Five Georgia Defensive Players Go in NFL Draft First Round
30Duck replied to Mudslide's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
USC keeps falling in my respectometer. Washington is safe at the bottom but ever since 17 Bathrooms took over as Coach the Trojans have been plunging. -
No offense my friend. But I don't mind, "Bulletin board material". A coach of a team with swagger will say that and his team will be ready for the response. Now, if a team doesn't have swagger than, it could get ugly.

Who from the Ducks next season could be projected as the No.1 Pick?

I liked that he didn't follow the Lou Holtz plan: "(Fill in Team) is a great opponent, we'll have to play our best" or even Chip because all opponents aren't the same. "Whoop" is exactly what I wanted to hear from Lanning about this game.

YES!!!! No Coach speak from Lanning.

It could have been 6. Nakobe's, Georgia All American, Butkus Award winner, did not go in the 1st Round. -

A couple of things: Wilner gives Lanning a "Failing" because Oregon won't have the talent on defense next season that Lanning had at Georgia. C'mon John, every school except maybe Alabama would get that every season. I also didn't get the F in basketball either. Yes, Guerrier and Richardson both made themselves available for the NBA Draft. But it's a move to see what it looks like for them, both are able, and likely to return, and it hardly means that we need to take a look at Altman's touch with transfers...Barthelemy just transferred from Colorado, and he and Guerrrier are looking forward to playing together. I give Wilner an F

As far as brands go, Oregon doesn't take a backseat to any other school, and this is without winning a Natty. But Oregon's hat is a regular now in front of the top recruits when they make their announcements. Defensive Coordinator Tosh Lupoi Believes Oregon Football Sells Itself on the Recruiting Trail - Sports Illustrated Oregon Ducks News, Analysis and More WWW.SI.COM Lupoi could help the Ducks reach new heights in talent acquisition

I'm sure you're right. WSU has had high level consistency at QB for a long time. It doesn't matter the coach or the player, every game it seems they go 55-70, 560 yards. But somehow the Cougars have not won consistently, they haven't even been able to take control of the Apple Cup. much less the North.

Five Georgia Defensive Players Go in NFL Draft First Round

If this doesn't say what a championship program is, nothing does. 5 first round picks from the defense are gone from the team, but Georgia is going to be contending for the championship next season. -
The Falcons took WR, Drake London from USC for Marcus to throw to, and the Chargers took OG, Zion Johnson from Boston College.

Since the 2013 NFL Draft, Alabama and Oregon have both had 3 top 5 picks: Alabama: Cooper, 2015, Williams, 2019, Tagovvailoa, 2020. Oregon: Jordan, 2013, Mariota, 2019, Thibodeaux, 2022.

The Top 10 streak for the Ducks continues: 3 years in a row. Herbert was No.6 in 2020, Sewell, No.7 in 2021, now Thibodeaux goes No.5 in 2022. First from the Pac-12 so far in 2022.

Unfortunately, the XO and his pals on the USS Nimitz thought so too, and if you had seen it as many times as I had to, with no chance of escape! !!! Give me "Stripes" "Groundhog Day" -
If Cota can even inspire memories of Maehl the Ducks will be in great shape!
