  2. Thanks, Surgery went well. Non invasive so I'm just really sore ( which is dangerous because one tends to think they're superman instead of a mere mortal). Thank Charles. Because he has a gold mine and were really lucky to be able to speak our minds without wanting to nuke the entire comment section. That's why I write things that we like, this forum compels me to be as good as I can be
  3. I will admit I am nervous. I predicted a DUCK win in Mr. FishDucks prediction thread but after this tough week with our running backs, I am concerned. GO DUCKS!
  4. TOO MANY INJURIES I hope I'm wrong I hate to say this but... Indiana wins 27-17 1 1 239
  5. Christian Gonzalez Turns Heads With College Football Playoff PredictionThe Oregon Ducks are one of the final teams left in the race to bring home the College Football Playoff National Championship this season. Former Duck and current New England Patriots defensive back Christian Gonzalez had a funny way of predicting Oregon to win it all Oregon Ducks On SIChristian Gonzalez Turns Heads With College Football Play...The Oregon Ducks are one of the four teams that made it to the College Football Playoff semifinals. They joined the Indiana Hoosiers, Miami Hurricanes, and Ole
  6. Report: Oregon Ducks move pair of defenders to RB in wake of injuriesOregon is reportedly moving some defensive players to the offensive side of the ball, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel. The two players who made the switch are safety Kilohana Haasenritter, a former running back, and linebacker Brayden Platt, a former standout high school running back.
  7. I'm not nervous about the Peach bowl. Not because I don't think we can lose, but because I don't mind if we lose. There are fans for 128 team sitting at home, with their season over. I'm grateful to see our team get to play one more time. If this was basketball, we'd be saying "final four" non stop. I'm grateful that we are the 2nd best rated team in the country by power rankings at the end of the season and in the final four despite having the closest thing to a rebuild we'll ever have in the current era of Dan Lanning, NIL and the portal. We made it one level deeper into the playoffs than last year, which always feels like progress. We are playing with house money at this point, so instead of being nervous and worrying, I'm just going to enjoy watching the game, win or lose.

  9. I hope it's the fast acting type so he can infect the tacklers with it and take them out of the game! 😃
  10. To me Cignetti is the Kyle Whittingham of the B1G (of course that changes next season). Like Whittingham, Cig is a tough competitor and coach. His teams are disciplined, well-coached and seem to be pretty solid as human beings. I always liked Whittingham in the PAC 12 and rooted for Utah when not playing the Ducks. I’ll probably do the same for Indiana, but highly unlikely to do that for Michigan

  12. 'Fully committed' Demond Williams Jr. to stay at Washington https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47554312/demond-williams-jr-transfer-stay-washington Williams doesn't seem flaky at all 😆
  13. Ohio State transfer CB Aaron Scott Jr. looking to visit OregonFortunately for the Ducks, 247 Sports' Tom Loy has reported that Ohio State transfer cornerback Aaron Scott Jr. is looking to visit Oregon in the near future. The former Buckeye is currently on a visit to Wisconsin and is also looking to visit LSU
  14. My really healthy 29 year old had influenza recently and it took more than a week to recover. He doesn't have IV treatments but still, if it was"flu" or even norovirus Noah's not going to be able to perform as he typically does.
  15. You may not have noticed the menu bar in the header. There is a new item called “News.” We invited you to explore this section. When you click on the word “News,” you will see an index of multiple links to sports news sites for your enjoyment! From now on, except for a very few circumstances, our threads will be just one page. Advertising only appears on the first page and we want to make as much money as possible for the site. The bonus in doing this is that it will be easier for everyone to move around the thread. You will always be able to refer to the previous thread for reference. 19. Cig keeps his eyes on guys he can coach up - ESPN.comFrom 'duck feet' to 'production over potential:' Curt Cig...The Hoosiers' roster is filled with different kinds of players, but all had to meet Cignetti's standards.
  20. THI$ helps Cig's cau$e - YardbarkerMark Cuban continues to throw money at the Indiana HoosiersNotably, Indiana is already one of the biggest winners in this transfer portal cycle. The Hoosiers might have Cuban to thank for that.
  21. For 3 straight years in college football, the title will be won by the Big 10. Michigan - Ohio State - and now, Oregon (oh please, oh please, oh please). "Through 14 games, the Ducks have been successful 14 times on 30 fourth-down attempts. In contrast, Indiana has converted eight of 16 attempts through 14 games." What impresses me most about Indiana's 4th down numbers is that they only had to go for it -- or chose to go for it, on 4th down 16 times. Having to live, or rely, on 4th downs to survive is very risky business.
  22. I want OBD to put out that Cig! But with the turnaround of CFB's losingest program, Cig deserves the love. https://www.yardbarker.com/college_football/articles/these_stats_point_to_hc_curt_cignettis_brilliance_at_indiana/s1_13132_43301061?utm_source=mb&utm_medium=email&mb_edition=20260108&mb_loc=right_h

  24. Great article. Reminds me a little bit of Moneyball, except now, Indiana also has the money... but they didn't when Cignetti arrived. "In 15 years as a head coach, he has never once signed a five-star recruit." That's just incredible. I'm expecting Our Beloved Ducks to win tonight. "I hate losing, I hate it. I hate losing more than I even wanna win." - Billy Beane, Moneyball But if the absolutely unacceptable happened and I had to lose to somebody, I'm afraid to say that my only acceptable choice would be Indiana. It's just too good of a story. 10-1 Michael Lewis is already writing Moneyball - Part II (or Hoosiers Part II). But damn... after 52 years of loving our Ducks, I want this game so bad that I'm semi-afraid to watch the game tonight.
