Receiver Status Update from Twitter (X)
Agreed, it feels like we only have 2 wide receivers on the field since Wisconsin.

Oregon Mentioned For Landing Spot For Raiola
George Wrighster indicated that he has heard that Sam Leavitt’s teammates do not like him. Luckily Coach Lanning has a pretty good relationship with ASU’s HC so I’m sure he’ll get honest feedback on whether he would be a good locker room fit…

Oregon Mentioned For Landing Spot For Raiola
Someone mentioned that Raiola transferred to 4 high schools (played at 3) and committed to 3 college teams before enrolling at Nebraska and playing for 2 years. This indicates that he is restless and is always looking for something else. No, thank you.

Five Factors that Built Oregon Into a Recruiting Juggernaut
Is it just me or does it seem like interest in Oregon from top blue chip recruits, from coast to coast, reached a new level once Coach Lanning turned down the Alabama job? Perhaps it piqued their interest and made them want to check out Oregon for themselves, a little bit more …

Five Factors that Built Oregon Into a Recruiting Juggernaut
I would also add the hiring of Chief of Staff/GM Marshall Malchow, who served in a similar capacity at Texas A+M, Georgia and Alabama. Lanning understands that building a championship-caliber team today goes far beyond the football field. “This isn’t the same college football it was ten years ago,” Lanning recently told reporters. “You’ve got to build an organization, not just a team. And that means having the right people in the building.” https://www.lexsportnews.com/2025/07/14/dan-lanning-talks-gm-model-nil-and-building-a-powerhouse-at-oregon/

Five Factors that Built Oregon Into a Recruiting Juggernaut
It sure looks like DL is going to have THE top class this year. One needs to include the Transfer Portal as well, right? Oregon just might have the top class going forward, with this recipe, for a long time.

Is Dante Leaving For The NFL?
I just hope that this isn’t a distraction in the playoffs. Same with both Oregon’s coordinators working 2 jobs.

FWIW, Mel Kiper has Dante Moore as the #1 QB on his draft board. George Wrightster claims that Oregon has made a significant NIL offer for Dante Moore to come back next season.

Five Factors that Built Oregon Into a Recruiting Juggernaut
Oregon has just finished signing the third-ranked recruiting class in the 2026 cycle, according to Rivals. However, based on player average score, Oregon has the best average. The Ducks broke a record number of five-star recruits with five, and have just as many five-star recruits as they do three-stars. Even Mr. FishDuck paused from his investigation into quick money support ... Five Factors That Built Oregon Into a Recruiting Juggernaut

Oregon Mentioned For Landing Spot For Raiola
Raiola isn't a good fit all around for Oregon. If Dante has privately told DL that he's leaving after the season I'd advocate for Sam Leavitt instead.

Oregon Mentioned For Landing Spot For Raiola
Apparently all the talk about Raiola to Oregon right now is fro Raiola and his agent. For him Oregon could be a great landing spot because of the magic Lanning has done with quarterbacks to rehab their careers. But if we are going for a transfer it will either be someone plug and play, closer to a Dillon Gabriel and Bo Nix or a Dante Moore type which is a sit a year and develop. I kinda doubt Raiola wants to sit a year and he is too raw of a talent to be a plug and play. Gabriel was proven and Nix needed a system, athletes, and coaches around him to elevate his potential.

Ford Field is there, and not because Ford sold one Fairlane. Grosse Point isn't gross, and Oakland Hills is not a Mats Only Muni. 😁 Like many of the once Rust Belt cities, Detroit isn't petrified; it's gentrified. But the winters still ☹️.

BIG Stuff Going On!
That is the first men’s championship in any sport Washington has won in over 130 years of competing. And it takes away my favorite declaration of, “they don’t make championship caliber men in Seattle!”

Thank you. If they are taking punt return reps that's a good sign. Should be really ready to go by TTU. Stewart is probably not going to be available this year even if we make the Natty, given that he's been rehabing for so long and is still not doing drills, let alone contact activities. That's a little disappointing, but getting Moore back on the field will be a significant improvement.

It’s funny that Moore didn’t even get an invitation to NY, but the “experts” are casually referring to him as the #1 pick in the next draft.
