  1. So far the Ducks look very good to say the least. Bo is throwing dimes.
  2. Very nice start indeed. Bo was on target.
  3. I was a Bo fan when he was with Auburn. He was faced with coaching problems the Ducks never had even with slick and mc. The tigers had turned into a mess. I loved the fact he was coming to Eugene and so did he.
  4. Although TT has a great arm and can be slippery running the ball he seems to lack the ability to play the position. Ty is a good example of inaccurate star ratings at the high school level. Herbert and MM were rated far lower than TT. Go figure.
  5. Although baseball can be a grind, getting drafted in the nfl is tough business. Hope he finds his nitch whichever it may be. But if you you can hit a 95 mile per hour fast ball that is darting all over the place do it. Being good 1/3 of the time will make you tons of money in MLB.
  6. Don’t know the answer to this but I wonder if Wit is Abel to hang on to his staff for many seasons. Seems like the Ducks are always chasing assistant coaches. This could make the difference. I expect Jon will know the answer if you get on this morning.
  7. Most people that have been around sports all their lives are very intense, myself included. It’s entirely possible that the Mutt game has caused some sleepless nights for our young head coach. Understandable for sure. Dan knows he has made some mistakes and he probably would have done some things different now that he knows the outcome. If he becomes a touch more conservative I can totally get it. His goal is to win the rest of his games this year with a bunch of young men one at a time. The pack is toughest it’s ever been and we all know that. I doubt if the muts can stay undefeated the next five games. Some very tough outs ahead for them. Heck Dan may still have a belly ache since the mut game. I know I do. He is after all human and still very young. Hope he stays here a very long time and wins a lot of games and never looses to the muts again.
  8. I didn’t realize uncle Phil was so big! 😂
  9. As far as the 💩 muts are concerned it’s hard for me to picture them winning out. Stanford is a gimme but Utah, SC, OS, and WSU are all quite capable of beating the mutskys.
  10. If it is true that other teams come out more aggressive then is a simple reaction is to make them pay for their aggression. Wide receiver screens and runs parallel to the line of scrimmage are not the way to do it. Passes to tight ends and crossing routes however are. So far we’ve been predictable to start. Taking advantage of aggressive defenses has always been attacking them.
  11. Great wake up call for #8 by #88. I could watch that 40 times. I’ll bet WSU coach used it more than once.
  12. Seems to me that our struggles inside the 20 is far to many (dumb) penalties by our offensive line and other miscues. Seems to happen in most games. Offensive lineman down field or false start or holding or missing a field goal or going for it and failing on 4th down. Take care of these problems and our red zone offense will put more points up. A lot more points.
  13. Let’s face it, road games are a struggle for the ducks. We start slow and seem to play catch-up later in the game. A huge test coming up next week. Utah will be a tough out at home so we better be ready to play at the opening bell. And please no more wide receiver screens. We need to run and pass down hill.
  14. Why does our offensive line get so many penalties in the red zone.
  15. Is it just me, it seems like WSU is milking the clock down almost every play..
  16. I’ve seen this ref crew too many times. They are referability challenged.
  17. Keep throwing the ball down the field until they stop it. Our receivers are open every play.
  18. I’ll say it again. Can’t teach speed. Fast is fast
  19. In this era of offenses lighting up the score board there are 2 ways of beating these high powered offensive teams. Either out score them with lots of points in a shoot out or defend them enough to slow them down.
  20. I guess these non calls bug me because how in the world can the refs miss calls when the player hit is the one with the ball which is what most of the refs are watching. It is common that they miss the ones off the ball but on the ball is Bull Poop.
