  1. This is actually amazing, our numbers should only go up.
  2. Splitting hairs and it’s a game of relativity. One player going up can be because of another going down, doesn’t mean the player moving up magically improved…necessarily. I love having this info and the research that is available, but at a certain point all I care about is the macro. I don’t get attached to players until they actually play meaningful minutes anymore.
  3. I’m not judging anyone’s choices, I’ve just gone the route of adding Sling Orange for 7 months a year the last few years, now I won’t have to…party on Garth!
  4. I agree, but I think going 16 or even staying 12 is enough. Most years if a team finishes at #24 we’ve seen enough. They’re probably 8-4 and it’s time to move on.
  5. Very hard to say, but given they struggled with WSU when they were at the very top of their game, there are some hilarious assumptions, that sound eerily like the rodents. Penciling in a 5-0 start is absurd. They will probably go 3-2 in their first 5 games, and on paper (as of today) I’d say 2-5 or 3-4 (at best) in the last 7. I’d put them at 4 to 6 wins.
  6. Perfect for U of Florida, Fisch era will be brief.
  7. And I can get rid of Sling in a mere 2 months, no more dealing with the PAC12 network is a positive. 🥳
  8. Good one! Don’t wish them longterm failure necessarily, but would love to see OSU go about 6-6 (or worse) in year one. Many of their fans are so certain they’re going to roll over everyone (because they’ll be just as good but with a much weaker schedule) and make the playoff, all a part of their loyal, doing things the right way choice to form the PAC 2. Once they’ve settled into their MWC lifestyle in a couple years it wouldn’t offend me if they did okay at their level, lol. Want CU to fail. Those clowns were a completely irrelevant flop since joining the PAC and finally move the needle the last year of the conference….they can sit and spin. Made the conference weaker with their addition. ASU can sit and spin as well. Been hearing about the “sleeping giant” since the 70s. They were never a giant, let alone a sleeping giant. Wouldn’t mind seeing Utah and Arizona do well. The rest I’m pretty indifferent about. Those joining our conference we can control our destiny with, them sucking doesn’t help us much. CalFurd couldn’t care less.
  9. Soon as I saw the punter listed I stopped reading
  10. I think both OSU and Arizona stepped into a vacuum during a season that saw the conference getting too much credit overall nationally, but who I was to argue with everyone thinking the conference was awesome for once? OSU felt like “Penn State West” to me. Seriously, who in the conference was any good outside the top 2? Who did Arizona actually beat outside of OSU and an Oklahoma team without a ton of starters playing? They gave USC a run for their money, but in fact lost to a relatively terrible USC team. They looked good, and probably were pretty good at the end, but just about every team outside the top 4 had a disappointing season in conference. Both UA and OSU definitely stepped up and were solid, but I think they got a wee bit inflated. I realize in some way you could say the same thing about us. The difference is we man-handled most teams we played. Interesting that coaches of the #1 #3 and #4 teams all cashed in from a year the conference was finally perceived as strong, despite USC and UCLA being horrible.
  11. He got pretty lucky with a QB injury. Fun thing is we’re now spiritually bringing along OSU and Arizona to our new conference, just with different costumes lol
  12. Grab while the iron is hot, no guarantees Arizona wins 10 next year.
  13. Guess the semantics didn’t work out. That answer was totally shifty and conditional, definitely not emphatic
  14. Given the source that inspired this I’m going to go with 0% chance
  15. Chance to double salary and go to the B1G seem like compelling reasons. I’m sure they won’t touch football in an overt manner, but salary wise would they be able to (politically and fiscally) double their coaches salary? Keep assistant coaches? This is the way for them I think
  16. And TUCSON, Ariz. - University of Arizona President Robert Robbins says in order for the school to get its finances back in order, employees will be laid off. The Southern Arizona-based public university is grappling with a $240 million miscalculation of its predicted cash on hand, and Robbins told the university's Faculty Senate that there will be employee layoffs in the Athletics Office.
  17. Arizona discovered a $250m mistake recently, major dumpster. They ideally need a coach that can bring a young QB along…totally would have been wanting Fisch if DL had left.
  18. Arizona is a fiscal dumpster fire, I’m guessing Fisch will jump by Tuesday
  19. 1 or 5 star in HS doesn’t matter, he’s considered the second highest rated player in the portal that everyone wanted in 2024.
  20. I’m going to go with DeBoer goes to Alabama if they can’t poach an SEC rival, and Michigan promotes a “Michigan Man” from the current staff…which will most likely be a mistake.
  21. Greg Byrne still has a soft spot for Oregon, TY Greg for elevating us lol
  22. I’d say it’s over for good unless he goes to the NFL one day. Dude just did what would have been unthinkable just 2-3 years ago.
  23. Step 1 - No more PC complete Step 2 - Get rid of all UW crossover fans incomplete So close. A simple two step process and I can root for a Seattle team with out hurling.
