  1. Can't I just take the under on both teams to lose to each other?
  2. Good pick! Now pull the starters!
  3. Ducks 38-13 2 TO 2 Sacks 290 Yards
  4. Horrible human error. The refs are lucky this wasn't played in Minnesota or that replay would've been on every screen in the stadium a thousand times over. NFL and College should allow reviews of all penalties after the 2 minute warning/timeout. The amount of parity, especially in college now, means games will come down to the wire far more often than ever before. Refs can't and won't be able to catch everything, but when it's this egregious and still missed, there needs to be an opportunity for review.
  5. Clay Helton currently has a better record and a better shot (small as is may be) at getting Georgia Southern into the playoff than ol' Linc does
  6. Are they feeling buyer’s remorse yet!? Maryland football rallies to stun USC, 29-28 WWW.BALTIMORESUN.COM After the Terps blocked a field goal attempt, Billy Edwards Jr. ran for a touchdown with 53 seconds left for an improbable win...
  7. Time for Sadiq to eat!
  8. Our best defensive player was hurt, our most dangerous offensive weapon that game got kicked out. Where are our excuses?! FYI, Derick Harmon was tearing that ball out of The Rock's hand if he was in on that play. He was not going to be denied. Ohio State Running Back Quinshon Judkins Reportedly Undergoes Hand Procedure, Not Expected to Miss Time WWW.ELEVENWARRIORS.COM Quinshon Judkins reportedly underwent a hand procedure this week but is not expected to miss any game time.
  9. Ducks 48-23 3 TO 4 Sacks 326 Passing
  10. Cam Rising looks like the disguise Baker Mayfield wore when he punked his fans. He could play in the U37 league and no one would bat an eye!
  11. The sheer amount of sleepless nights this will induce in opposing coaches who will now have to wonder what else Lanning and Co. can think up in each game is the real chess move. As if a coach already doesn't have enough on his plate as it pertains to X's and O's; he now has the knowledge in the back of his mind that our coach is not only great at learning on the job, but legitimately pushes himself and his staff to know more than you! Might as well start drawing up plans for the statue.
  12. Ducks 31-27 2 TO 3 Sacks 250 Passing Yards
  13. Now let's back that up with a W! ESPN College GameDay's Kirk Herbstreit Names Oregon Ducks' Campus His 'Favorite' WWW.SI.COM The Oregon Ducks and Ohio State Buckeyes meet in massive showdown Saturday night at Autzen Stadium. The No. 3 ranked Ducks and No. 2 ranked Buckeyes are each 5-
  14. If the offensive line continues to come together like they have been, and Gabriel takes better care of the ball, this offense is lethal. Get Jordan James over 125 yards on the ground Saturday and I really like our chances. Between his strong running and DG's legs, the passing attack could be killer when the time comes.
  15. Ducks 41-13 4 TOs 3 Sacks 320 Pass Yards
  16. This is NCAA's own fault for not creating a better framework for NIL to be more controlled. It is basically the wild west right now when it comes to this stuff in college. They want it to be closer to the NFL? well the League has contracts and bargaining agreements that both protect players and penalize them when they violate said agreements. This should be an automatic forfeiture for this year of eligibility as well as the scholarship and any NIL collective money that the school may have provided. Any time money is exchanged for services rendered there needs to be proper legal language to back that up.
  17. This is no longer the concern for me that it once was. They look like they have figured out a line that works even without Bedford. I only recall seeing him in for one offensive possession during the Civil War and that was after the game was already in hand. I think as long as they can continue to refine this line-up they can let Bedford get himself as near 100 as possible before tOSU.
  18. With a 12 team playoff field, the margin of error has grown to where a loss isn't suddenly the end of the world. One could argue that a loss could be the medicine needed for THIS team. I am not advocating that it should become the norm for a team to experience adversity in the form of a loss in order to finally start clicking. However, I do believe that this team has bought in too hard to the pre-season hype. They need a chip on their shoulders. The OL needs to play like their season depends on it every game. I do think that with time, Lanning will become good at being able to manufacture this type of playing attitude. However, this 2024 team doesn't seem to have fully bought into that just yet. A loss early on could very well be the thing to right this ship in time for tOSU, Michigan, Wisconsin, and prove the doubters that we are ready for the B1G.
  19. Seems like the trend at Nike the past few years has been more towards the monochromatic look. Big main colors with smaller accents rather than the flair of the middle 2000's. Still, I'm pretty confident they have more combinations to reveal. I remember the teaser from back in spring showing a design board with lots of line items on it.
  20. They knew they were working with a left handed QB since before spring practices. IMO they chose to put the guys in place to protect his blind side back in April. They have been practicing this way for 5 months. I think the switching of positions to account for Bedford's absence is the bigger issue. I don't like that there isn't a #2 that can slide into his place and leave the rest of the line intact. For all the talk about the depth of the team this season, you would think this would give us the ability to keep Poncho at center and replace the Bedford with the next man up. This won't be the last time we lose a man on the line for a game this season...
  21. Former Oregon football QB Ty Thompson scores 2 TDs in Tulane opener AUTZENZOO.COM Former Oregon football quarterback Ty Thompson scored a couple of touchdowns in Tulane's season opener on Thursday.
  22. He figured if they had enough stars he wouldn't have to develop anyone!
  23. Ty Thompson's talent on high school film reminded me a lot of Vince Howard from Friday Night Lights. He seemed to excel at improvising and doing whatever he wanted after the ball was snapped; in terms of getting it to playmakers. However, when he moved into the structure of a D1 offensive system which required him to make the plays that were called, he seemed to lose himself in the schematics. It seems like he has a lot of trouble reading a playbook, the game hasn't slowed down for him in 4 years.
