  1. That's it. The SEC has 3 or 4 top teams too, but they get in the Playoffs and win championships. The B1G is pretty much Ohio State, ACC is Clemson & Notre Dame. The Big 12 & Pac-12 need to win Playoff games to be taken seriously.
  2. Certainly can't disagree with Captain Kirk.
  3. Arnett took the defensive coordinator position on Mike Leach's staff in Starkville last winter, after previously accepting the same position at Syracuse, but only working for the Orange for 11 days.
  4. Great post! I was trying to remember Antonio Gates.
  5. Jordan (Kent) began playing football when he was a junior in college at the University of Oregon. While at the University of Oregon, Jordan also played Basketball and ran Track for the Oregon Ducks. And now he does play-play for the Blazers.
  6. Altman said it wasn't related to COVID-19 as the team tested him twice and both tests came back negative.
  7. After the Fiesta Bowl, all Ducks fans are asking the same question?
  8. All of that, just remember the RB's we have had, James, Barner, Freeman, Droughns, McCullough, Smith, Morris. Have to start getting that quality again.
  9. Again, we look to Alabama now for offensive strategies! I'm remembering now that the Ducks were there to the end with Najee Harris, from Antioch High School, in the East San Francisco Bay Area, until he chose Alabama. Saban definitely knew how to use him.
  10. Very true, we don't need another CHL, just a starting point in evaluating.
  11. I noticed some RB's with size and no transfer prediction: Antuan Branch, 6'0, 230, UNC Jamari Peacock, 6'1, 220, UVA Gilberto Torres, 5'11, 225, UMASS
  12. If he wants to play baseball, he'd be a great DH.
  13. Offering him the opportunity to play basketball, and TE, seem enticing to him as well as both teams. He and Thibs on the line together would give OC's nightmares, Mario has achieved great success in recruiting, unlike anything at Oregon before, landing Tuimoloau would take it even higher.
  14. It will be a lot harder for the Women, just because the competition is so much better, though the way Oregon competed, while Graves was still experimenting with player rotation, against UCLA & Stanford, certainly makes it look possible. The Men started conference play with a close win over last place Washington, and of course lost in Colorado. There were parts of the other games when the Ducks weren't playing well, but they finished strong. This weekend the Ducks are at Arizona & ASU, the Wildcats & Sun Devils both coming off being swept by the LA schools. They will go a long way towards winning their half of the conference by keeping those losing streaks going.
  15. “We’ve got a really good team, and we got a lot of talent coming back.
  16. Fascinating. At the height of, "the blur", Saban insisted that not only was it bad for the game aesthetically, up tempo offenses were dangerous, risky to the health of players. Now apparently it's all good. Mario pledged when he came to Oregon that he would keep the offense going, but with bigger, better players. So far, he has recruited bigger, potentially, better players, but he abandoned the offense!
  17. In San Diego, a local gym was separated into two courts. On one side was the upper grade team, and on the other was the lower grade team. On the lower court, 10-year-old Te-Hina Paopao laced up her shoes to begin her practice drills.
