Just Ducky

We are getting beat at the point of attack on both sides of the ball. Big question for me is can the Ducks win a pack game this year. Not looking good.

We waited for many months to see this defense and they are having trouble with Tyler Schuck. Can’t tackle him and if not for some dropped passes by wide open guys we would be behind. Hopefully the coaches can get this figured out.

Pennix and Williams will be licking their chops when they see this defense.

Our defensive line is totally gassed already.

Mike, you probably noticed as have I that MarinoO might as well put a guard at tight end. WS will use his tight ends like modern nfl tight ends. He has a great one in Ferguson and I expect he will use him often this season.can’t wait. Looked like Herbert will get some action as well.

I do believe that Bo doesn’t need a play caller. He’s been around long enough to call his own plays. Lots of factors to consider when calling plays but feel for the game might be the most important one.

Actually Wilson was on his way to winning that game but he ran out of clock.

Obviously the most underpaid guy in the buildig. To be honest I can’t count that high.

TCUs secondary couldn’t stop my grandson. Bo should tear this group up. Stien will be licking his chops looking at the game film. Our secondary looked pretty good for the most part and if we can develop a pass rush by next week we should win going away.

Been quite for a while but that stops know. Game ball goes to Will Stien and Puddles. No offensive penalties the first half and a game plan even Nick would be worried about and want to change the rules for. And let’s be honest, can you do that many push ups in a three hour span in that suit. very impressive. A for Bo, looked good for the whole time he was in. Missed one deep ball but that’s ok. A for Bucky and the rest of the skill players, didn’t see many bone head plays. The skill position guys look extremely good with plenty of depth. A+ for the offensive line. No dumb penalties and pretty damn good blocking. B+ for the defense even though that first drive was pretty bad but the rest of the game was not what we are used to lately. B for special teams. Way improved. A+ for the rally girls as always. Mind boggling. A for the coaches with no glaring mistakes. A for the beer selection. B+ for the back ups, I wish the coaches would let them toss it deep once in a while. I realize this was PSU and they earned every dollar they got with an embarrassing defeat. I wish the backup players would have started the second half but I know why. In summation it was a great day for Duck football on opening week.

Sorry, kinda bland.

My take on transfers is very few teams can make it without them. Some guys like Mazo, Bo, Gonzo, and others are hidden gems you can not overlook. Some of these guys DL is acquiring are NFL bound and are only costing themselves money if they don’t over achieve. Even Sabin plucks up transfers now and again. IMO DL and his guys are doing a great job so far on this and I’m excited about it. Most media, so called, experts are busy reading each other’s articles and get a lot of the information from each other. Do most of them know? I think not or they would all get rich gambling on sports instead of writing some of the articles we continually pick apart. Bottom line is win all the games your supposed to win and some you are not and you will be successful.

Heck the Beavus couldn’t even keep this hometown gem going.

And that Jon is exactly why little brother and their fans are so jealous and hate The Ducks as much as they do.

Too bad these colleges can’t sue the networks for collusion and loss of revenue because of their own greed.

It looks to me that the Duck defense will need to be deep with talent. A lot of mobile QBs in the pack that we will be chasing around the field. We will need to get off the field early on D and control the pace of games on offense to be successful. So far all reports are good about the defense and the offense should be able to maintain what they accomplished last year. Can’t wait for things to get started.

I know I’m pounding a dead drum here but I’m still pisd at mnoO for continually pounding an undersized running back into the back of his offensive lineman’s legs against a 7 or even 8 man front. Dumb and stubborn is the only way to describe. Not to mention while having a Heisman QB on his roster. Mind boggling for sure. Sorry I thought I was done pounding on this guy but an opportunity knocked so I opened the door.
