Mickanen's Article a Sensible Analysis for Ducks Going Forward
chrisjenn99 replied to Mic's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
It felt a lot worse than it was I think. In person it felt like watching The Passion of The Christ at times. Since arriving home I have re-watched the game, and Oregon was moving the ball well most of the day. The O-Line gave up 0 sacks. The RBs averaged over 4 yds a carry. Nix for whatever reason killed too many drives in the 1st half, which was magnified immensely because the D was a No Show. It was still going to be a blowout, but getting 3 more FGs would've been a bit of salve at least. Monken did an excellent job of not attacking the Duck D head on. Which led to the Ducks having to chase a lot, not wrapping up, and boom. Game Over. Stetson Bennett was really good with his fakes, as well as throwing it away when he got into trouble. I know they said Bo had the most experience against SEC Defenses, but it feels like they threw him into his worst nightmares, and he was unable to cope. I saw Butterfield warming up a bit after the half, so I was hopeful they were going to use the 2nd Half of a long decided game to develop him and Ty. But alas, the 2nd Half was more of the same. -
Does The Transfer Clock Start Today?

There were quite a few people in Atlanta clamoring for Ty. A couple people near me made impromptu signs on cardboard. It made me wonder how the Autzen crowd will be if Bo struggles like that over the next couple games. Hopefully they won't boo. -
Well, he's married now. So that's gotta help!

Well, if people can deal with ads for Non-Family Friendly sites, I'm sure they can suffer through these. You could always remind them how much a membership would cost, if you weren't to have ads!

Jurrion Dickey: MaxPreps Preseason All-American
chrisjenn99 replied to Pennsylvania Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
That's odd. I don't have a subscription, and it just loads for me. To summarize, he isn't enrolled at Mater Dei....or his old school at this point. Also, he's still in South Florida fishing. "Well, it’s anyone’s guess where Dickey will play in the fall. A source close to Dickey told the Bay Area News Group on Monday night that the receiver is not going to Mater Dei and plans to attend a public school, perhaps in the Bay Area." -
Lanning: What Are You Willing to Sacrifice this Moment?
chrisjenn99 replied to Pennsylvania Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I really don't like the idea of following the University of Spoiled Children to the B1G, but if the alternative is being left behind, so be it. That being said. To get to 100 Million per team (16 teams counting USC & UCLA) would need a 1.6 Billion package. Doubt it gets that high. 1 Billion comes out to 62.5 Million each. If you add the Ducks, each team loses almost 4 million. That's 60 million across the board in losses for the other teams (at 3.75 mil each). I'm not sure the Ducks could take a big enough bath to get every B1G team on board, given the current market. -

My kid is 9 and on his 2nd year of Tackle football. I think after we get back from Atlanta I'm going to start showing him videos like this. Gotta build that intensity. -

I would remember what Cam Colvin had to endure throughout life. Oregon's Colvin pursues NFL dream despite tragedies WWW.ESPN.COM Life has presented Cameron Colvin with enough potholes to swallow many. The Oregon receiver continues to pursue his NFL dreams while motivated by tragedies and setbacks. I'm just glad he's done great things since then. -

I remember the fumble through the end zone to lose against Cal, and then 2 weeks later that freak injury against WSU. Rough way to end your career. -

All I'll say about this is, Herbert forced two bad throws in the 4th quarter for inexplicable INTs in that game. Those aren't on Mario. -
I lived in the Bay Area from '99 - '05, and never went to a game at either Cal or Stanford. Hell, the only College Football game I went to was the Inaugural Silicon Valley Bowl. What a stinker.
