Our Beloved Ducks currently have 10 verbals with half or five, being 4 or 5-Star rated recruits at Rivals. If this trend continues, (and I believe it will) then when Oregon gets to 25 verbals, we should have 12 of the coveted 4 or 5-Star players. If that happened, then the Ducks would break into the Top Ten ,or be pretty darn close if you look at last year's final standings or those of 2021. Now my preference would be closer to 14 of them, but if we have a 5-Star or two among the 12--we could break in there as well. I believe that the longer Lanning and this staff are here--the higher we will rise in the rankings no matter what conference we are in! Jurrion Dickey

Can merging/joining the Big-12 improve our current projected income of 30 million a year? If so, it should be looked at. If not, then what? I don't see how things for the Pac-10 can continue this way...

I am warming to the idea of some type of merger with the Big-12. Although I am fatiguing of reading and discussing the hundreds of variables, and am now ready to accept whatever comes along and make the best of it. If it is the Big-12...then I think we could have some great games of superb entertainment. But I am sure we would have to cut some sports, especially with a travel budget that will go through the roof whether we are with the B1G or Big-12.

This was a 4th down play at the goal line just before halftime that was stuffed in the National Championship game of 2010. Had he gone outside as the play was designed for--we score and change the game. He went inside...(orange line) And if the QB pulled and went left--I think he would have scored as well. The coaches can draw up the play, but the players need to execute. (And Dyer was down)

The only solution I see to that is pouring the same amount of money into football that the B1G/SEC teams do, but that means we have to cut sports. We would go from 19 sports...way down. It would be the only way to stay competitive in football I believe, and boy will our travel costs go up!

This is BIG, BIG, BIG! Between him and Cole Martin...we have two really good lock-down Rivals 4-Star corners in this class! He was offered by Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas, UCLA, USC and Washington! (He is from Washington Power program Rainer Beach! Whew!) He might end up being the best of this class...

There is a ton of very good information here....how much we lost when the LA schools left, why we will never partner with Boise State, and where Oregon is trying to go. And yes...Phil is active helping us!
