  1. 3 Playoff games this round, all of them decided by the visiting team kicking a game winning field goal as time ran out. Rams 30 Bucs 27. Congrats to McVay, it looked like the Rams were content with OT, but they go deep to Cooper Kupp, from EWU. He leads NFL receivers in catches, yards and touchdowns.
  2. A TD on 3rd and 20 to Cooper Cupp, 17-3 Rams, start of 2nd quarter.
  3. If the Ducks can get to 12-1, the only L being to Georgia in the 1st game, they'd have a good chance. The Committee loves re-matches.
  4. And I think that was the last game for Rodgers as a Packer. I predict he and Adams are Broncos next season.
  5. Absolutely. Helton proved that SC isn't coach proof. But Riley got OK to the CFP and a couple of Heisman winners. Leinart and Bush are happy again. Trojan fans and the SoCal 4's & 5's are front runners. Oregon and USC fighting for the CFP is the only chance the Pac-12 has to get on the invitation list
  6. Klovis is at Pitt, Dart is headed somewhere, who does SC West have at QB if Williams chooses LSU?
  7. He was the 49ers MVP yesterday. Today is a set up for a no repeat in the Super Bowl. The Rams will take out the Bucs, and the Bills eliminate the Chiefs.
  8. Exactly. The Women did their part, beating Washington, on the road. The Ducks haven't played since the win over the Trojans, while the Huskies beat the Beavers on Thursday. Currently the Bracketologists have Oregon playing in the First Four. It worked out fine for UCLA last year, but it would be better if the Ducks got out of there. So, they need to send Washington home, happy with their split. My Prediction" Oregon 77-65.
  9. I thought there was enough ground involved to make that an incompletion rather than an interception, but now it's 16-16, and Tennessee might miss that point now.
  10. We definitely don't "know" how a game, let alone a season, will go now. But from what we've been able to discern from their work histories prior to coming to Oregon, I'm more than satisfied that Lanning and his staff are not only up to the task of leading the Oregon football team, but excited to get started. What we have been able to see is how Lanning and staff have hit recruiting. Literally minutes after leaving Georgia's championship win, Lanning was on the phone with a highly coveted recruit. Nowhere in football now is an organized effort more important than in recruiting. Before I wondered why I'd see a note about a player being offered 2, 3 seasons before he's eligible. But now it's clear. Recruiting takes networking like any other sales job. Lanning and his coaches are contacting coaches and players now, getting ahead of the game.
  11. I'm seeing Riley getting closer to Carroll at USC than staying at Helton level, and that's good, as I also see Lanning getting the Ducks back to where Kelly had them. Throw in Utah to not make it easy for USC in the South and the Pac-12 is much the better.
  12. There are a lot of 4's and 5's visiting this weekend.
