  1. Oregon WR verbal Isiah Mozee is a Rivals 4-Star receiver, and his dad now works at Nebraska? Not good... Although, when it comes to receivers--Oregon is loaded and Junior Adams can replace him. As it is, Oregon has four receivers in this class... Isaiah Mozee | DuckSportsAuthority N.RIVALS.COM Isaiah Mozee - 2025 4 Star Wide receiver for Lees Summit North (Lee's Summit, MO) on Rivals.com
  2. My FishDuck Friends....go down to post No. 12, and read from there to get today's update. If Pickett comes to Oregon....this is Duck Recruiting History we are witnessing, as it really is THAT big. ---------------------------------------------------------------- DJ Pickett is an insane athlete, and a true Rivals 5-Star, while McNutt is a Rivals 4-Star, but a dandy. The word is Miami and Cristobal are pulling on the Florida player hard, and he has family connections with the 'Canes as well. Yet many sources think he is simply building up the suspense for his Wednesday announcement to Oregon. I don't know which he goes, but if he commits to the Ducks...this will set a new recruiting record with three of the coveted Rivals 5-Stars in one year. Two of Oregon's five-star targets to announce in next week 247SPORTS.COM Two of Oregon's five-star targets DJ Pickett and Trey McNutt are set to announce college decisions soon.
  3. Agreed. The B1G schedule is going to be tough enough, no need to make it tougher with OOC games with teams we will face in the Playoffs. And yes, we will certainly play Alabama in the Playoffs in the near future, IMHO. No FCS teams on OOC, and frankly--the Pig-2 are taking enough from us. They do not deserve the revenue in playing us again. Say Bye...
  4. I cannot copy the entire article from 247 Sports, but below are a few juicy quotes... "What stands out to me is that there's a lot of top tier talent left on the board, especially in that top 32 conversation," Cooper Petagna said. 'The job that they have done from top to bottom I think just goes to show... that this is not a one-off. " "About those 16 commitments, 13 of those guys are in the top 247. So, 13 of their 16 are in the top 250 ranked nationally. If you're talking to Oregon fans about what they've done, it's been pretty incredible, just not only the quantity but the quality." "They have a very aggressive approach on the recruiting trail, but it's also very calculated. It's not irresponsible. What I mean by that is they're not out there trying to win the perception battle every year. They're very calculated about where they're recruiting and who they're going head-to-head with."
  5. "Saddest Party Ever" C'mon....you have to admit...that is FUNNY!
  6. Well look at this....Oregon is ALREADY helping the image of the B1G, and we have not played a game yet!
  7. Think that could help Hawaii recruiting? Portal Recruiting? If you look at his highlights...he threw a LOT of long balls for TDs, and that could be very fun at Autzen!
  8. Referring to the "Reject-Duo" as the Pac-12 is an abomination to the history of our conference.
  9. Ohio State has an incredible defense, so this is going to be quite the game.
  10. I gotta think your page is not refreshed, because I see everything as normal just now.
  11. Funny how when Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and Michigan win national championships, it’s perfectly fine, and nothing is said about NIL or money. But Oregon on the rise seems to bother a lot of people in high places…
  12. Any team who is paying NIL is buying recruits, so Oregon is not unique in paying NIL, but for so many assumptions that Oregon is "Buying" recruits is grounded in ignorance--as I've shown. The Ducks have not had the total package until Dan Lanning and Marshall Machow came along.
  13. I wish to emphasize to everyone that this is NOT a MONEY problem for Washington and USC! This is a management problem at USC, Oregon State, Washington...all of them. A coach at Washington begging for donations is insane... The greater Seattle area has the second most "Millionaire-Density" in the nation, with only Silicon Valley being higher. There are 130 families who worth over 100 million in the Seattle area, and there are 11 Billionaires. The money is there for Washington, and if they are not getting it? That is not Oregon's fault, but the management of Washington Athletics and the Development or Planned Giving Department at Washington. Don't hate Oregon because Division Street is organized, as now you are sounding like loser-Beavers who blame Oregon for the Beaver demise when their own inept athletic administration put them in this hole. Even their best suck-up journalist, John Canzano, has been urging the Pig-2 to upgrade their marketing, yet the fans of both those schools want to point their fingers everywhere but where it belongs. Remember the recent Forbes article about the schools with the richest ten Billionaires? Oregon was not on it, and while Phil Knight was worth 40 Billion--the top ten USC Billionaires were worth a total of 58 Billion--and the Trojans are complaining about money? Every school has plenty of rich alumni to turn to, but Oregon has been exceptional at organizing their efforts into a total package for recruiting. Anyone who claims it is only money is ignorant, and you should send them the link to this thread. For Crying Out Loud...Use Your Head!
  14. (I just posted this in another thread, but wanted to call attention to this issue, because we are seeing TONS of national articles asserting this, and this accusation will not go away. We all need to be informed of the truth, and convey it to our friends in the north and LA.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I just had a conversation with a Beaver fan...and addressed the "Oregon is buying recruits" assertion. It only takes five seconds to realize that...if Oregon only did it with money, then why didn't we get EVERY 5-Star recruit over the last three years that NIL has been legal? I asked him if he could answer that...and of course he could not. Dakorien Moore's mother was interviewed by Texas media, and she admitted to the press that "Oregon was not the highest NIL offer; it was close, but it was less." The information that has been coming from the pay-sites (who have inside access) over the last three years is that Oregon will almost never be the highest NIL offer, as the Ducks sell the total package to the recruit. Even then, we miss more than we acquire. It also only takes five seconds for someone to ask and figure out the answer to the question...."why is Oregon recruiting so well? Oregon has had money, brand, uniforms, and glitz for years....why now?" Well, let's see...what is different over the past? Could it be DAN LANNING and his staff? I had never heard of the new running back coach Ra'Shad Samples before, and he was instrumental in the recruitment of both recent 5-Star recruits--and he has only been in Eugene a few months? This is incredible hiring by Lanning, as he and the staff ARE the difference from before. I do not care for implications that Oregon buys recruits when it only takes five seconds to think it through, and understand how that is not true.

  16. It is actually a spin on her part. Nobody has questioned that they cannot compete in the past, but this is all about eyes on the program and on television. Their brand and their audience was found wanting by every power conference. The question she will not address is, “why are these two schools blaming everyone else for their predicament? “
  17. Said Ryan Leaf: “You’ve kept the Pac-12 brand and they’re going to come scrambling back.”
  18. But if Washington had the money...it would be different--right?
  19. Oregon commit Alai Kalaniuvalu rated as a Top 3 all-time commitment at IOL at Oregon 247SPORTS.COM Oregon's most recent commit is one of the best in program history One of the best interior offensive lineman to verbal? Whew!
  20. Surprisingly...in the tougher Rivals rankings--Oregon is No. 3! Do look at the few number of verbals for the ranking compared to other teams...
  21. My FishDuck Friends....what is happening at Washington is simply unbelievable, as I know financial professionals who work in Seattle due to all the Tech and business people worth more than 10 million. Microsoft, Amazon, Starbucks, etc. makes this area one of the richest on earth. And they are not tapping it? That is an organizational problem, a management problem of their Planned Giving Office, not a shortage of money out there. Washington, USC, and Oregon State do not have the robust organization that Oregon does, and as fans--we are very fortunate. Imagine a coach begging for donations!
  22. If Fisch begging for NIL donations-huh! I wonder why DeBoer left for Alabama? My concerns for Washington NIL...
  23. You know, we are just fans watching, but it sure makes you appreciate the people putting together things like Division Street for Oregon... I'm sure they'll figure it out...
