$C's D Takes a Hit
David, David, David. Please "drink alone" copious amounts of mouthwash ie Jack, Jimmy, Johnny, Black, Red, or with your buddy Weiser and/or your dear Old Grand Dad, before ever rooting for Ewe Dub, because then we may forgive you for having a reason for treason. Plus, that will help with that backwash problem.

$C's D Takes a Hit
USC Trojans DE Romello Height (shoulder) likely out for season WWW.ESPN.COM USC defensive end Romello Height will likely miss the rest of the season after undergoing a shoulder procedure. Shouldn't affect us, since we won't be playing them in the Pac 12 C-ship, but could help the Beavs this week.

Oregon/Auburn Trade. Who Got the Better Deal?
He says so, but I believe he has another year of eligibility.

What if the Pac-12 Went ALL-Streaming? Could You Live With It?
I'll check with my grandkids to see what they would charge to tutor me to be able to watch AND if the money was right (both for the Ducks and the kids didn't screw me over too much) heck yes.

Herm Edwards Fired from ASU
Well, when your former agent is the AD that hires you, not so surprising.

What Did We Learn In Week 3?
Learned the coaches are right in starting Nix. Ty did not look all that comfortable. Also, loved the QB under center; using the sneak for the 4 and 1, and then a different play from the same formation later on. More tape for others to worry about. WSU up next . . . looked bad week 1, bad stats in a good win week 2, put it together week 3, crash and burn week 4. Go Ducks

Is “Win Now” Culture a Problem For QBs?
"do we want coaches to take the time for the young talent to develop, or do we want coaches to ensure we have a winning season now?" YES to both. I am hoping they are not mutually exclusive.

Ok, I'll Ask The 'Ty' Question!
It will be interesting to see the transfer portal activity for any player, let alone the QBs, after someone has played their 3rd game. Bo says this is his last year, but he has 1 year of eligibility remaining after this year. I don't like the uncertainty of it.

People in Utah Cheering FOR Oregon on Saturday? Really?
Interesting vs viewable! Oklahoma at Nebraska, Liberty at Wake Forest, Kansas at Houston

Ok, I'll Ask The 'Ty' Question!
Due to a stone handed DB, Bo got a TD instead of an int. That type of gamble will hurt more than it helps against better competition, which is what he will face the rest of the year.

Ok, I'll Ask The 'Ty' Question!
I'm going to trust the coaches here. Second set not seeing enough to let him start. BTW, the 24/7 recruiting people said he got 5* based upon growth potential and Lanning has said the stars are gone once you've enrolled.

Remember This Defensive End at Oregon?
He was also involved in a fly-over at our last Rose Bowl AND hopefully over our next Rose Bowl 1/1/2023!

Would You Rather be Dan Lanning or Jimbo Fisher?
DL, there is no second place.

What Did We Learn?
I think we learned that EW's phones are probably ringing off the hook with SEC offers for a payday game around week 9 in their schedules.

Who is the SURPRISE Conference Recruiting Champion? Yeah-Baby!
So, OK & Texas will fall off the radar for this when they leave. Pac 12, same for our competition. Clemson has no competition. And the SEC has two new "threats", I think not. And the BIG adds a threat.

Expanded CFB Playoff in Three Years? Massive Details...
Or, the new playoff $$ will lessen the TV deal monetary impact and being in the PAC ??, ACC or BIG 12 will be an advantage to the rigors of the SEC or BIG 10. Per Jon Wilner: "But expansion also lends desperately needed viability to the Pac-12’s regular season by granting automatic bids to the six highest-ranked conference champions. There are only 10 conferences. So long as the Pac-12 champ is ranked higher than its counterparts in the Sun Belt, Conference USA, Mid-American and either the Mountain West or American, a playoff berth awaits. That is not a high bar."

Expanded CFB Playoff in Three Years? Massive Details...
“The commissioners will also have to address the athlete welfare angle as two teams could potentially play up to 17 games” . . . that will be a first, just ask the USC & UCLA soon-to-be globe-trotting athletes! Also, if it takes a unanimous vote of commishs, count Sankey out, he already has a semi monopoly on getting 1/2 of the teams in a four-team invitational.
