  1. Former UCLA Bruins Linebacker Mitchell Agude Announces Transfer Destination - Sports Illustrated Oregon Ducks News, Analysis and More WWW.SI.COM Agude visited Oregon and his other finalists prior to making his commitment
  2. Michigan has tradition; they're the winningest football team in history, but a lot of good that's done them. They finally beat The Ohio State, and Harbaugh TRIED to leave. Winning a Title doesn't give you tradition either. It's nice, it's an achievement and gets you a trophy. But 1 does not a tradition make. Notre Dame, yeah I know, they have tradition, USC, has tradition. Ohio State has tradition. Alabama had tradition with Bear, now Saban. LSU can come to the Tradition party with Michigan. Texas? I don't know how many championships the Longhorns have, The one they got over USC doesn't give them Tradition. Washington? No.
  3. Full disclosure, I will be watching "March Madness" but checking in on the baseball game during commercials, and there's a lot of them isn't even an option? The Pac-12 Network is like MeTV, they can't afford very many live events so put up reruns. MeTV can't afford "WKRP" so an hour of "Gomer Pyle" it is.
  4. We know all about Tradition, at least USC has some, while Washington just thinks it does.
  5. Like everybody else here I hope I read Axel's topic starter about USC and Oregon baseball this weekend and he included the options for watching the game. Unfortunately, the Pac-12 Network wasn't one of them! Today, the time on the Pac-12 Network is filled with "Women's Lacrosse, Stanford at Cal" to all Women's Lacrosse fans here, I mean no offense, but c'mon? On Pac-12 Oregon we can watch replays of Oregon Women's basketball and a replay of last season's tournament b game between Oregon State and ASU, so yes, the Pac-12 Network is turrible!.
  6. Oregon did win the championship in 1939, but they weren't the Ducks, they were the Tall Firs.
  7. Oh yes, when somebody says, "I saw you at the game." He really did see you. Back then Autzen was a great place to go for a nap on a Saturday afternoon.
  8. Atlanta reunites Marcus with Art Smith, who was the OC at Tennessee, and now HC with the Falcons. Atlanta could just be biding their time and Marcus is just filling a position. Or they could be trying to start over and thought Marcus-Smith would work. With Deshaun Watson now at Cleveland, Baker Mayfield is available.
  9. My pleasure. I try to incorporate some objectivity, pessimism? into my off season projections, so I'll respect BYU, and EWU is always a challenge. I'm going to believe they don't have another Cooper Kupp at WR for this game.
  10. It's truly exciting to have PK Park and The Jane rocking. I thank George Horton for being at the helm when Oregon brought baseball back. But it was time for him to go. Who knows, Coach Was could be a preview of what Lanning could do with the football team Horton and Mario both trended toward the P O philosophy.
  11. Oregon has another highly rated recruiting class coming in, how many of last year's players will still be here? Oregon Ducks basketball projected starters and key players in 2022 DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM With Altman’s usage of the transfer portal, it’s tough to project the starting lineup for next season, but we gave it a shot.
  12. Exactly how I saw it, and I had AZ in my Final 4 too.
  13. Absolutely. Like Oregon, the Zags had no Alpha Dog last night. For the Zags it worked out alright for most of the season, their transition game is that good. But Ark slowed it down. Holmgren tried to lead, but it's hard to do that from the frontcourt. and he couldn't match up against Ark's bigs and was in foul trouble early. Holmgren is projected as a high Lottery pick, but unless he puts on 30 lbs, what happened last night will happen in every game in the NBA.
  14. And this happens right before a home series against the Trojans. Absolutely next man up now. Oregon baseball pitchers Adam Maier, Andrew Mosiello out indefinitely; infielder Drew Cowley out with broken hand WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM Right-handed pitchers Adam Maier (arm) and Andrew Mosiello (back) are out indefinitely and aren’t slated in this weekend...
  15. All-Pac-12 EDGE Mitchell Agude narrows transfer decision down to 3 DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Mitchell Agude is an all-Pac-12 edge rusher who will choose between 3 schools to transfer to on Friday afternoon. Will he land...
  16. And we thought UW was just a Women's Crew School.
  17. So far, it hasn't hurt any of the teams I've wanted to win, so maybe it hasn't been that bad, but truly there've been some calls. NCAA Ensures Officiating Errors Are Doomed to Repeat Themselves WWW.SI.COM Numerous missed calls and poorly-officiated games have college basketball’s refereeing problem on full display.
  18. This prediction comes the day after the Chiefs traded away Tyreek Hill. One of them held on to KC winning it, her logic mainly being they've won it 6 years in a row. But the others go with my thinking. KC traded away their rocket. Every game plan dealt with Hill. 1 0n 1 coverage was ridiculous to even think about, and we all know what he did with the coverage that was used against him, and he also took coverage away from All-Pro TE, Jason Kelce. The Chiefs will get another WR, but it won't be the same.
  19. Take a minute, it will actually take much longer to come up with a matching duo of NFL and NBA players from Washington to match Herbert and Pritchard from Oregon. Oregon Ducks in the NBA: Celtics move Payton Pritchard into rotation DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Former Oregon Ducks guard Payton Pritchard stepped up his game for the Boston Celtics recently, leading to a surge in the standings.
  20. A big thanks for coming up and sharing this idea with us Jon, too bad these kinds of ideas aren't coming from the Pac-12 office. I don't see maintaining the status quo being an option for the Pac-12 if it wants to remove itself permanently from "After Dark" status. The SEC was already the dominant conference, then it added Texas and Oklahoma! The Pac-12 is treading water while the SEC expands even more, The SEC's attitude of doing what's best for them is a big part of why college football has eroded overall, but the SEC doesn't care about that for now. Oregon and USC do not, and should not, go down with the Pac.
  21. Fortunately, for me Jon, this is the area of the game I am most confident in Lanning coming through. "Effort and energy" seem to seep through the pores of Lanning and his cadre of coaches. I have no doubt that we'll see this is game 1, game 2, and for the whole season. The team will not get over hyped with a W or despondent after an L.
