  1. When I say that I think Cristobal "is on the verge" I look at two time defending conference champion, a Rose Bowl win, upgrades in replacing coaches, building a positive culture, the best recruiting ever seen at Oregon. The only Pac-12 teams to recruit better were Carroll's USC teams. Now, if he would just get out of the offense's way.
  2. Justin Herbert had no idea he was going to play, much less start, his first NFL game, against the Super Bowl champion, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Chargers almost won. The rest of the season, except knowing that he was going to play, went the same. The Chargers ended up 7-9. They have a new coach, and next season a lot of NFL people are looking for the Chargers and Justin to have a great 2021 season. from NBC Sports Northwest
  3. "On the verge of superstardom" Yes, I believe he is on the verge. The two coaches above him on the list have had more success, though Riley hasn't done anything with the Sooners appearances in the Playoffs, and Day landed at Ohio State, which really is close to "Coach-proof", unless they hired Clay Helton.
  4. Excellent point, and to be fair to the Chargers, this story IS NOT a response to any move, or even a suggestion of the Chargers, showing any inclination, to trading Justin for Watson, or any other QB for that matter.
  5. Sabrina and Ruthy were a deadly combo that no team really had an answer for, and throw in Satou and you get, well we know what you got. The potential of Sedona and Nyara, and all the talent around them, is another wave that could leave the Pac-12 in its wake.
  6. Ducks football is year round, baseball is about to start up again. What we need is a story about both, and we have one, from FishDuck.com. Don Reynolds was a star on the baseball and football teams back in the 70's. Part 1 Part 2
  7. Deshaun Watson wants out of Houston, he has asked them to trade him, that makes sense after some of the moves Houston has made. There are a lot of teams that not only would love to have Watson, but need him. The LA Chargers are not one of them. From NBC Sports Northwest
  8. This is sound. The first 3 games of the season were easier, Shough and the team regressed as the season went on, rising up in the championship game against USC. If Shough's confidence wasn't destroyed by the end of the season, and he can compete and win the starting job, I think that would be a great sign going forward.
  9. It is arbitrary as David noted, and also it can be completely backwards' the talent of the player isn't what generates the rating, but which teams are interested in him does. This is why Marcus Mariota was a 3 *.
  10. Can you really recruit to Nebraska though?
  11. Who knows, maybe Kenjon Barner will score the winning touchdown for Tampa Bay. If that doesn't happen I'm going with Kansas City, and if the Buccs go up 14-0, that's just where the Chiefs want them.
  12. Right now it looks like it's between the Ducks and the Huskers.
  13. This guy isn't going to Washington either. But this guy really wants the job
  14. You raise some very good points. JTT doesn't owe an explanation to anybody on his strategy. But it is hard to recognize upon what it is based. The minuses are overtaking the pluses as he delays his decision.
  15. It has not been easy for Sedona Prince. "At her lowest moments, she said, "I had thoughts of, am I ever going to play the way I'm supposed to, and the way I know how?" From GoDucks.com
  16. Yes. With the hats on the table or peeling jerseys off, now LOI day isn't a big enough stage for JTT? Of course I'll be thrilled if he ultimately decides to be a Duck. But, really?
  17. That is so true. There is no way to underestimate how much that "respect" plays in recruiting now.
  18. That is so cool, and an amazing story. Thanks so much for sharing it with us!
