  1. SEC gets the first bite, Florida 87 Maryland 71.
  2. Condon back for the Gators, Florida leads 63-54, 10:24 left in the 2nd half.
  3. Florida was off to a great start, after about 5 minutes, led 18-9, but then center Alex Condon injured his ankle, at halftime, Florida 40 Maryland 38. Condon is riding a training cycle behind the bench.
  4. This brings me back to my thought right after the game. I think osu2 seriously underestimated Oregon at Autzen, and still almost won. In the Rose Bowl, the kindest thing to be said is that OBD were complacent. It was hard enough for our undersized secondary to deal with Smith, when Chip put some new schemes into play, well, we saw what happened. On defense, that osu2 D was full of NFL'ers, and they were ticked off from the first game.
  5. It is a glorified scrimmage, free for the fans, get a look at some new players, the last thing it should be is competitive. If a Duck gets injured during the spring Game, that's just really bad luck. no way do I want a Beav or any other creature getting a shot at a Duck.
  6. I don't know, if I was at the game the delays would bother me more than they do watching on TV, if the review gets it right, I'm okay with them.
  7. I should want that, but I don't, mainly because I believe Ducks LOST the game to Love & the Wildcats more than ARZ won the chance to play Duke.
  8. I have Florida beating Maryland today, tomorrow though, I go Michigan State over Ole Miss, and the form chart doesn't support it, but Michigan over Auburn. Houston takes care of Purdue and Duke handles Arizona. Alabama over BYU, Texas Tech over Arky and Tennessee over Kentucky.
  9. 4 from the B1G are still playing, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State & Purdue. SEC has 5. Big No.4 Maryland vs SEC No.1 Florida, today @ 4:39 PST Tomorrow, SEC No.6 Ole Miss vs B1G No.2 Michigan State and B1G No.5 Michigan vs SEC No.1 Auburn. B1G No.4 Purdue vs No.1 Houston. Also today, No.4 Arizona vs No.1 Duke. 10. This is why the difference between the USC Honk & the UW Honk are so stark. The USC fan is a frontrunner, the biggest frontrunner of all the bluebloods. Cue Jerry Reed, "When you're hot you're hot, when you're not you're not" is the theme song for USC fan, and even then, it's an inch thick. JuJu Watkins is a fantastic basketball player, but USC basketball? Jimmy Kimel could send out a camera crew, all day, and not find a single fan who could name the starting line up. Whereas UW Honk is just seriously delusional about UW's Blueblood status. The 91 championship team was great. Look through the season. But really. that's it. You have to keep going back, and back to find the span that UW dominated OBD, and the 70 point game, done under the coaching eye of Petersen, is the most classless act by a coach in my time as a fan. The constant whining about Knight, the "academic prowess" Kelsey Plum >Sabrina Ionescu. are you kidding?
  11. I am fascinated by the lack of Fire around Franklin at Penn State, the fan response, fervor toward Franklin's futility reminds me more of Cal & Wilcox, than that of osu2 & Michigan. The 13 starters back is similar to osu2 from last season, yet, even with a brand new QB, amidst other newbies all over Oregon, I'm fine with Oregon being the favorite @ Penn State.
  12. Caitlin Clark sends message to JuJu Watkins amid awful injury news WWW.YARDBARKER.COM Caitlin Clark is offering her support to JuJu Watkins in the wake of Watkins’ devastating injury. The USC star guard went down...
  13. There cannot be enough credit heaped upon Oregon's Diamond coaches, Lombardi and Wasikowski. When White left Oregon, a lot of the players went with him to Texas, a lot of others left, and there were signs of tension between Lombardi, and the few players who stayed. All Lombardi did was leave the dominant team in the sport, go across the country, to coach a team that was beyond broken. and now look where they are, "The Jane" is rockin' again. The baseball team wasn't in ruins when Wasikowski took over, but kind of in a coma. Small ball wasn't getting it done under Horton. He did a good job getting the sport started again at Oregon. But it was time for a new coach and style.
  14. Definitely hate losing a DL, especially if USC is an option.
  15. Tackle this!
  16. Oregon men’s basketball falls 87-83 to Arizona in NCAA Tournament Round of 32 - Daily Emerald DAILYEMERALD.COM SEATTLE — The comeback boys were behind with just enough time left to call it possible. It’s where Oregon had been all year...
  17. At the start of the game, I thought how bad I'd be feeling if the Ducks were down 19-4? I wasn't thinking they'd have the lead 10 minutes later.
  18. 19 point turnaround for Arizona, from a 15 point lead early for the Ducks, to the 42-38 Arizona lead at halftime. the comeback was fueled by Oregon turnovers and offensive rebounds and second chance points for Arizona, they had 4 OR's resulting in 2 points once
  19. B1G No.4 Maryland gets last second shot to beat No.12 Colorado State, 72-71.
  20. SEC gets another one over the B1G, No.3 Kentucky over No.6.Illinois, 84-75.
  21. No.1 Duke hammers No.9 Baylor, 89-63. I have to admit, back in the late 70's, before Coach K, who started at Duke in 1980, I was a Duke fan because I loved Jim Spanarkel's name. I was also briefly a fan of West Virginia, because they had a player named Kevin Pittsnogle, back in 2006. I cheered when Grant Hill heaved the court long pass to Laettner against Kentucky, and was a fan of Bobby Hurley, before he became incredibly annoying as the coach at ASU. Duke is going to be hard to beat this time.
  22. At the half, SEC No.2 Kentucky leads B1G No.6 Illinois 37-32
  23. Absolutely true. I didn't like the nonchalance this year's team showed with their great start. The come from behind wins could have been great, but instead it seemed to have instilled a false bravado. When UCLA beat them, in a close game, coming from behind; it could have been a "good loss" but I don't think they learned from it. Shelstad can hit, has hit, some big 3's. But, neither he, or anybody else on the team is a leader like Pritchard, or Brooks were. The closest this team has to that type of player is Bamba, but his struggles offensively this season negates that. This era of players doesn't have the same intensity, drive, for the name on the front of the jersey that past years had.
  24. You knew it was coming, but I truly think Oregon will win this game. The Big Ten season has prepared the Ducks for games like this, and I think the Ducks have matchup advantages over the Wildcats 1–5. What are the match-up advantages for the Ducks?
  25. Oregon women’s basketball’s season ends with 59-53 loss to Duke - Daily Emerald DAILYEMERALD.COM The No. 10-seeded Ducks (20-12) went to the Durham, North Carolina Regional looking to prove their worth and shock the...
