  1. Great insights, Hayward Duck. Tom Brady was underused at Michigan, and wouldn't have gotten his chance at New England, but for former WSU Cougar, Drew Bledsoe being injured.
  2. No upset would be bigger than the Browns, fresh off their blowout of the Steelers in their first playoff game since 2002, beating the defending Super Bowl champion, Kansas City Chiefs. I doubt the Browns defense can slow the Chiefs offense down enough for that to happen, though. It will be a battle of Cal Bears when Jared Goff of the Rams go into Green Bay to play Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.
  3. I have been anxiously waiting for softball to return since it stopped so abruptly last season. Some of my favorite Ducks played at, "The Jane" and I'm sure that I'll have some more coming from this team.
  4. We really only get to see linemen after their called for a penalty, so we won't be able to watch him anyway
  5. "Could become a candidate" is alright.
  6. The Rams go from sunny LA to the, "frozen tundra" of Green Bay to take on the Packers.
  7. You're very right, Joshua. The Ducks need a quarterback playing at his highest level if it wants to achieve its goals. Winning the Pac-12 for a third year in a row is definitely possible, if not probable. But you're right again when you say that won't be enough to keep the 4's and 5's coming. A quarterback battle is always interesting, and this one for the Ducks is no exception. Shough had an up and down season that definitely ended on the downside, what does he bring to the table in the Spring? Is Brown still here? Ashford & Butterfield have chances to impress, as does heralded Freshman, Thompson, and all of the quarterbacks will have an outstanding WR corps to throw to.
  8. "This is a great day for Jacksonville and Jaguars fans everywhere," team owner Shad Khan said in a statement.
  9. The Ducks got off to their worst start of the season.
  10. There was some good to to take out of the game. The Lady Ducks never quit, they never stopped playing hard. I didn't see any Duck with her head down, or act out of frustration. It wasn't their day in a big way, but they took it as a team. I Think Kelly has demonstrated that he's the perfect coach for this situation and he and the players will move on.
  11. Does anybody want to see either of these again?
  12. As far as birthday presents go, that game has to be the worst. The football team played better in the Fiesta Bowl.
  13. True about the record, and credit to you for recognizing it.
  14. The best thing about the players on that list is that the speculation that they could have breakout seasons is anything but wild, and I have high hopes for the HM's as well. This is what you get with great recruiting.
  15. If Oregon could only have one uniform...HORROR!!! I hope it would be this one:
  16. Thanks for the heads up on all those players.
  17. All the best, Urban, get to the NFL and stay there.
  18. Absolutely, Oregon proved that when you hit rock bottom, (Taggart) , you can only go up, (Cristobal).
  19. ESPN's NFL Draft insider Todd McShay has looked at the available players with the draft declaration deadline coming in just a week and has released his latest NFL mock draft.
  20. Meyer is highly interested in the possibility of coaching in the NFL.
  21. The college football season has hit the offseason part of the cycle, and that means recruiting, recruiting, and more recruiting.
  22. The Pac probably doesn't produce the same amount of NFL players as does Alabama, or national championships. LSU just won a title, Georgia, Texas A & M are in the mix. The B1G has Ohio State. Oklahoma has been a practice dummy in its appearances in the Playoffs, but it got in. Oregon would certainly help themselves by getting back to the Playoff, but the conference needs at least USC to be a viable contender as well.
  23. Great point about Boley's game. What is even more impressive, is that, by design, it's so much different from her role last season, which was to stand at the 3 point line. That she is able to do so well at so many things this season is truly impressive.
