  1. Not the popular choice on this forum... But, I love them!
  2. That was my first thought as well. I was confident Coach Lanning plans on staying in Eugene for years to come. But, I'm glad he made that perfectly clear to EVERYONE nationwide. A four year commitment is HUGE for a 17 year old kid and his family. This kind of loyalty will prove very fruitful.
  3. Very ugly win... But, still a win. Glad we have ASU next to clean things up. Can not play like this against the Beavs. They will be fighting. The last Civil War will be a nasty one.
  4. Hope everyone who was able to attend had a great time. I wish I could have made it. Go Ducks!
  5. Listen to Red Eddy Green. He definitely seems to know the current seen better than most. He sounds spot on.
  6. I typically start at The Beer Garden (on 6th) after a couple of pints off of their great tap list... I waddle over to the Ninkasi Living Room for a quick bite (and another pint). This experience will take you through what is called the Whiteaker neighborhood. It has a very Eugene feel to it. Might be a shock for Midwesterners. If you're feeling a little more sophisticated you might want to stop by The Gordon (near 5th St Market). Great mixed drinks and a more modern feel in the lobby. There is also a bar on top (can't remember the name). But, it has a fun vibe to it as well. Game day. Yes, there are pay lots for parking. Then just walk all the lots around the stadium. Tailgaters are friendly and welcoming (as long as your carrying your own beverages). Swag. The Duck Store next to the stadium. Have fun, be safe. Use a cab/Uber/or walk if needed. ... and Welcome to Oregon! GoDucks!
  7. Oregon 42-10 2 TO's 5 Sacks 326 Passing (in the rain)
  8. Sounds a lot better than "Leibhaber Stadium" that's for sure! Just joking Mrs. Leibhaber. I'm sure your as great of a person as you are an editor... you just need a fashion consultant.
  9. There have been many great running backs come through Oregon. But, I have to say, the combination of LaMicheal James and Kenjon Barner has to be my personal all-time favorite!
  10. I do not feel as if Coach Lanning had his wings clipped. If anything, I see mid-season stress on a young coach. We are at that point in the season when EVERYTHING ramps up. With each passing week the intensity rises and rises. There is a reason these coaches make the kind of money they do. IT'S STRESSFUL!!!
  11. An IPA I have not tried... guess I know what I'm drinking Saturday!
  12. Thanks for the reminder... I need to put my garbage out tonight! Never thought about it. But, my garbage does look a lot like Husky's hometown.
  13. Not cool. Hope he heals well and comes back next year ready to go. Our RB room is stacked. But, losing a guy like Noah will be felt and (as stated) changes our game plans. Hate to hear this. He's a good dude.
  14. Agreed... and I totally overlooked that game. Guess I should look at the schedule once in awhile. Duh...
  15. I definitely feel our Ducks have a great chance to run the table this year. UW appears to be the largest obstacle. But, I feel good about that game. Utah in SLC is usually more daunting than it feels this year. USC is way over-hyped. Then there are those pesky Beavers... But, their offense won't keep up. Bo stays healthy and plays freely... sky is the limit.
  16. Thanks David! I love the way this roster/team are coming together. Coach Lanning is building something special. I am not worried about USC. That defense simply will not be able to run the table in the Pac. UW is the most concerning for me as a Duck fan. Playing in Seattle is never easy and I feel their D-line may slow our run game better than others we have faced. There are some big boys on that line that move fairly well. That being said... Oregon has played well in Seattle in recent years and our Ducks have weapons all over the field not just the backfield. Many haven't even manifested themselves yet. The Ducks ARE BUILT DIFFERENTLY! Who knew a Pac team could have both an offense and a defense?... Dan knew.
  17. Ha! Everyone is too kind. I don't gamble so no trips to Vegas anytime soon. Log Haulin no worries I won't be picking against our Ducks anytime soon. The next game is the only one I'm overly concerned about and I couldn't pick UW without drowning in my own vomit.
  18. Oregon 38-6 2- TO 4- Sacks 302- Pass Yards Natural grass will slow the Duck's offense more than Stanford will.
