  1. Same as a ewe dub non-Oregon matchup unless it is a Duck matchup or CShip implications involving the Ducks.
  2. Not to rain on his parade, but there are 35 on the list out of 130, so he is supposed to be in the upper 1/3. I sure hope so.
  3. Murphy's law game. Coaches said that the last play of the first half AB keeping the ball was not a part of the play, until it was; Vardell goes down; two no-calls on last drive by Stanford; and, the no-call play was called. Oh well, not that us Duck fans have not lived through disappointments before.
  4. Too bad. 50 years later you'd get the experience and a participation trophy.
  5. Interesting question. Probably like the lotto money for schools here in CA, if the athletic dept gets to keep all the money, then money from the school general fund or other sources that normally would go to the athletic dept would probably dry up.
  6. That's fine, as long as he isn't eating Duck. Actually, I hope he changes and progresses. Without change there will be no progress.
  7. Someone needs to tell them that Mari and his prevent offense is now in Miami.
  8. No kidding. Seems how he is twice Lanning's age and there would be nowhere to go but down.

  11. Blue-Chip Ratio 2022: The 15 teams who can actually win a national title 247SPORTS.COM Our yearly study of the teams with enough talent to win a national title in 2022. Bummer (sarcasm alert): Former members Washington, Florida State, and Stanford are all multiple good classes away, in theory. Non-Bummer: Conference wise, "without USC, Oregon is likely to be alone in the Pac-12 at the top of the recruiting list for a while to come."

  13. "Better than Kevin Warren’s handshake" I'm pretty sure that was a spitshake.
  14. Until the last 4 years when the coach did that after he called a timeout to start the game.
  15. He would be a bit below Noah IF he has a year like we all want. And if he did, I think he'd be crazy not to go.
  16. Probably that the voter live in the town they nominate.

  18. Look: New 2022 Pac-12 Preseason Power Rankings Released WWW.MSN.COM Believe it or not, football will be played in the Pac-12 this upcoming season. We say that because of all the off-field distractions going on in the conference this offseason. On3 released its 2022... Utes deservedly the favorites. Gotta like the partial sentence about our Ducks.
  19. In my book he still counts as Washington HS kid not picking ewe dub
  20. I refer to it as the Notre Dame syndrome... In the old days, Notre Dame would get all of the "best" recruits from the Catholic High Schools. Because the Catholic schools were essentially the only high schools allowed to recruit, those schools had the best athletes (Catholic or not), but didn't play any schools with comparable talent. So, inflated stats and stars. Then ND would schedule the sisters of the poor and maybe one or two decent games a year = great record and great bowl game. But at bowl time, the Mike Tyson effect kicked in, Notre Dame's game plan went out the window when the opposition gave them the first punch to the face they had all year. A lot like usc since Carroll. P.S. I think they are a little better now, especially since they teach a class for line backers on how not to be catfished.
  21. Heck, I'm so old I don't know what that means, but I do like those unis also.
  22. Would an equity deal allow the equity partner to "control" all of the schools because they are an "owner" of 15% of each school? If so, then it was a no brainer to turn it down or legally not accomplishable as you can't sell a portion of a state school.
  23. Hard to believe Mr. Scott is not tooting this horn based upon all the negative publicity/blame he got and is getting. Or did he present the offer while badmouthing it at the same time?
