  1. I think Traeshon Holden was pretty good for us...
  2. Well, that was a dream first-half for Eagles fans. Can't hardly believe it, and neither can Mahomes.
  3. First drive a call on routine hand-fighting? Feels like the fix is in!
  4. Let's discuss before, during and after the game in this thread. Who is going to win and why?
  5. Good gosh, they were at a tournament to start the season this weekend and below are the scores.. 21-1 over Buffalo 18-6 over Southern Utah 16-2 over Southern Utah 10-6 over UNLV 8-1 over Buffalo A great start for the No. 23 Ducks, and expect they will do well in the B1G!
  6. This really hurts, as he is an elite recruiter. Thank goodness he has stacked the WR room for us before leaving!
  7. I would like this format, although...I am ready to go to 16 teams and be done with it. No byes for anyone, and the home games for the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds will generate a ton of money. And the price of poker in the B1G is going to go up. You could actually be the fifth team in the conference, and yet be in the top 16 as Illinois showed us this year. I believe that with the differences in the schedules--a fifth team out of both the two Super-Conferences might have a legit chance to catch fire in the Playoff. Thus why I would want two extra slots.
  8. "Tom-Tom" as they refer to him above is NOT a new verbal. He has been verballed to Oregon since October 13th... Tomuhini Topui | DuckSportsAuthority N.RIVALS.COM Tomuhini Topui - 2026 4 Star Defensive tackle for Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA) on Rivals.com
  9. We have discussed the purposeful and deliberate withholding of the offense for the Playoff often here... Time for the Temporal Causality Time-Loop again, and the USS Bozeman!
  10. As discussed many times...Gabriel got rid of the ball at the last instant a TON of times during the season. In the Rose Bowl--he did not have the deep routes available, thus with receivers much more easily covered in the mid and short zones--the Ohio State defense was able to get to Dillon due to WRs not being open. You know guys....if we want to keep doing this Star Trek Temporal Causality Time-Loop continuously-CAN DO! I'm expecting to see the USS Bozeman materialize soon...
  11. I guess we will continue to repeat the same stuff at each other...forever? Those are facts, yes. But it is also factual that Oregon has started very slow with a low output of points in the first half before and come back to win in the last two years under Stein. So, what do you guys suggest? We fire him over one half of play? This is bubbling up for me, as I was pretty torqued last year when we had one of the best offenses in the nation...the only team to score at least 30 points a game, but because we did not beat Washington--it was Stein's fault. We used to have a great OBD member and analyst in DazeNconfused who left when he fried me in private on the phone over Stein, and would not answer the question of..."how about the defense give up less than 30 points and we win?" Nope, it was all Stein's fault according to him. I did not ban Dazed, but he left on his own because I would not yield the point, and because he personally insulted me many times over the phone. I don't have to put up with that...over silly college football, but it was his mountain to die on. So now we have the 2024 season, and I see the same stuff...geez.
  12. Jordan is a professional journalist, and yet still writes for fun for us? Whew! Jordan...
  13. Isn't that a cool photo by Steven Chan? Thanks Jordan, for great overall update...
  14. Is that what Lanning wants? Will Stein had a reputation for throwing EIGHT bombs a game at UTSA before coming here. Yet with better personnel...he adapted his attack into one of the highest scoring offenses in the nation in 2023. And people complained then... We have gone over the long season, the consultation by Lanning with NFL coaches about retaining players through the grind, and retaining offensive surprises when you play 16 or 17 games. You don't show your whole playbook, and the Ducks were clearly holding a ton back--but could not capitalize without their best deep threat and a massive hole to climb out of. Remember my Duck-Buddies...EVERY TEAM but one in the Playoff ends their season with a loss, and the fans will complain at all eleven schools. The national champion finished with two losses, one of which was provided by Our Beloved Ducks.
  15. Right. That has happened to a TON of teams before in a first half, and yet the defense held the opposing team to a score that was within reach for a better second half. Not for this offense, not when the defense gave up 34 straight points... Take away the deep threat and the Buckeyes could crowd the mid and short zones....now DG had to hold the ball longer as nobody was getting open and thus the sacks. With a good defensive performance, and Evan Stewart available...this is a very different game--even with great plays by the osu2 offense. I never wrote Stein was irreplaceable, but the disrespect given to him considering what my eyes revealed to me over the season...and I wrote about in FishDuck articles, are unjustified, IMHO.
  16. More evidence of Husky Delusion... Are we on their mind?
  17. This is a new low...even for them!
  18. Pretty exciting stuff about 2025 Rivals 5-Star receiver Dakorien Moore from ESPN. One report on another site stated that, "I don't know why they didn't include Moore's timed speed. He ran a laser 4.34 and on the track in spring ran a 10.4 100. He is a freak." Ok, that makes two freaks between the other post about TE Jabari Johnson, and now Moore. Gotta love it!
  19. I got this below from an OregonLive article, and from another site. Looks like he is really going to be a weapon for us from the start! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “He’s a dog, point blank,” said Louisville quarterback Tyler Shough, formerly of UO. “What really stood out is in my career I think he’s probably had the best hands I’ve ever seen. I think coaches will see that, fans will see whenever he starts playing. He snagged almost every single ball, at least within his framework. Out of his framework, he’s got really good hands and he’s really athletic and big.” Tight ends coach Drew Mehringer also remarked about Johnson’s huge hands, which will be a weapon in the passing game and as a blocker. Shough guessed Johnson’s hands would measure between 10 and 11 inches. “He kind of started out bigger; he slimmed down and he’s always been athletic for his size,” Shough said. “He’s almost like a power forward. Now he’s running 21 miles an hour. He’s making these down the field plays where you expect a receiver to be go extending. Plus that with his hands. He was one of our best blockers too. I think he’s going to shock a lot of people." “He’s a freak and he was still a young kid, he was like 19 years old. I think for him, getting to a new spot, growing some more and learning that offense and I think it’s going to be huge. He was like our main guy we were trying to feed some stuff to until he got the (broken) fibula, which was similar to me. I was really close with him throughout that whole process and he was a huge loss for us.” With Terrance Ferguson and Patrick Herbert each moving on it was imperative for Oregon to add a tight end and Jamari Johnson is a former four-star recruit with three years of eligibility remaining. The 6-foot-5, 258-pound Johnson had 13 catches for 158 yards and one touchdown in seven games this season. “He was a kid that was really highly recruited out of high school that we wanted,” tight ends coach Drew Mehringer said. “Super excited he’s here. He’s enormous. Did a really good job over his first two seasons at Louisville at changing his body, becoming more athletic. Runs well; you can go watch him hurdle a guy in high school. Catches the ball really well." “Honestly has the biggest hands of anybody that I’ve ever met, maybe. When you shake his hand it like engulfs you, it’ll catch you off guard. ... It’s going to be a really good compliment to Kenyon (Sadiq). Roger (Saleapaga)’s banged up right now so it’s going to give Roger a little bit of time to heal and develop. Roger’s right on track and pace to be a really, really good player here. Jamari is going to be a really good player here too, but also help that gap bridge.”
  20. Does anybody really blame the offense for the Rose Bowl loss? Without our deep threat...the receiver who had a career game and WAS the difference in the first meeting with Ohio State at Autzen was injured? But wait...can't you still win with defense? Do you think being down 34-0 might have changed the game plan? Mucked things up? Oregon scored 21 points, right? Why not win 21-17 with a great defensive effort? Couldn't that happen? SHOULDN'T that happen? Oh yeah. Stein should be responsible for the defense too. Good thing his offense came to the rescue in the B1G Championship when the defense was porous.
  21. As you know we look at the total point off to determine the winner, and we have... Game Result: 40-22 Eagles GatOrlando: 27-17 Eagles for a total of 18 points off. BabyJesus: 31-29 Eagles for a total of 16 points off. Mr. FishDuck: 31-27 Eagles for a total of 14 points off. Winner! This looks pretty suspicious, and winning over so few entries is lame...But I never said I was noble! Thanks to everyone for playing through the football season, and we will have great fun in the fall of 2025! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello My OBD FishDuck Forum Friends! What is your prediction of Kansas City versus Philadelphia? Take your shot and let's have fun with it... Let's get these predictions started, and remember I look for the differential between your predicted points with both teams from the actual points. I will use the tiebreaker information when needed, so provide all the data below! Entries without ALL the information are invalid, and predictions on other threads don't count. And please check the other posts in this thread to prevent putting up the a score that has already been predicted. We had one week where four entries were the same score! Please follow directions, as I need all that is below for tiebreakers: --the winner --the score --the amount of turnovers Philly creates --the number of sacks Philly records on the Chiefs --the number of passing yards by the Chiefs My prediction is: Eagles 31-27 Philly creates two turnovers. Philly sacks Chiefs three times. Chiefs have 321 passing yards. I like the Chiefs, but have been a bigger Eagles fan over time...
