Michigan Fires Moore.
Here is what is being said on some Michigan boards. Nobody knows the full story yet but basically he allegedly threatened his life in front his wife then left and went to the staffers house. He then threatened her life and his life and then police arrested him down the road because the wife has his location on her phone and gave it to the police. Sounds like he completely snapped.

WSJ - Indiana - They Barely Practice at All
I think injury reports should be totally transparent and thorough! When and why and how often are players getting injured are absolutely a stats that should be reported publicly. Players deserve to know, and coaches are negligent not to know. Mari-no-O was sooooo terrible with injuries.

There was apparently an "alleged assault" investigation going on prior to Moore's 8:30PM booking. Not clear if it's related. That's a quick fall from grace.

So far, Texas seems hellbent on proving to everyone that huge NIL budgets are not the most important factor.

Wouldn’t that constitute “pay for play”. I’m pretty sure that is not allowed in NIL though maybe things changed when schools were allowed to start paying players directly

Does Oregon Have the BEST Path to a Championship?
Folks are always careful......it's football......so two easy wins for Oregon. Assuming we get our receivers back. I truly believe this is the year Oregon goes all the way.

Does Oregon Have the BEST Path to a Championship?
I did as I thought Indy would beat tosu and I think we will win the Indy rematch. We played a below our standard game the first time around and we a deflected pass away from a possible OT game. tosu was the unknown as they hadn't played any really tough games until the BIG CShip where their worts were exposed.

Jim Knowles to Tennessee
Matt Campbell has a lot of work to do to plug holes in a program taking on water. I suspect that Knowles is paid too much, and not the relentless type of recruiter needed for Penn State right now. If I was Matt Campbell I would look to pay less to a younger, and more energetic DC, then provide incentives for a higher payout.

You lose one game to Ohio State and ... 😁 It looks like the Big Brother coach has followed the path of the Little Brother coach. MSU's firing of Tucker for cause was upheld. (J. Smith is available.) This is a talented and young football team with a good recruiting class. How many recruits bail and how many vets, including QB Underwood, transfer? Will Michigan show up to play Texas? Interim coach Biff Hoggi's play-calling was better than Moore's. I expect Biff (sorry, McFly 😁) will be the interim coach with a chance at the permanent gig. Underwood was committed to LSU before his services were purchased by Larry Ellison. I'd be shocked if the Portal King hasn't reached out. Maybe Michigan will alter course and go for a private capital deal? Stunning. After the events of this season, I thought nothing could shock me? Michigan visits Autzen next season. OBD return game in Ann Arbor in 2027.

Does Oregon Have the BEST Path to a Championship?
Another element of this path that may not get talked about enough is that if Oregon makes it to the final, they will have essentially three road games after hosting in the first round. With the nation's longest road winning streak by far (12), Lanning has proven to have his team ready in hostile environments. I actually think OBD are more focused on the road than at home and this could end up being positive vs home or mixed stadiums (Rose Bowl or Fiesta Bowl) with family and friends in tow. I wonder if there is a scenario where the team stays on the east coast in between bowl games should they advance vs. returning home for 3-4 days? Travel and jet lag wears on you and obliterates two of your prep days.

Jim Knowles to Tennessee
Reports are out that the 3 million dollar man, who is less than 11 months from winning a national championship, is now heading to his third stop in that time frame. Meanwhile, Iowa is ending it's 26th season with Kirk Ferentz as head coach, and Phil Parker as defensive coordinator.

Here’s the article confirming it. Sherrone Moore fired as Michigan head coachOn3 confirmed Wolverines players were abruptly called for a team meeting, where they learned of the news. Michigan AD Warde Manuel then announced the decision was for cause after a university investigation found “credible evidence that Coach Moore engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member” in a statement. Biff Poggi will serve as the interim head coach. On3Sherrone Moore fired as Michigan head coach.

There's something called the Blue Wall up in Ann Arbor. I don't know if it's real, but I heard from a Michigan State beat writer, that this group was prepping to get Moore out of there. Sounds too much like a James Bond plot to me. But the 'with cause' makes me wonder. As Charles said, kind of a bad time to be needing a coach. Unless this 'Blue Wall' had a plan.
