  1. Not cool. Hope he heals well and comes back next year ready to go. Our RB room is stacked. But, losing a guy like Noah will be felt and (as stated) changes our game plans. Hate to hear this. He's a good dude.
  2. Agreed... and I totally overlooked that game. Guess I should look at the schedule once in awhile. Duh...
  3. I definitely feel our Ducks have a great chance to run the table this year. UW appears to be the largest obstacle. But, I feel good about that game. Utah in SLC is usually more daunting than it feels this year. USC is way over-hyped. Then there are those pesky Beavers... But, their offense won't keep up. Bo stays healthy and plays freely... sky is the limit.
  4. Thanks David! I love the way this roster/team are coming together. Coach Lanning is building something special. I am not worried about USC. That defense simply will not be able to run the table in the Pac. UW is the most concerning for me as a Duck fan. Playing in Seattle is never easy and I feel their D-line may slow our run game better than others we have faced. There are some big boys on that line that move fairly well. That being said... Oregon has played well in Seattle in recent years and our Ducks have weapons all over the field not just the backfield. Many haven't even manifested themselves yet. The Ducks ARE BUILT DIFFERENTLY! Who knew a Pac team could have both an offense and a defense?... Dan knew.
  5. Ha! Everyone is too kind. I don't gamble so no trips to Vegas anytime soon. Log Haulin no worries I won't be picking against our Ducks anytime soon. The next game is the only one I'm overly concerned about and I couldn't pick UW without drowning in my own vomit.
  6. Oregon 38-6 2- TO 4- Sacks 302- Pass Yards Natural grass will slow the Duck's offense more than Stanford will.
  7. Beavers 13-7 This game will be like pulling teeth to watch.
  8. I hope he gets some TV time. LaMike is one of our all time greats.
  9. Any kid choosing Colorado is actually choosing Coach Sanders. When he jumps ship (I give it 2 years tops) Colorado will be right back in the same boat they have been in for 20+ years. Enjoy it now Buff's... it will be short lived. Oregon on the other side has established itself. I feel Oregon will be relevant for many years to come.
  10. Former Oregon running back LaMichael James to receive Hall of Fame on-campus salute during Colorado game WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM LaMichael James will be honored by the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame with its NFF Hall of Fame on-campus salute during Saturday’s game
  11. I feel 21 is low. Colorado barely squeaked by CSU at home. That same CSU team was blown out by WSU on their own turf. I just hope Autzen is rockin'. If it is... Colorado will be exposed. Ducks win BIG!
  12. Ducks 59-10 4 sacks 2 to's 419 passing yards
  13. I can not disagree with anything Noonie71 said about UW coaches or recruiting... who knew there was a Husky actually pays attention.
  14. I feel they will both become regional reporters. Wilner will cover the SW with a heavy focus on the Arizona teams. Canzano will focus on the PNW and follow the four NW schools. They will likely do this until it is clear from their followers that change is needed. Unfortunately, for WSU and OSU I don't feel like this will take much time. Those two schools will not garner much national attention in 3-4 years.
  15. Looked good and collected that first drive. Hope he can finally gain some confidence.
  16. Miami isn't even in the top 5 of teams to root against for me. But, I'll cheer for Miami-Ohio if that is what my one of my fellow Duck fans wants me to do!
  17. Sucks for the Beavs... At least they'll have one of the nicer stadiums in the MtnWest.
  18. Ducks 52-13 3 TOs 5 Sacks 392 Passing
  19. Joshua, I appreciate and agree with most all your thoughts. My main concern is injuries. I foresee an especially chippy season in the final year of the Pac-12. I do not put it past any of these opposing teams throwing cheap shots at our key players. Bo went down against UW last year on what I feel was a questionable shot to his lower body. It could happen again and it would not shock me. This team has a huge upside. But, it is only one key injury away from an average season. My prediction. Bo and Coach Lanning know this and will not put him in any overly compromised positions that could lead to it. Ducks win the final Pac12 championship having beaten Washington twice. Make the playoffs and lose in the first round to Kirby and the Dawgs 42-38.
  20. Utah has become one of my favorite programs... fans included. Prior to joining the Pac12 I found many of their fans to be obnoxious, entitled, and ignorant. But, the first couple years in the league seems to have had a humbling effect on them. They have now figured out how to be enthusiastic and proud without being belligerent and clueless. I now have respect for both the program and their fans in general. I think they will own the Big 12 and look forward to bowl/playoff game against them in the future. Go Utes!
  21. That $270mil is for the term of the deal. Payout is only $4-$6 million annually per school.
  22. Gary Campbell was a rock of stability and a great mentor and coach. He is the reason the Ducks are on this list. I see some similar traits in Coach Locklyn. Not as snazzy of a dresser... But, very focused on his boys in the RB room and wants them to succeed both on and off the field. I do not see the Ducks falling off this list under his watch.
  23. To me only the past 15 years should matter when creating lists like these. I do not have a problem with the Ducks being below any of the CURRENT B1G teams listed above them simply because we have not seen enough head to head matchups to truly know. But, there is no way USC should be at #3. My list would have the Ducks at #4, UW at #5, USC at #6
