Report: SDSU to Remain in Mountain West
To me this simply means the Pac? did not want to rush the process just to save SDSU some money. SDSU will still be the first school offered a place in the Pac. They'll just have to come up with 16mil if they want to join in less than a years time. It seems very likely that SDSU and SMU will both be joining sometime in the near future.

Be Proud: Oregon Baseball Finished 12th in the Nation!
Wasikowski definitely has this program trending upward. At a fairly high rate I may add. I loved seeing PK Park host a Super Regional. Great for the boys and the city.

FORE! Pro-Duck Wyndham Clark WINS U.S. Open
Incredible! I always thought Aaron would be the first Duck to do it. But, super happy for Clark!

Super Regional Game 3: Ducks LOSE 11-6, Season Ends
Players looked crushed. This team gave everything they had. While it may not have been the outcome we all hoped for... You can't help but be proud of them. Great season boys! Go Ducks!

The NEW Anti Pac-12, Pro SEC Propaganda Has Begun!
That is my only issue with Pate's opinion. He needs to recognize that talent alone does not make a TEAM. If it did USC and Texas would always be contenders. Yet, they rarely are.

Oregon Goes to No. 6 Vanderbilt, Nashville for Regional
Excited to see how far this team can make it. Go Ducks!

ESPN Not Interested in Pac-10 Tier One Media Rights?
Great points HappyToBeADuck! Now write a headline for those points that will grab national attention... Dobb's is all about the clicks.

FishDuck Take: Oregon Spring Game Concerns and Confidence
I have no problem looking to the portal for another backup QB. I just do not feel as strongly as Charles (and others) towards Ty proficiencies or lack there of. To say the Ducks can't win a game with him playing seems very extreme given what I saw once he settled into the game. Just my thoughts.

FishDuck Take: Oregon Spring Game Concerns and Confidence
While Ty has not lived up to anywhere near the hype he received coming out of high school. I do believe he is improving. My take: His nerves are still a HUGE issue for him. His first two processions were carbon copy what we saw during the season last year. He had one thought in his head.. get rid of the ball ASAP no matter the cost! Both of those series I believe ended up with Mase Funa getting hands on the ball. After that he settled in a bit and made a couple reads and check downs. I did feel towards the end of the first half (when he played with some urgency) he showed some promise, made some good reads, used his feet to buy time, and delivered some nice balls. This carried over a bit into the second half. Do I feel he has what it takes to win games... Yes. But, not against the better third of the Pac12. I do feel more confident in putting him in for clean up duty to protect Bo from unwanted exposure to injury. That is a plus.

FUTURE MEMBER? REGARDLESS, HATS OFF TO SAN DIEGO STATE
That was the best game I've watched in a long time. I have not followed either team. But, being from San Diego I was watching through scarlet colored glasses and could not be happier with the outcome. What a game! One more to go Aztecs. As to the Pac12 expansion sub-topic... There is not a more deserving/ logical candidate that SDSU and I definitely do feel the Pac needs a SoCal presence.

Aaron Wise Withdraws From the Masters Tournament
He has missed the cut at 4 of his last 5 tournaments. For Aaron that has to be tough... and not up to his standard or ability. Hope he can get it sorted.

Aaron Wise Withdraws From the Masters Tournament
He has been struggling this year. I hope he can figure things out. He is one of a handful of golfers I follow regularly. I'm pulling for him.

Why the Pac-12’s Survival is in Everyone’s Interest
I too love Pac12 football. To me it is the most entertaining of all the Power 5 conferences. I do not want this style of football to disappear. I hate to think of our Ducks plodding down the field the way Iowa or Wisconsin does. Made me yawn just typing that. But, unless George can work a miracle I do not see the Pac competing in 8-10 years. I'm hoping to still be around past that timeline and want my Ducks to still be a top 10-15 program. I'm blindly trusting in UO leadership to make the right call for the program's future. With that said. I'm getting used to eating cheese curds and drinking Leinenkugel's.... Because that is what I see in our future.

What Programs Would You Like to See the Ducks Schedule in the Future?
As Charles said, Welcome and nice to have you join us. As to your question...while the idea of playing some Blue Bloods for our out of conference games is appealing. Oregon has been screwed several times attempting to schedule home and home games with teams meeting that description. I'd prefer to play good solid teams that would likely fulfill their side of the agreement. Maybe Baylor, TCU. I liked having BYU last year and look forward to Texas Tech this year. But, I feel (much like Charles) the Georgia, tOSU, or Alabama type games should be reserved for the playoff/bowl season.

An Offer From B1G in April Coming?
As much as I like the Pac... Oregon needs to do what's best for Oregon. Pres Scholz, AD Mullens, and Mr. Knight need to be the ones who decide in which conference this may be. If it were me I would be demanding at least 40 million form the Pac to stay... and I would be asking the B1G for 45 million for the first 3 years. Then full share... But, luckily no one is asking me.

Canzano: Dana Altman Is Fuming... But He's Not Leaving Oregon
For the most part I agree. But, this team seemed to be just going through the motions all season. Its hard for a fanbase to get excited when the players don't even seem to care.
-
Why Oregon Lost: Free Throws?
33% is flat out unacceptable. Free throws are all about muscle memory. Obviously, these players simply do not put in enough time at the gym. Dana needs to find a way to recruit players that are leaders.

Oregon House Bill Would Require Approval of State Legislature for Public Universities to Change Conferences
My thoughts exactly. Beavers trying to lock themselves to the Duck's tails.

Two Things To Watch This Spring
1) I would like to see Steins offense take root quickly. 2) I want a true leader (both vocally and physically) on defense to manifest himself. 3) and... I NEED to see constant QB pressures and sacks.

ION TV Enters the P-12 Media Rights Contest
From the little I have read into ION/Scripps this could be very interesting. They have a vast portfolio. I could see them purchasing the PAC12 network as well.

Willie Taggart Ravens RB coach
Good. I never want to see him in Autzen again. Which was going to happen Sept 23rd.

Canzano: Pac-12 Expansion Ramps Up
I agree with you. This same metric could be used when discussing the LA schools (obviously to a lesser degree) yet B1G still jumped all over them. Media negotiations are based off possible eyeballs... not actual eyeballs. The LA area does not watch college sports. Otherwise, USC would have more fans than Oregon. This tells me the visual media outlets could care less about real fans. They just want large numbers that look good when throwing proposals in front of possible advertisers. Similar to print media continuing to print magazines even though no one buys them. They need to have circulation numbers to back up their inflated advertising rates which is where the real money is coming from.

Kliavkoff Meeting With SMU Tomorrow
I'm hoping SMU gets cut as a candidate quickly. I would prefer to add two schools from within the current Pac footprint (west of Denver). To me SDSU and UNLV should be the only schools being considered.
