  1. Something tells me this is how we all feel when we make a post! Old men unite! Go Ducks!
  2. Thank you Charles. Always great to see the complexities of this offense. It takes slow motion for me to recognize them. But, these plays are beautifully designed at multiple levels. Will Stein does seem to be playing 3D chess while my mind is looking for checkers. Great stuff!
  3. If I remember correctly... His pregnant wife/girlfriend had just graduated and received a job offer in LA (where both their families are from). If so, I give him a pass.
  4. Ducks 45- 17 2 TO 3 Sacks 332 Yards Passing
  5. "Once a Duck, always a Duck" rings true to most. But, not all. Each situation needs to be considered individually. There are too many unique situations to throw out a blanket statement like that. To me. One must have truly been a Duck while in Eugene. By this I mean: put in the effort, gave their all, committed themselves completely into their role. This doesn't necessarily mean they succeeded. But, that they truly tried to succeed and left without drama/baggage. Helfrich- Yes. Mario- Yes. Slick- No. Dye- Yes. Tyner- Yes. McCormick- Yes. Addison- No. I try not to judge harshly as people must make personal decision for themselves and their families. But, one should be able to make those decisions with grace and dignity.
  6. The Civil War is dead. The good guys won. No need to remind them of this every year.
  7. I want to see a win! Pass protection. Open running lanes. Down field blocking. ... and some cold Hazy IPAs.
  8. From where I was sitting (about halfway up on the north side). There were two things that SEEMED obvious. 1) Gabriel was told not to run. There were several times early in this game he rolled out, had 15 yards of open field in front of him, yet chose to unnecessarily throw instead. Idaho picked up on this and knew they did not need to defend it. 2) Gabriel does not see the entire field as well as our QB's in the past. I feel part of the reason for this is his height. In 3 out of the 4 images in the article his vision is obstructed by larger humans. It felt as if he was told to stay planted and simply dink and dunk to nearby receivers. He didn't even use his feet to get larger views of the field. It felt purposeful. My two cents: The Ducks had a VERY simple plan for this game. They knew they could win on talent alone and didn't want to show any of their cards to future opponents. At the end of the day, they won, saw their points of need, and got a feel for real contact. Now it is time to take that experience and build on it. Luckily the schedule ramps up gradually over the first three weeks. They do not have to rush it. But, they MUST learn (from this game) and improve after each of the next two games.
  9. Unfortunately, I've been far to busy to read many of the articles posted the last few months. Having one site to go to is so much simpler than searching on my own. Thanks to all who have been working so hard to post them all. PennsylvaniaDuck set a high standard. You all are doing her proud. Thank you. However, I will say this. I read everyone's comments more than I read the articles. You my Duck friends are why I come to this forum. I appreciate all of you.
  10. It feels longer because CDL literally takes no time off. It's a full time/year round job just to follow this program now. I'm exhausted!
  11. I'm glad she's coming along to the B1G.
  12. I will never forget that day. My sister in law and I were the only ones in green in a section of all purple. Washington fans were completely abusing us until Kenny saved our day! Turning point for the entire program, fans included.
  13. Wow! If you asked: "What pick in each conference will generate the most clicks?" She nailed them! I will say.... I think she may have gotten the ACC correct.
  14. To me it would be Bellotti. It was his tenure that took the fanbase from hoping to believing. That is such a HUGE step that it simply can not be ignored. That being said, everyone of the coaches discussed had strengths that we must appreciate... even Willie (that's hard to say).
  15. Agreed! This was the one piece I was hoping for. Thanks Coach!
  16. That's a pretty NOBLE post if you ask me.
  17. The bottom of the article says "Happy April Fools".
  18. Football Scoop say's no offer has been made from tOSU to Locklyn. It is my hope UO matches any offer if/when made. Are you listening Coach Lanning? Get Rob to open his pockets and retain him!
  19. $4.5 million to win. Pretty sure that putt hurt a bit. But, definitely a great effort.
  20. That was devastating! I was yelling at my TV. But, once again Scottie pulls off the win.
  21. So sorry to hear this. Get well Pennsylvania Duck our thoughts are with you.
