  1. Caution, we are being dominated by all those crickets that showed up for their spring game?
  2. 1. No, Nix will not be QB3 2. Smith will leave if he gets double digit wins. Of course, I mean this Smith will leave his mind, not Jonathan leaving OSU. 3. Yes, but depends on how many lanes there are at the alley. 4. YES, yes, yes 5. Nah, ain't gonna get a Heisman from a 3 L team.

  4. Breaking news: USC athletic director Mike Bohn resigns WWW.MSN.COM The LA Times broke the news on Friday Almost a year too late!
  5. Ah contraire . . . I think this will do away with all College sports. Taking any piece of the revenue plus sports (and I am not sure every school has one) will kill all sports as I am assuming many schools will just abandon all non-intermural sports due to budget constraints. Will unionized schools picket/refuse to play non-unionize schools? Perhaps the reason the NLRB chose the Pac 12 and USC is to set up an appeals process in the Ninth Circuit. Leave it to the lawyers to try and kill the golden goose.
  6. Oregon in line to potentially add three commitments over the next few days 247SPORTS.COM The Oregon Ducks are in a place where the 247Sports Crystal Ball says commitments are incoming.
  7. I think it might be too late to "Get Smart" on this as CHAOS seems to be winning.
  8. Where the players who transferred from Oregon during the winter portal window will play in 2023 247SPORTS.COM A complete list of where the former Ducks will be lining up for the 2023 season.
  9. Thanks for the post. Surprising that athletes that have transferred are still listed.
  10. Of course, being able to stretch the field also means more catches for the slot and TEs, so more balls to go around.
  11. In the Pac 12 . . . 12. Oregon lands commitment from Colorado transfer TE Kaden Ludwick 247SPORTS.COM Oregon lands its second transfer tight end during the spring in Kaden Ludwick. Originally from Clackamas he has come home.
  13. Funny how an injury to one Qb (Bo) and lack of one at OSU elevated them into the blue blood sphere. Bottom line, how do they manage to make such good wine up there with such sour grapes?
  14. Big Ten 'Strongly Considering' Major Schedule Change After UCLA, USC Join WWW.MSN.COM With UCLA and USC joining their ranks next year, the soon-to-be 16-team Big Ten Conference seems to be on the verge of making a big change to their football schedules. According to Brett... Interesting. So, each team will have to up its payday game payouts while the media partners get an inferior product. The fans get the same inferior product but of course no one care about them. Plus, add in Maryland and Rutgers and you get a 4th non power-five game.
  15. It will be very interesting in a couple of years to see the exodus from their program when . . . 1) They don't qualify for the expanded playoffs due to the competition. 2) The players don't like midwest/truckstop winters.
  16. News flash, So Cal is the new Napa, whine country USA. Plus, looks like the drought in SoCal is over with all that crying.
  17. And hit free throws, not sure which is preferred other than both!
  18. per 24/7 Jackson Shelstad becomes 247Sports Composite 5-star after final 247 ranking update 247SPORTS.COM The Oregon Duck men's basketball program has a new five-star commit. However, Kwame Evans Jr and Mookie Cook drop.
  19. Jeez, next thing you know you'll tell us there is a way to "clear" the forum and only show new posts from the last time we viewed the forum.
  20. I'll disagree on this as I think it is a bit harsh. There seems to be enough other parts that a journeyman QB can win us some games. Hopefully, we won't have to find out!
  21. Since it was a glorified scrimmage, and a good exposing one at that, my best takeaway was watching touchbacks, decent punting and Cam Lewis looking as if his leg is stronger.
  22. Travis Gray, the son of Lamarr Gray, a linebacker on Colorado’s 1990 national championship team. Gray received a text message from offensive line coach Bill O’Boyle the day after Colorado’s Spring Game, asking him to come to the team facility to meet with Sanders. "I was like, ‘Oh, God.’ I saw the mean mug in his face," Gray said. "He told me, ‘You’re 6-foot-8, 320 pounds. I know in my heart of hearts a school is going to pick you up in the portal when you enter. Make your weaknesses your strengths and keep progressing. I hope you have a great future, it just won’t be here at the University of Colorado.’"
  23. Unfortunately, not everyone is playing with the same deck, but it has always been that way. Previously with the old 105 scholarship limit and non-existent transfer rules, it was basically indentured servitude for the haves. Then the $ECs and U$Cs of the past with their deep pocketed donors and non-existent NCAA oversight held the edge. Now, with the NIL and open portal, a bit more haves have entered the picture. It's the new Darwinism of college sports. So, we have to suck it up and play with the cards we are dealt. Fortunately, we have an "Ace" uncle (of two) to assist us.
