  1. What happened? Only watching game cast.
  2. Rooting for Florida and Wake Forest to pull up the upsets.
  3. Good enough to allow a 192 yard rusher against Oregon. It will be interesting to finally give a teams like BSU the chance to prove them self rather than the 3 loss SEC team getting the benefit of the doubt and taking their spot in the playoffs. Could a 3 lost team win the national championship, Yes. Should a team that only lost to the number one team in the nation by 3 points get a shot at proving that they belong, absolutely.
  4. The refs where calling the game tight last night and Evans picked up some pretty ticky tacky fouls that slow him down and kept him on the bench. I agree he doesn't quite have the power of a elite 4 man and seems to get tangled up in crowds but so did Angel last night. Shelstad shots 5 for 19 and can be really hot and cold. I would like to see him drive and dish the ball more as he can attract a lot of attention and get overwhelmed at the rim. This team is interesting, lots of pieces with a noticeable lack of big guys down low but better overall size. It's all about how well they gel and play team ball not much of that last night till the end of the game.
  5. That was an ugly game but I like how they stuck with it and rallied for the win.
  6. Overtime as Oregon veterans step up. Portland shooting 11 for 26 from 3
  7. Barthelemy coming up big! He was looking good before he got hurt last year. Someone needs to step up and he's answering the call
  8. 4-25 from 3 the next guy who takes a 3 should ride the pine for the rest of the game.
  9. The Ducks are shooting 4-19 from 3. They really need to drive the ball if there that cold from outside.
  10. I'm not seeing any power down low and don't know where that is going to come from. Not loving the jacking up 3s with out better ball movement.
  11. Looks like the freshmen grew up a lot both physically and mentally. Not loving the effort on D but it looks like these guy are going to need some games under their belt to gel.
  12. First game I'm going to watch this year, can't wait to learn the roster!
  13. FYI weather forecast for Madison Wisconsin on Saturday 55 and cloudy.
  14. I feel like Lanning wanted to give his guys a fun game that wasn't super intense. He is doing something different this year on the player management front. The Ducks are going to play more games than they ever have in one season. I believe he's trying to keep the players sharper for longer and not burn them out with pure intensity ever game. These young adults have a ton of pressure on them and if you don't give them a "fun game" occasionally the mental stress can be worse than the physical stress. With my kids it's important to keep it fun during a long season of sports even if that means taking a little heat for not scoring 50 points every game.
  15. Is there any way all the SEC could all have 3 losses that would be great!
  16. I could be wrong but I believe keenum only actually played 4 years I'm not even sure if he started those four years. DG has had quite a few more games under his belt, not saying he is in an excellent QB. I'm with Cartm25 on this one, it's not that I don't want DG to win and I do think he's an excellent quarterback/game manager it's just that he isn't leaps and bounds better than anyone else at his position on the field. Maybe they should just make it a QB award and just call it good. Was Barry Sanders more important to his team than Troy Aikman was to his? The argument that he hasn't played against a anyone good or he's in a weaker conference is exactly what they used to always say about Oregon when the Heisman was being considered. My personal Heisman test is would every team in the country fall over themselves to have him on their team. I could say yes to Jeantry where DG I would say most would but not all.
  17. I wouldn't trade DG for Jeantry either a good QB is more valuable than an amazing RB just look at the pay difference in the NFL. As for getting rid of his two longest runs you can pretty much make anyone look pedestrian doing that. Just take an equal amount of explosive players away from DG and his number will fall drastically as well.
  18. Jeantry would do just fine or maybe better in the P4, he put up some amazing number against the Duck stout D. 24 carries for 192 yards and 3 TDs that's an average of 7.7 yard a carry. I don't think any other RB has come close to doing that to the Ducks. He's the most worthy stand out athlete of this year by far.
  19. Thank you and the other moderators for doing an amazing job! Truly a one of a kind site.
  20. I will be happy to see him as the punt and kick returner, he has solid hands. He's definitely had flashes as a WR and having him as an option and not a necessity is a great position to be in.
  21. I know he's not as highly rated as Moore but I like the looks of Novodad. There's something about his leadership and body language that just feels more polished.
  22. I feel like Whittingham may have read this forum this week and he decided to put that debate to bed.
  23. Nah he's good where he's at although it would be intriguing to see him play it at a higher level.
  24. I'm m also excited to see the growth of the rookies in their second year. Also Bartholomew was really starting to look good last year before his injury and could be a big contributor on both ends of the court. Biggest worry is down low with only Bittle although I really liked the small ball approach early last year. Can't wait for some basketball!!!
