Without a consistant pass rush any secondary will struggle to stop the forward pass. I believe our secondary last couple years wasn’t the problem but got blamed a lot. That being said I to believe that overall QB talent in the B1G isn’t as competant as that of the pack. We surely are about to find out if our D can keep pace. Our offense surely will.

It’s hard to get in condition when the players are constantly battling injuries. Rehab isn’t the same as playing condition.

The discrepancy in strength is a huge factor the farther you get from the basket. That being said Sabrina is the strange Duck in the pond. She and Pritchard made us all proud to be a Duck. Both never stoped playing whether on defense or offense. Totally amazing players that never seemed to get tired.

DA might have become weary of recruiting and trying to coach these young kids who can’t and won’t play the defense like he likes to coach. Sign of the times I guess. He gave us some great years and some sweet memories. He was a great mentor for a lot of young kids. Heck of a coach.

Maybe time for a coaching change. The Beavs are bad at best. Should win this game by a minimum 12 pts.

I remember back in the day when the As sported cool uniforms and I loved it. Didn’t root for them at all but they did look good on the field.

The NCAA, driven by network appetite for more revenue, shortened the game by running clock after after first downs. I don’t have the figures but to me the games seemed much longer to me because watching commercials that continue to seem longer drive me crazy.

I believe if Moore would have come to Oregon in the first place and sat behind Bo and learned from him that his career would be way ahead of where it is now. Learning your craft as a freshman and being successful in the process is rare indeed especially with a questionable O-line in front of you. The Ducks are lucky to have another shot with him and he has the talent. Throws a nice ball, is elusive in the pocket, and runs well when he takes off. If he improves his reads and goes thru them at a quicker pace he could be a quality backup this year and a starter this year or next, time will tell. IMO the Ducks are loaded in the QB room and the coaches should be salivating and the possibilities it presents. With physical defenses we will be facing this season a quality backup is a must.

My takes from the game. The best QB usually wins in tight games and even though Mahomes got off to a strange beginning he won down the stretch. Niners defense was tougher than I thought and played well for the most part until fatigue set in. The over/ under was 47.5, how does Vegas know this stuff? The first half Purdy had all day to throw but Cheifs secondary was really good. Mcaffreys girlfriend is better looking than Kelce’s. Didn't know Kelci has temper tantrums. Tony Romo is tough to listen to. Best Super Bowl I’ve seen since the Pittsburgh / Dallas game back in 1979. 66 points were scored on 2 really good defenses. Pitt won 35 / 31. Why is watching other teams misery so much fun for Duck fans. Answer might be because we went through the same crap in Eugene Starting with Slick. I think we might be getting a bit cocky. Naaa!
