregon Next Season?
I'd say Tennessee ranks pretty high! Never has an offensive line and most QBs have failed. OBD Marcus was thrown to the lions with that team even though the team loved him, they couldn't protect him and help him thrive!

It also comes with a full price subscription to 24/7 sports, like Duck Territory.

TV Picture Quality for Indiana Game
Thanks @Santa Rosa Duck for the heads-up quality comparisons. Like @David Marsh did, I picked up a TV antenna a few years ago and it allows us to pick up the network channels from Portland and Eugene. The bonus with watching the games on the antenna is that I/we can watch and already see the play, score, etc., 5-20 seconds before I hear my wife back in the bedroom yelling "touchdown," "interception," etc., on YT TV. We also have LG OLED setups and high-speed internet, as well as Peacock; and recently, I got Paramount+. Unfortunately, I won't be home at game time this weekend, and unable to watch live. Nonetheless, as an FYI, if you don't have Paramount+, it comes as an added benefit, if/when you sign up for a WalMart+ account. I am not an affiliate or providing a link. It's just a heads up that rather than paying extra for that streaming service, you can get it as an added free benefit; which I only discovered after getting WalMart+ a couple weeks ago. 😁

Terrance Ferguson Makes First NFL Reception
I finally got around to reading this post a few minutes ago and I don't know if it is just my browser or not. However, under the photo that links to an article on SI.com, there's an unclickable large black box displayed; which I suspect was originally the YT image for the video. I right-clicked on it and discovered there is a link for that black box. So, in case it appears to be a black box to others, this is the link for the YT video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/rj6hzUl81qY?feature=share

TV Picture Quality for Indiana Game
I've been doing a Pay nothing approach to college football this year... or pay nothing more than I am already paying. I picked up a TV antenna for the games on Fox, NBC and CBS and any other over the airwaves games. It has worked pretty well and the picture quality is pretty good as well as like a decade ago all the over the airwaves stuff moved to a digital HD feed. Otherwise ... I came across on another Duck forum a site that streams all the other channels. Those channels have looked fine on my phone, which sadly has been my primary streaming device as I try not to just have the TV on all the time with the kids around who will get upset that it's not their shows. Granted... I do make them deal with me watching my ONE Duck game a week. If anyone is interested in this legally dubious site you can send me a direct message. I don't know how Charles would feel about it just floating around otherwise. I haven't encountered anything wrong with it but any site that is just streaming all the TV channels without requiring a fee is a bit fishy.

Streaming live content is here to stay. Streaming live content probably needs around 30 to 50 mbps download speed to avoid constant buffering issues. The more devices you have connected, the higher the need to upgrade your signal strength to be able to stream content without problems. Google has an internet speed test readily available. Just search for internet speed test and try it.

Tale of the Tape: No. 3 Oregon vs. No. 7 Indiana -- who has the Edge in Eugene?Saturday afternoon in Eugene gifts us No. 3 Oregon vs. No. 7 Indiana, which is easily one of the most intriguing matchups of the season on CBS -- a physical, high-level conference showdown between two teams eyeing a second straight College Football Playoff appearance (3:30 p.m. ET, CBS and Paramount+). Oregon enters with all the recruiting stars and roster depth you'd expect from a playoff contender, while Indiana and Curt Cignetti arrive with a chip on their shoulder and a Heisman-caliber quarterback in Fernando Mendoza. Both teams are built on physicality and execution, which are traits that travel no matter the venue. Let's hit the tape to stack Indiana and Oregon them side by side, position by position, and find out where the real edge lies. Indiana and Oregon meet in a high-stakes College Football Playoff showdown on CBS. We break down the matchup position by position in our Tale of the Tape, from Fernando Mendoza vs. Dante Moore at quarterback to which team has the edge in the trenches.

NCAA Officially Adopts New Transfer Portal Rules, Including Major Adjustment for Players After Coaching Change
I mean yes... it is more important for most coaches and players. But... the NCAA still needs to give the illusion that these are student athletes. So trying to ensure they can transfer and enroll in a timely fashion is important. Also... as soon as a player enters the portal they surrender their scholarship. So it might put some student athletes stuck in limbo where they aren't enrolled in a school. If college football is broken away from college none of this matters but for the time being it is still connected to education.

Which Guest Picker is Coming to Our City?
"Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham said on her 'Show Me Something' podcast that she plans to be in Eugene for Indiana at Oregon on Saturday — to 'do some College GameDay type stuff,'" it seems unlikely that Cunningham, a Missouri grad with no real ties to Oregon, would be given that role over a famous Oregon alum. Then again, the show did that exact thing last week by having podcaster and comedian Theo Von in Tuscaloosa for the Alabama-Vanderbilt game. Perhaps Cunningham's ties to Indiana will result in her being a Von-like hostile guest working against the home crowd?
