Nope. Them turning on the MWC with lawsuits when there was an easy solution right in front of them closed the door for me. The PIG-2 continues to live up to the name, burning bridges left and right so their accounting teams can pretend to be low-end P4’s for two years. I’m rooting for the MWC all the way moving forward.

To me the, the picked up flag was egregious. That was plain as day and there was a reason they threw the flag to begin with. The rest are explainable, garden variety missed calls. I don’t think anyone is out to get us, you’ll see the same complaints at any team site about how Oregon got all the calls.

Reality still not quite setting in, they’ll explain away going 6-6 this year. Going 5-7, at best, with that trash schedule next year, might make things more clear.

We are stacked to the gills with talent. Now that things are rolling and consistent, I would expect our recruiting classes in the future to be under 25 players every year. As to the QB observations and the portal. I believe we are doing it perfectly as is. A high profile transfer took the job this year and we are currently developing 3 guys that I believe were all 4 stars or higher out of HS…not sure how to do it any better than that.

I'd say 100%. Sometimes it doesn't feel like it, but schools that are what I call arbitrary powers can fall off. Yale is STILL #1 for number of CFB championships. Oklahoma is #9 on that list, but it has now been a quarter of a century since they won one. Finish 10th place in your new conference a few years in a row and suddenly you're some school in the middle of nowhere that seems like ancient history.

Tough one, I’d give the edge to FSU. Not sure how you go from undefeated regular season to what they are now. They’re just awful. At least U$C is only “4 plays away” from undefeated. One could also make a strong case for Oklahoma. First year in the SEC is a BAD time to disappear. If they don’t right the ship next year they could become the next Nebraska.

These talking-heads really don’t like to be wrong, and most of them picked tOSU. Pick apart reality enough and you become correct.

It’s not totally hands down imo. Georgia beat Texas and Clemson (both top 10 now) as well as played Alabama even though they narrowly lost. Not sure how legitimate BSU really is given Idaho did just about as well against us, that was all about OBD, not BSU.

This. Everyone keeps talking about how we’re going to Hoth. Odds are very high the weather will be just as bad in Eugene those two weeks. We’ve regularly had November games in places like Utah, Pullman, Seattle, Boulder, Corvallis, and Eugene. We aren’t from San Diego.

Interesting takes. We could lose to Wisconsin, but predicting a loss is another kettle of fish imo, they aren’t great. Imo the biggest threat remains Michigan on the road, with a QB switch this week finally happening, that game should be our #1 red alert.

No matter what conference they ended up in, to me it feels like every former PAC team is doing just about exactly what they’ve been doing the last 15 years.
