Colin Cowherd just Proved that he Didn't Watch an Oregon Game this Season
So true. I have listened to Cowherd since he did the sports on Channel 8 in Portland, and it didn't seem like he watched the games back then, He has gone on to bigger, and I guess better, since. But his show is cotton candy noise,

Colin Cowherd just Proved that he Didn't Watch an Oregon Game this Season
Colin and his co-host, a huge 'Canes fan, have been raving about Cristobal being the new Coach, But what caught my attention was when talking about how long it would take for Miami to be contending for the championship she said, "I think they've got to be in contention for the National Championship by year 4." and Colin responded with, "Oh yeah, yeah, they're lucky because they've got the quarterback and the skill people"

College Football: How Do You Make a Champion?
Exactly, no Titanic here. 2001, the Ducks were denied their chance by a computer. But we can't forget 2007 when Oregon was conceded the Championship and the Heisman, until Dixon went down. So close, but so far? USC had been dead in the water,, but is now living the "Life of Riley" with its new Coach. Oregon can get back on track with the right coach, it has too many things going for it not too, aside from residing in the outskirts of College football known as the Pac-12 with their neighbor, USC.

Sometimes the De-Committ's go the Other Way
I guess he really didn't like Brian Kelly's Southern accent.

Interesting take
Thanks very much for bringing this over, PittDuck. I would also say it's not a bad take at all. He references a lot of the feelings, emotions, that Oregon fans are going through, particularly that we just went through them with his predecessor. He also had some comments on the coaching search that I thought were accurate and reasonable.

Agree with this, and also your evaluations of the contenders. Aranda is the only one of this bunch I would call a home run hire, and Oregon needs a win the day with this hire.

Bring Back Chip Kelly? No Thanks
Actually, and I was there too in '73, the Ducks beat the Huskies, 58-0; the next year, in Seattle, the Huskies won, 66-0, the first in a 6 game winning streak. They had quite a few of those.

Oddsmakers: "Oregon is Destined for an Underwhelming Hire"
Exactly. But instead of that Oregon thought they could keep the momentum going with Helfrich.
