Hello My OBD FishDuck Forum Friends! What is your prediction of the Super Bowl of the Philadelphia Eagles versus the Kansas City Chiefs? Take your shot and let's have fun with it... Lets get these predictions started, and remember I look for the differential between your predicted points with both teams from the actual points. I will use the tiebreaker information when needed, so provide all the data below! Entries without all the information are invalid, and predictions on other threads don't count as I am not going to hunt them all down. Please follow directions, as I need all that is below for tiebreakers: Note the changes with the Tiebreakers! --the winner --the score --the number of passing yards by the Chiefs. --the amount of rushing yards by the Eagles --Your Offensive MVP? Tough Breaks for Utah...

Agreed. He, Utah and their coach--I do respect and admire. They've been to two Rose Bowls in two years--better than us, but we will give it a go!

Mens Basketball is "Getting There," Right?

I agree; get it inside and let the bigs score (higher FG percentage) or get fouls. Or they kick it out to open shooters.... And please don't play Soares much...

Mens Basketball is "Getting There," Right?

Is it too late for the Mens team? It sure seems to me that we are seeing the team we should have watched in late November, but could not due to injuries. When jelled, this could be a very good team, and we are seeing the components mesh together now. Great to see Will Richardson at off-guard, score in double-figures, but also be able to drive and dish assists. Keeshawn Barthelemy at shooting guard and Jermaine Couisnard at point guard have changed everything in the backcourt, and of course seeing N'Faly Dante blow-up is great fun. Kel'el Ware is finally beginning to contribute as we know he could, and Nate Bittle has grown into an important part of the team and thus I think this group still have 30% upside left. Do you? Will we have enough opportunities to see it?

Oregon Fans Should Brace for Lanning’s Mudslinging Strategy

Another reason for the mudslinging, is that I do believe that Lanning will adopt the Georgia strategies of “De- Recruitment,” and making this a very hard program. Great Georgia players leave every year, including starters, and as one fan said, “it grinds you up and spits you out, or turns you into a diamond.” You have to recruit a ton of players to find out who has the mental and physical strength to rise to the top of all of it.

Oregon Fans Should Brace for Lanning’s Mudslinging Strategy

This defense actually requires three freaks on the field in the Money linebacker, and the Star defensive back, but I wanted to point out the freak athlete we are the farthest from solving, the Jack. This is one reason why I believe the new defense install will take 3-4 years…

		Kliavkoff Meeting With SMU Tomorrow

Agreed. The Big-12 is not 12 teams, and the B-10 is not ten teams. It is trendy to not match your name... Or go UNLV for upside if you must add one.

		Canzano: Pac-12 Expansion Ramps Up

When writers cite this stuff--it is the media metric being used, but it is WRONG. That same metric shows a very low media market in Oregon, yet the Ducks are No. 7 in the world for global fans. The metric used for SMU is the Dallas market, when there are NOT 3 million people watching Mustang football, otherwise the 32K stadium would be a lot larger. This use of media market size is deceptive and inaccurate to me on both sides of the spectrum as I've demonstrated. Sure. They know what they're doing...

		Kliavkoff Meeting With SMU Tomorrow

We do not need to add a team (SMU) that has a stadium that holds 32,000 and we have to fly eight hours to play in it? We don’t need another OSU or WSU, at an enormous distance away… Sonny Dykes left SMU and went to TCU because they did not have the support and the upside that the Horned Frogs did.

What Are Your REALISTIC Expectations for Next Year?

10-2 with losses at Washington and it is very, very hard to win in SLC against the Utes. Catch an 11th win in a bowl, and that is my dream. But the Pac-12 teams will tweak each other....

Streaming Games: Rough Waters or Gently Down the Stream?

I really think the FIVE Million Oregon fans globally that cannot get the Pac-12 channel currently will ultimately make streaming games profitable for the Pac-12 and Oregon.

The Transfer Portal Makes Dreams Come True

What a fun feel-good story of another lightly-regarded Sheldon High School quarterback coming to Oregon. Great take to help us see it from the players' perspective Darren, as it makes us root for those stories all the more. Sheldon's Ryan Walk

		Coaching Staff Differences

In my fantasy--Dan Lanning will be here until he wins a 'Natty. Then, he won't go to another college program because Oregon has never won one, thus he proved his college chops doing it here. I believe that when he leaves--it will be to take on the brightest minds in the NFL.

		Coaching Staff Differences

The model of what we had under Belotti where coaches were here for 10 and 15 years is over. You do not hire coaches these days, you RENT them, and tell them they are either fired for poor performance or they will move up. It is the new reality that we as fans have to adjust to. That Lanning has had two coaches moved up from where they were to coordinator and head coach and another going to the NFL goes to show how good at recruiting of coaches he actually is. The best at it, Nick Saban, has ridiculous turnover nearly every year. It is the way of the world, and you could have mediocre guys on board for a long time, or you could have a turnover of extremely good talent. What is your choice?

Trojan, Bruin Players Will Regret the Move to the Big-10

An element I did not cover in the article is how, in a few years when the athletes realized they are being used--being in the B1G will be used against USC and UCLA in recruiting, if not sooner. These issues are very real, and a player doesn't have to to live with it. (Makes it easier to come to Oregon?) Athletes Don't Like to be Played...

Mario Lost His OC, and now his Defensive Coordinator Too?

Only Mike Riley (to Nebraska) can fail upward as good...
