I am remembering our performance in Game One for 2024 vs Idaho. I do not think we should be overlooking Montana State University who will surely show up with a chip on their shoulder. I say this as a happy DUCK fan who also thinks we were not well prepared for game one last year and surely not prepared for our last game against tOSU.

I still credit our one point win in Eugene to Autzen Stadium. I don't think that tOSU was prepared for our fans and the noise level. I believe that the Ohio State offense received five procedure penalties. In the rematch, to me it was clear that our DUCKS were not prepared. Oh well, six months to kick off.

Thank you Jordan. Reviewing it again makes me sad again. That first game in Eugene was a great game with our DUCKS getting a big assist from Autzen Stadium. I believe the Buckeyes got five procedure penalties due to the noise. In the Rose Bowl rematch, there is no question that our DUCKS were not prepared and that is on Dan Lanning and Will Stein and Tosh Lupoi. Why were they not prepared? Not sure I understand. Dan Lannig is a great coach and I want him here for years and years but what happened? Mike Tyson once said and I paraphrase "The great plan you have all changes once you get punched in the mouth". Well we got punched and had no answer at all. It seems there is a lot to correct on both sides of the ball. I still love my DUCKS!

It is clear to me that Dan Lanning needs to go and we need to bring on Ted Lasso! I don't believe that Dan Lanning has to go, this is my dry sense of humor.

This was an amazing season and congratulations to all our players. I do not think that our coaches had us prepared for this game. How do we give up 34 unanswered points? How do we let Dillon Gabriel get sacked 8 times? How do we let Jeremiah Smith run wild with very little coverage? How does our highly rated defensive line get zero sacks and very little pressure? It will be a long off season.
