  1. The players mentioned should excel this coming season, but there will be others shining as bright or even brighter. Flowe and Sewell should be on every list of top Ducks. They should record their best season results ever.
  2. I had quieted my stirrings with the axiom, "99% of things we worry about never happen". Chill. Since I am simply a fan, I'll observe as college football changes and the dust settles. I will watch the Ducks and their foes after that to see what is new and better (?). Somewhere along the timeline I am statistically likely to die given the probabilities for aging. Thank you David for articulating various premises throughout your article.
  3. Sirius ESPNU radio show Full Ride today talked about Media days saying the following, Chris Childers said "Kliavkoff was walking around like his best pig died at the county fair". He added further that, Kevin Warren was the happiest guy there and "dancing around like a little kid". Childers predicted that Warren and the Big Ten will expand with Stanford and Cal within two years. He reasoned that (1) Notre Dame is the ultimate prize, and Notre Dame's scheduling fits best with USC and Stanford, (2) Two more California schools fit best with USC and UCLA in the expanded B1G (3) Oregon and Washington do not help attract Notre Dame like Cal and Stanford do.
  4. WBB. By Brendan Savage | bsavage@mlive.com FLINT – Sarah Rambus of Flushing is going to continue her basketball career at the University of Oregon in 2023. Rambus, who had more than 35 college offers, made the announcement Friday on Twitter. The 6-foot-4 Rambus, who will be a senior next season, thanked her family and coaches, including Flushing’s Larry Ford for helping her develop into one of the state’s most highly recruited players. Schools that made offers to Rambus included Michigan, Michigan State, Alabama, West Virginia, Clemson, Maryland, Florida State, Texas A&M, Kentucky and North Carolina.
  5. Changes and evolution are ongoing. Welcome to all of the new volunteers. Thank you for your anticipated contributions. Let’s go Ducks!
  6. The coaches and player representatives are usually the main attraction of the media days. This year Commissioner Kliavakoff will have my attention more than the coaches or players. It is sad, but true that the governance of the conference, conference strategies, negotiations with other conferences and the negotiations for media rights make the coach and player conversations pale by comparison this year. Unfortuanately, we are unlikely to learn much about the big issues.

  11. Is TT's $25k competitive? How NIL influences Texas A&M football recruiting SPECTRUMLOCALNEWS.COM How NIL influenced this year's Texas A&M football recruits
  12. OT recruit McVay said: "Coach Dillingham, fun fact, was on that Auburn team that beat Bama in 2019 48-45 and that’s what -- the most points they put on Alabama ever? " I see many touchdowns in the Ducks future. Many in 2022. More in 2023. And yes, even more in 2024. Go Ducks. Go Dilly.
  13. More WR athleticism + Better offensive scheme and coaching + Better QB's = More offense and downfield strikes. Take it to the bank.
  14. Joshua highlighted big game head-to-head match ups. Most fans forecast a 9 or 10 win season in 2022. Optimists like me hope for an amazing 12-win perfect regular season. Every game is critical to that objective. The Ducks have had winning years where they stumbled once or twice and lost games they were capable of winning. Don't hold your breath, but wouldn't it be fun to watch the 2022 Ducks run the table? Go Ducks!
  15. I think we'll be OK Darren, as the Ducks will light it up, and play defense too.
  16. Ok, but I'm grateful and happy to have Dillingham. I hope that he stays at Oregon for five years or more.
  17. As Ducks fans, we should remember that Chip's offense and coaching elevated Oregon football to the national stage and title contention. Kelly is 58 years-old now. At the end of last season he was recognized with a two-year contract extension after reportedly surviving limbo. Chip Kelly's aledged disdain for recruiting and internal athletic department and university politics may prevent him landing a head coaching role at a top football program. Kelly is a coach by nature and vocation. I can imagine him finishing his career coaching at a lower ranked program or mid-major in a geography and situation he chooses. Another landing spot might be as an offensive coordinator for a title contending program. Or, Chip is an independent soul who marches to his own drummer. He has varied interests and long-time friends. Following his UCLA run he may simply walk away from football to pursue life in another realm.
  18. No pressure on Coach Dilly. With a room full of loaded guns, and a top defense too, why worry? Coaching is what he does. My take is this will be the funnest year of his life -- until next year! Go Ducks.

  20. According to Saturday Down South. 4. Oregon The program is in transition and has been since a Playoff appearance in 2014. Mario Cristobal’s 2 Pac-12 championships and a resurgence in recruiting brought some stability, but what happens now with new coach (and first-time head coach) Dan Lanning? The brand is strong and there are deep pockets behind it (see: Nike’s Phil Knight). Most appealing to the Big Ten (this will be a common theme): The university’s Association of American Universities status. Past 4 recruiting classes: 7, 12, 6, 13. Average: 9.5.
  21. Everyone say "Happy Birthday" to Charles as he shares his with the U. S A.
  22. Great news following several days of less favorable diatribe and events. Go Teitem. Go Ducks. Fly high with our flock.
  23. Win in life. Win in Football. Pay it forward. Inspirational.
