Just Ducky

The players for usuc haven’t changed. They probably make the same mistakes they’ve been making and coming to Autzen is no picnic. The Ducks should be able to handle them but you never know. Please no more wide receiver screens for 3 yards or less. Very risky play in my opinion compared to the reward.

I will always remember what KB did to Usuc at home a few years back and I would love to see Bucky top that performance.

I think we can say that that young man is focused. We are lucky to have him.

Pack? Network is the only one I don’t get.

There are only 2 teams in the top 20 that are not on a major network today and they both reside in the Pack? Talk about disrespect. And schedule and time slots are changed all the time so I don’t see a problem. Only problem is the pack? Network.

I’ve stated many times on this site my disgust and frustration of the p? Network. One of the many reasons that this great league of champions will be dissolved. Once again the powers at be have relegated the Ducks game behind the door that is shut for so many fans. There is no reason in the world why this should be happening to any top 10 program.

Guess what! No pack 12 network games. Hurray !

The odds of us getting this quality of QB in the portal were incredibly low. Luck is a good thing to have.

I’m not one to get too far out over my skis, but I can’t disagree with any of this.

FYI No of games each team will play or have played against ranked opponents. Not including playoff games. Oregon 5 Mutts. 4 Georgia 4 Texas. 4 Alabama. 4 Ohio State 3 Penn St. 3 Mich. 2 Florida St. 2 Oklahoma 2 In my opinion if the Ducks win out how could you keep them out!

Nice to see all these young studs being assembled in Eugene. The kids seem to be buying in on what the coaches are teaching them by their comments during interviews. My hope for the future is to hang on to our assistants for more than a year so we can build a consistent program. If the players and coaches are having fun and winning I think they may not jump ship quite so eagerly as in the past. The last few years has been filled with turmoil and it seems to be heading away from that. As a fan I know I will enjoy not worrying about defection if Dan can accomplish his goal. There will be up and down years but as long as the bar keeps going up things will stay bright in Eugene.

Lots of Mormons live in Oregon, I grew up in a neighborhood full of them. Two of my best friends in high school were Mormons and trust me they were always well behaved. One of them would even drink beer with me. There is usually a bad egg in every carton and sometimes athletic events bring out the crazy in some. All in all they’ve always treated me with respect and I always return the favor. Hope they win out.

Just win games. It’s obvious that the strength of scheduling doesn’t matter and never has.

I have some pretty rabid Duck and Beavus friends that have said some things that have embarrassed me including myself. Hard to admit it but I also can be an ars at times. Part of being a fan I guess. Lord how I try not to be that guy but it doesn’t always work and is the reason I watch the games at home sometimes. My poor wife has to put up with me. I love her for that.

I agree with Hauler of logs. Georgia is number one until someone beats them but loosing the best player in the nation might be their Achilles Heel.

I don’t know a Duck fan that hates The Utes. Hate to loose to them YES. Their fans are humble and their coach seems to be a nice guy and says the write things. I always root for them to win except when they play the Ducks or Beavus. I’ll be honest here I Hate the mutts and the spoiled brats in LA far more than I dislike Beavus. And now I can’t stand Colorado whom I liked till Prime ruined that place.

Bo might be a better QB than Marcus or Dennis. Dixon was unbelievable in college just ask Nick Sabin he was scared to death of that kid but for an injury he gets a Heisman and a natty. Bo has yet to prove he’s better than those two guys but he has a chance to do it and I think he will. Go Bo

Definition of the Heisman. Most outstanding football player CFB. Great ability, excellence, integrity, diligence, perseverance, and Hard work. Sounds like Bo to me. Just saying.

I’m with Fred weather will be perfect for the game and the mutts won’t have the advantage they had with the Ducks. The field was wet up in Seattle and our guys slipped many times. I’m sure we had the wrong Cleats in that game. SC has to win this game and if Williams does what I think he can do they will win in a high scoring affair. A tie would be excellent but won’t happen. PS I hate both teams. but I will be watching.

Henry’s was part of our portfolio back in the day. We sold way more Henry’s than we ever did blitz. Lake Oswego area it was Huge.

One stat that hasn’t got much play is the Ducks had 1 negative play the entire game, not counting penalties, and the Utes had 8. That is a large deficit for a team to overcome. These negative plays are coming from all over the field and make viewing the game incredibly fun. Coaching against this defense is a recipe for lost sleep. I hope our D keeps the foot on the gas thru eternity. Go s

It seemed to me that Bo changed plays several times in that game. Let’s face it having a coach on the field that plays QB is a huge advantage. Bo is doing a very good job of that at the line of scrimmage.

I’ll say this again. TP12N has cost the conference more viewership failures than any other single thing and I can’t wait for it to end. Once again some of us will have to travel late in the day to the local pub (darn the luck) or turn on the SEC network and watch for free. Thanks LSL. Getting back to the topic at hand, the Ducks win out and win the conference championship on a neutral field they would be in. If strength of schedule does matter, which doesn’t seem to with the playoff committee, then the Ducks are in. Just win baby!

The players on the field know who the better team is, they live it and feel it. The mutts were very luck to win at home and it quite possibly weakened their confidence and it has showed in the last two games. I doubt if the mutts want to play the Ducks again in a neutral environment on a dry field, I think the players all know who the best team is. It is also quite possible that the mutts could loose 3 games once they hit the gauntlet ahead for them.
