  2. With Poncho staying and Austin entering the portal, it feels like a strong indicator that Dante has already made a decision to remain next season. That said, this is college football, and nothing is ever truly settled until it is. As for Austin, quarterback development is almost always about fit as much as raw talent. We have seen that firsthand with Bo, and with Dante. The right system, coaching staff, and locker room chemistry can unlock a level of performance that may not surface otherwise. The talent is clearly there; it is a matter of finding the right formula to bring it out. I wish Austin nothing but success wherever he lands. From a football perspective, it would be interesting to see him spend a year with Will Stein, especially in a situation where a highly touted quarterback could sit, learn, and benefit from someone with a few seasons of experienced mentorship. Of course, NIL realities change the calculus entirely. At the end of the day, money talks, and this is modern college football.
  3. Some very good insights and stats that help, and I learned some important new items to watch for...
  4. Just the guy cheerleaders. 🙃
  5. Today
  6. I can't remember any bowl game that Oregon had the largest share of the crowd.
  7. I cannot grasp why any player would transfer away from a solid chance at a national championship to get a slight edge up the portal queue.
  8. These Locked On bozos subsist on clicks and homeboy subscribers, so the hyperbole about your own team/conference is the business model. And getting rich they aren't. The Locked On Ducks guy Spencer McLaughlin is better than most, and he has a side gig broadcasting Southern Utah games to help float his boat. Most of them scramble to get a game press pass that the On3 and 24/7 people get automatically. Broadcasting from mom and dad's basement pretty much sums it up for Toll the Troll. One of the Autzen Zoo writers (prone to the same level of sensationalism occasionally) reposted this guy's take and was pretty dismissive of it. For all of his Texas Tech honking and pubescent enthusiasm, he predicted BYU to upset TT in the B12 CG. So much for prognosticating prowess. As noted in some of the comments here, this stuff wont even rise to bulletin board material for DL and OBD.
  9. Maybe YouTube's algorithm thinks I'm a TT fan, but it seems like most lower grade pundits are picking TT. Lots of living in a bubble TTU fans with poor logic commenting too thinking they are going to beat up on us. I think the spread is over 3 by game time for a reason though. It is supposed to be close, but the deeper you dig, the more you see Oregon has the edge. Still, it's so close that whoever can play hardest for 4 quarters with the fewest mistakes will win. Since Oregon played more recently, that edge should be to Oregon.
  10. For round 2 of the CFP, Ducks need a tighter planAutzen ZooFor round 2 of the CFP, Ducks need a tighter planThe rope-a-dope Dan Lanning executed on the college football world in their 51-34 win over James Madison was brilliant. The game was never in doubt.
  11. Uh, strangely enough, teams from Texas have all won their bowl games. 😦
  12. But, are cheerleaders involved?
  13. The winning coach gets to share this with Snoop.
  14. I think Beano would've had a soft spot for the Bush's Boca Raton bowl.
  15. I was really hoping since they went with the home version of this, that they would wear the away version. Maybe change up the pants and helmet, but the jersey, to me, is fantastic. But what do i know.
  16. I shouldnt never type again without my contacts and glasses..... Thanks DR. for spotting that. Go Ducks
  17. As a moderator I should edit this (and I will), but I will make sure to poke fun at your mistake.
  18. Allegedly, he thinks TT is better then Indiana. I get that you should support your team, but dang, bud. I was waiting on the part where he reveals he is joking, but....Might be an interesting saturday for him.
  19. All it took was reading this snippet of the video description for me to close the window less than 10 seconds in: "The upcoming Orange Bowl matchup between No. 4 Texas Tech and No. 5 Oregon is a clash of identities where the Red Raiders’ bruising physicality is poised to neutralize the Ducks’ finesse-based speed." Couldn't even take the time to do the bare minimum amount of research prior to making the video. Don't feed the trolls, gentlemen.
  20. So many factors come into play before OBD"s and TT put the ball on that tee and start what shoild be a nerve racking game for the fans. No more questions or doubts, SOS won't matter, the talking heads view points carry little weight. It comes down to the players and the execution of their assignments within the game plan. The Duck D holds the key to this game. The Red Raiders offense thrived on 2nd down and short. This opened up their full playbook. TT struggled in 3rd and long. Hold the edges, bottle up the run game and force them to throw the ball. A heavy dose of Chaos is needed. Make them earn every yard for all 4 quarters. OBD's offense must be patient. 14 play, 7 minutes SCORING drives limit the amount of plays the TT offense will get. No self-inflicted mistakes that give TT a short field. TT has not felt the pressure mount on either side of the ball this year. OBD's can make that happen in all 3 phases of the game plan. Going to be a battle that OBD's can and should win. Go Ducks......
  21. We’ve seen Coach Lanning use videos of pundits “disrespecting” Oregon in Ducks vs. Them videos as motivation. However, I’m not sure these unknown tools would be worth it.
  22. Round 2 of the College Football Playoff is here, and since the bracket was announced it was almost an inevitably that No. 5 Oregon would meet No. 4 Texas Tech. Though this match-up was predicted so long in advance, there are still some questions that will only be answered on the field. Texas Tech’s Defense Texas Tech’s defense has been ... Orange Bowl Unknowns
  23. I see the ducks winning by more than a touchdown. I think the Big 12 is weak compared to the Big 10. The Ducks blue chip; talent will over power Texas Tech.
  24. Shouldn't that be played at Mile High Stadium?
  25. Use finger paint, he probably doesn't have the dexterity (mental or physical) for crayons!
  26. Hmmm…creepy guy that hangs out in mom and dad’s basement because his parents don’t want to listen to his BS podcast.
