I use both my laptop and phone. I have noticed the ad video. My phone has not been slow.

Walter Nolen ... Do We Really Want This Guy?
Yes, we want him because Coach Lanning has decided to recruit him. No, do not boo Oregon players. For a die hard duck fan these are pretty easy answers.

Canzano Has Gone Completely Wacko: 'Pac-12 Fans AGREE OSU & WSU Should Be in Control'
I fully understand the benefits of the move to the B1G. Oregon will be a Junior Partner for 6 years since the current contract expires after the 2029-30 season. Six years is a long time. The $30 million plus discounted rate versus value over six years is at least $180 million that FOX will get to pocket in those six years. Same thing is happening to Washington. The combined $360 million was a big reason for FOX to not offer the PAC12 their true market value. OSU and WSU are trying to save the PAC12 and make their situation as good as possible. I will not get upset with them for doing what is best for their two universities. Just like, I do not think they should be upset with OBD for doing what was best for Oregon when we left for the B1G. In negotiations, I would think you get more money when you have the upper hand. You do not win by giving up your advantage.

Canzano Has Gone Completely Wacko: 'Pac-12 Fans AGREE OSU & WSU Should Be in Control'
Doesn't the litigation help to strengthen their negotiating position? Why would they drop something that helps them? The so called market placed is also costing Oregon tens of millions of dollars every year due to FOX taking advantage of Oregon's situation and only offering a 50% share. It is obvious that OBD brings much more benefit than the 50% share that FOX is paying.

Canzano Has Gone Completely Wacko: 'Pac-12 Fans AGREE OSU & WSU Should Be in Control'
The conference has not dissolved. Oregon and the other departing universities could have worked together to dissolve the conference before leaving but they chose not to. The ten remaining universities took away the voting rights of USC and UCLA when they gave notice of departure. Thus, Oregon had to know that their voting rights would be gone once they told the conference of their decision to leave for the B1G.

Canzano Has Gone Completely Wacko: 'Pac-12 Fans AGREE OSU & WSU Should Be in Control'
Sorry, but I cannot get upset about this whole situation. When USC and UCLA left for the B1G, the remaining ten teams told USC and UCLA that they had lost their voting rights. At that time, I agreed with that decision by the ten remaining teams. Once eight of the remaining ten teams decided to leave that left the PAC2. I like to stay consistent in my belief of what is right and wrong. Thus, I believe that OSU and WSU deserve to control the PAC2. I'm not going to change my opinion of what is right just because it would help OBD. The courts will decide on how the money will be dispersed. The court decision can take months or even years, so I will continue to enjoy OBD without worrying about the courts future decisions. OSU and WSU are doing exactly what any other university would do given their circumstances. Thus, I hold no ill will towards the Beavers in this matter. I am looking forward to the Civil War games in all sports. I appreciate this forum for allowing the posting of opposing opinions. Go Ducks!

Schedule Adjustments Include Home-and-Home With OSU
As a season ticket holder there are several things that I like about the changes. 1- 7 home games in both 2024 and 2025 instead of 8 in 2024 and 6 in 2025. 2- Getting rid of the road game at Boise State in 2025 and replacing it with a home game. Also the series with Boise State will only be two home games and no return trip to Boise. 3- Keeping the Civil War alive for the next two years. I enjoy the Civil War and look forward to the next two years. I also think it was smart to only schedule it for two years. This gives both schools time to decide if it is in the best interest of both schools to continue the game even longer. Nice work by Rob Mullens to get this put together for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

Ducks WBB: ‘Is the System Blinking Red?’
I'm with those of you that think it is time for a coaching change for our WBB team. I agree that the loss of Coach Campbell was huge. I expected this type of season once Pao Pao, Rodgers and Prince decided to transfer and Graves could not find players of equal talent in the portal. When Graves announced his non league schedule, I knew my concerns where valid. Even with this weak non conference schedule, Oregon has had two embarrassing losses. With Campbell, Oregon recruited 5 stars from around the nation. I'm sure those players are now asked by recruits why they transferred. Watching multiple elite players accomplish more with their talent after transferring from Oregon is a bad look for Graves. The failure to keep top recruits seems to be leading to the decline in recruiting and now with the play on the court. Has Graves lost some of the needed desire to coach since the covid shorten year that kept him from winning a National Championship? It sure feels that way to this fan of our WBB program. As fans we need to be prepared for multiple blow out losses this year in Pac12 games. UCLA, USC, Colorado, Stanford and Utah are all in the top 11 in the polls. The decline of the Oregon program has not occurred overnight. It has gotten worse each year since Sabina graduated. With the type of losses that Oregon will have this year, I fully expect our remaining top players to transfer out of the program. Since this has been a multiple year decline, I think a coaching change is needed to bring new life to the program. Mark Campbell should be on the short list of coaches to replace Graves but with Oregon's resources I think we should also approach coaches with a proven ability to win in the NCAA tournament. I hate to post negative things about any Oregon program but I just do not see Coach Graves being able to reverse the decline in the program. Hopefully I am wrong and the WBB team surprises me during the Pac12 season.

I'm Not Convinced Gabriel Will Help Oregon.
I'm not sure what you are expecting from Gabriel? I think it is very obvious that Gabriel is a proven veteran QB that greatly improved our QB situation. Our odds of competing for a B1G title have increased substantially with his addition to the team. I'm thrilled to have him join the Ducks and look forward to watching Gabriel lead OBD next fall.

Transfer Portal QB Questions…
I use to dislike the idea of getting a player with only one year of eligibility but the world of college football has changed. I now prefer that Oregon get the most talented players available each year. Even if it is only for one year. Fortunately, Oregon is attractive to elite players like Gabriel. I have confidence in Lanning's ability to determine if he needs to recruit someone for one year or promote from within. Without Gabriel we would enter our first year in the B1G with an unproven QB. With Gabriel we have an elite QB for our very important first season in the B1G.

Why I Think Oregon's Future Football Schedules Won't be Filled With Cupcakes.
Yes, I trust Rob Mullens to make good scheduling decisions going forward. I fully agree with his decision to keep the tradition of the Civil War. Rob is looking at the long term best interest of the Oregon program. Giving up one home game out of eight in 2024 is not important when looking long term. Having the Civil War game in Corvallis in the years that we play five B1G home games and then playing in Eugene when we only have four B1G home games is very smart. The game in Corvallis gives us a game with very little travel which offsets the longer distance most of the B1G away games require. I appreciate that Rob is not letting his emotions rule his actions in regards to the pending litigation regarding revenue distribution. I'm sure Rob realizes that since neither side will get everything they want why let the litigation stop us from scheduling Civil War football, basketball, softball, and volleyball games. I also like scheduling the Civil War game in September. This keeps the bye week prior to the Washington game. I am looking forward to seeing what our schedule will look like beyond 2028.

Civil War Renewed For 2024 And Beyond
According to John Canzano, Texas Tech will play Washington State instead of Oregon. Boise State agreed to play us a week earlier and Oregon State will play us the week originally scheduled for BSU.

Bitter Beaver: Oregon is to Blame for Oregon State's Decline
I will disagree with most of the people posting and say great work Rob Mullens. Preserving the Civil War is important to many Oregonians. While some fans of both teams do not want to keep the Civil War, I believe the majority of fans and residents of Oregon will enjoy the continuation of the game. If too many blowouts occur then the two universities can always cancel the series in the future. Rob was smart to get us a recurring road game for the years we have five B1G home games and a guaranteed home game for the years with only 4 B1G home games. With all the travel being required for the B1G it was smart to get a road game that is only 40 miles away. This decision also eliminated a game with the Big 12 that some on this board have advocated for him to accomplish. Hopefully, Rob continues to do what is beneficial for the University of Oregon and the State of Oregon.

Bitter Beaver: Oregon is to Blame for Oregon State's Decline
Annie, The Civil War game is replacing our game with Texas Tech. 13 regular season games but only 7 home games.

Duck Fan Choice: Would You Rather...?
Season tickets would be my choice. With the projected renewal of the Civil War being in Corvallis next year count on only 7 home games not the originally proposed 8 home games There are plenty of good seats in Autzen that do not require a donation. Several years ago I got tired of paying the donation and moved closer to the endzone. The games are just as exciting and enjoyable in the cheaper seats. The only thing I miss are the people that I sat next to for 15 years. It was always fun to see them each football season.

Why I Think Oregon's Future Football Schedules Won't be Filled With Cupcakes.
In my opinion, Oregon must match the type of schedules that teams like Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia and Texas are playing. These are the teams we want to be compared with nationally. Most of those team are scheduling 2-3 cupcakes every year and playing one tough non conference game. B1G playing 2 cupcakes while SEC teams play 3 cupcakes due to their 8 game league schedule. Now that we are in the B1G and playing Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State we can get a playoff spot without playing an SEC team in the non league. We just need to be ranked high enough to be able to play the SEC in the playoffs. For the next few years we need to keep our home and home games with Oklahoma State and Baylor and then play 2 easier games. Before doing research, I thought we should get rid of the Big 12 games and replace them with cupcakes but Michigan and Ohio State are playing teams like Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama and Georgia in the near future. It is probably too late to play that tough of an opponent in the next 4-5 years but we should not schedule 3 cupcakes. By playing the Big12 teams and possibly Oregon State that could help offset the big non conference games that Michigan and Ohio State are playing. It also helps that we get an opportunity to beat Michigan and Ohio State in league games or in a B1G championship game thus benefitting from them playing and beating a SEC team in non league. Short term (2024-2028) there is probably not a lot that the Ducks can change with their schedules but I'm curious to see what teams we schedule for 2029 and beyond. Ducks Face the Liberty Flames on Jan. 1
While I'm disappointed in the match up, I would think every Duck fan would be eager to watch this game for the reasons you listed. I know I am.

Ducks Face the Liberty Flames on Jan. 1
In my opinion this is the perfect response by a Duck fan. If I lived within a 3 hour drive I would be thrilled and eager to attend this game. I enjoy attending any football game that involves OBD. I drove the 18 hours to watch Joey destroy Colorado in the 2002 Fiesta Bowl but this year I will watch the game at home.

Well...THAT Changed My Saturday!
Still watching the games today. Not with the same interest. Now I'm hoping all the undefeated teams win. Four undefeated teams in the playoffs would be very interesting. I'm very curious what bowl we play in and who we play. Alabama, Texas, Ohio State, FSU would all be great opponents. Fortunately we have a coach like Dan Lanning, who has given us a team/program worthy of playing for conference championships and in NY6 bowl games.

GameDay Thread versus Washington in Pac-12 Championship: Join Us!
Great drive to end the half. We scored and left no time for Washington. Now we just need to score on the opening drive of the 2nd half. To go from down 20-3 to 20-17 before Penix can even get back on the field would be a huge momentum swing.

Cam Ward Hits The Transfer Portal
Very frustrating that a site that is suppose to be pro Duck would even mistakenly post something like this. It seems like the writers would have better things to do today. Don't they realize the biggest game of the year is about to kick off in a few hours? The above statement didn't seem like an apology just asking for understanding. Sorry but this Duck fan does not understand. The Ducks do not need this type of distraction today. Being the first to report should not come before accuracy. Even if accurate wouldn't a pro Duck site hold off until after the game? GO DUCKS. Beat the huskies
