Tyler Shough Visiting Oregon Ducks Game vs. Minnesota Ends DebateDuring a rare Friday night win for the Oregon Ducks against the Minnesota Golden Gophers, New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough watched from the sidelines at Autzen Stadium. 4. Oregon Ducks move into top 5 of US LBM Coaches Poll after Alabama loss The Ducks now sit at No. 5 in the nation after their 42-13 blowout win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Friday night. Here's a look at the top of the US LBM Coaches Poll: Ohio State Buckeyes Indiana Hoosiers Texas A&M Aggies Georgia Bulldogs Oregon Ducks Ole Miss Rebels Texas Tech Red Raiders Oklahoma Sooners Notre Dame Fighting Irish Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Oregon is now facing a tough test this weekend in Autzen Stadium, with the No. 16 USC Trojans coming to town for a Big Ten showdown that will hold massive weight in the College Football Playoff race. That game will be played at 12:30 p.m. PST and aired on CBS, and will bring ESPN's "College GameDay" to Eugene.

  6. I am happy that this game is at Autzen! GO DUCKS!

  8. ESPN's 'College GameDay' traveling to Oregon for Week 13 game vs USC Saturday, Nov. 22, will mark the 33rd time Oregon will be featured on "GameDay" and first time since 2007 that "GameDay" has traveled to Eugene twice in the same season. The Ducks have a 20-14 record when on the show, and 9-4 when featured as the home team. Oregon is coming off an impressive 42-13 win over Minnesota on Friday, Nov. 14. Dante Moore threw for 308 yards and two touchdowns, while Jordon Davison added two rushing touchdowns. The Ducks have won four in a row since the loss to the Hoosiers, which snapped an 18-game home winning streak. USC is coming off a 26-21 win over Iowa to extend its winning streak to three straight games since a 34-24 loss to Notre Dame on Oct. 18. The Trojans are still alive for the College Football Playoff, and a win vs. Oregon could get them right back into the thick of the race. A loss, of course, could eliminate them. Oregon and USC are both former members of the Pac-12, which moved over to the Big Ten ahead of the 2025 season. The Trojans lead the all-time series 38-23-2, with the Ducks winning the last three games.

  10. OREGON ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2025 OREGON FOOTBALL | @oregonfootball EUGENE, Ore. — ESPN's "College GameDay" pregame show will make its second trip to Eugene this season and 14th all-time ahead of the Oregon football team's top-25 matchup against USC on Saturday in Autzen Stadium. The game will be televised by CBS, with kickoff scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Oregon will be featured on the popular pregame show for the third time this season. "College GameDay" was produced from the site of the Ducks' double-overtime win at Penn State in Week 5, and then came to Eugene on Oct. 11 when Oregon hosted Indiana on Oct. 11. This marks the first time since 2007 that "College GameDay" has traveled to Eugene twice in the same season. No. 8 Oregon (9-1, 6-1 Big Ten) will host No. 17 USC (8-2, 6-1 Big Ten) for the first time since 2023. The Ducks have won three straight against the Trojans and five of the last six meetings. The Ducks are 20-14 all-time when playing in a game featured by "College GameDay," including 9-4 at home. The set for "College GameDay" will again be situated on the Memorial Quad on the University of Oregon campus. More details on the production will be announced as they become available.
  11. And you know they're upset they aren't playing at their place when it would have normally rotated back to USC home but the conference change messed with that. And they dodged us in 2024. Bring on the Trojan Tears!
  12. USC is significantly better in the trenches this year, although if they do have a weakness it would be pass blocking, but our defensive strategy is to pressure the QB without allowing escape lanes which is why we get home infrequently. We trust our secondary to hold up longer and defend the pass better. Makai Lemon, like Serrat is going to make some catches. There is no defense for the perfect pass and catch. I think if there is a weakness on USC's DL it's the edges. Their strength is in the middle.
  13. This is November football. To be the best the Ducks must beat the best. With the Trojans and Huskies on tap there is much to prove. It’s time to waddle the walk. There can be no excuses. Go players! Go coaches! GO DUCKS! I admit bias, but I believe these Ducks are built to succeed. The best is yet to come - Sinatra.
  14. Oregon Ducks' CFP chances increase, per ESPN Football Power Index
  15. The Trojans showed alot of grit and determination in the 2nd half against the Hawkeyes. Their D pitched a shutout and their offense did just enough to put points on the board to pull out a come from behind victory. I feel the Trojan offense was hindered by the weather. Just like our Duck O was restricted against Whisky and the Hawkeyes. OBD's utilized their powerful ground attack to win those games. It appears the game Saturday may have inclement weather. USC does not have a powerful ground attack, they score thru the air. Hope it pours rain and is windy. USC's defense does not match up well to stop the Ducks rush attack. Besides, if the weather is okay, USC has to go up against the best Duck Defense to take the field in along time. The order of the week is to rest, heal up and then remind this talented Trojan team how they are not welcome at Autzen. And support why they wanted to get in a different conference away from Oregon. Go Ducks......Take care of business these last 2 games.....

  18. The game between Oregon and Southern California in Autzen Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 22 will take place at 12:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on CBS. It will be just the second time in the past 10 seasons that the Trojans have played at Autzen Stadium. The last time was a 36-27 Oregon win in 2023 in what was USC's first game in Eugene since 2015.
  19. I'd buy one but not both. We lost at home to the #2 team by 10 points, beat then ranked Iowa on the road and just blew out the Gophers. Okie lost big at home to now out of it Texas and by 8 to Ole Miss. Beating Bama with Mateer having a so-so day will mean something, but not enough to leapfrog OBD. The ES(EC)PN bias will come in with leaving Bama just above Oregon. They did squeak by Georgia at home, but also lost at home to a dismal FSU that lost at home to the 'Furd. In a just universe devoid of Paaawl Finebaum, SEC bias and ESPN talking heads, the Ducks would be ranked above both. I'll be satisfied with splitting the difference. Doesn't matter anyway as Oregon must win both remaining games to hopefully end up at the 6th seed sweet spot.
  20. I'm anticipating Bear and Pregnon will have some insights on the Trojenz trenches. Not to mention an extra gear in their giddy-up going against old teammates.
  21. USC always has trouble in the trenches. I expect our DL will have their QB running for his life most of the game.
  22. USC game set for 12:30. So much for the "Fright Night" Black Out repeat.
  23. You mean when we put three tight ends on the field and move them into a run blocking formation and then into a passing offense? Yeah... that's a headache I'm sure they'll have next week.
  24. Watched a lot of football, today, but did not watch tOSU. OBD have the most balanced offense and an outstanding pass defense. Special teams is good, as well. I wish that the pass rush would put more heat on the opponents’ QB, and that very well could happen Saturday vs USC. I expect a win in both remaining games. We can run through the USC defensive line and their secondary will have a difficult time with our bigger receivers. The mutts will not be a problem. I’m hoping for an injury free finish to what is shaping up to be a very successful regular season. Go Ducks!
  25. Which teams have we struggled against with a high power passing attack? Indiana is the only one. Rutgers and Minnesota had pretty good passing attacks and they had little success. We have some of the best passing defense in the country statistically. It doesn't mean we are going to completely shut down their passing attack, but we can definitely limit them moreso than other teams have through the air. But they've also have had a lot of success on the ground. It's clear we are going to have to put up points. I think it will be first to 30 wins.
  26. He is a great hire to be sure. But before anointing him as the best hire ever, let's see him win something of significance first, lol.
