I heard a female announcer prior to the Texas-Michigan game say something like, and I paraphrase, " Could a top 10 team lose today?". With #3 playing #!0, that was a virtual certainty.

My expectations are lowered now. I was believing our own hype. It does seem to me that there is potential improvement as this team has clearly not gelled together yet IMHO. For example: It seems that many potential offensive drives were marred by many penalties. I can not find the number of penalties our DUCKS committed yesterday but it seemed significant. Does anyone know the number? GO DUCKS!

"Coverage will begin shortly" I wonder what this means? Surely NBC is able to broadcast two games at once I hope. Edit and they can!

I like everyone is hoping to see some significant improvement this week. Former DUCK Dante Dowdell has sure looked good in the Nebraska backfield. I want to see our running backs and hope they do well. GO DUCKS!

Shadeuer Sanders having a tough start against Nebraska. 4 minutes to go in the first quarter and he has been sacked three times and thrown a pick six. Nebraska 14, Colorado 0. Plus some guy named Dante Dowdell is having a fine running game for Nebraska.

Northern Illinois vs Notre Dame is carried on both NBC and Peacock Streaming. My audio visual system is first class and the Peacock stream is visually sharper, clearer and brighter and the difference is significant. Go Peacock!

I signed up for Peacock and just spotted that Colorado at Nebraska is also streaming on Peacock.

You will need to be signed up for the Peacock streaming service to watch this game. I signed up today to the basic Peacock service for about $8 per month. You can cancel at any time. There is also a premium service for about $14 per month. I tried to record the game but you cannot record Peacock with just the basic package. Perhaps you can with the Premium service. Welcome to the new world of college football. You cannot expect any longer to turn on the TV and find the game easily. GO DUCKS! BTW, this game terrifies me.

Once again Dan Lanning needs to take a look at his play calling. I and probably many of you were calling for a punt from our own 37 yard line with a fourth and one. Why wouldn't you punt? That failure plus an immediate Idaho score shocked all of us. How would you feel if the final score was 24-7?

It seemed to me that this team was especially unprepared for the first game of the season. Could it be the result of the Transfer Portal bringing in so many new faces that have not actually melded together properly yet? I honestly don't know but sure did not expect a 4th quarter nail biter. GO DUCKS!

Just watched the 2012 Rose Bowl on BIG. Oregon vs Wisconsin. What fun to see Derren Thomas, D'Anthony, LaMichael, Kenjon and Tuinei wear down the Badgers. This will be another big game this year IMHO.

A friend of mine at my gym has a son on the Cheer squad at Oregon. This morning she told me about the DUCK showing up at a football conference at Nebraska and how the next stop was Minnesota. This was all done on one students initiative. He lives in Nebraska and checked with his superiors in Eugene and they shipped him the DUCK mascot gear. He got thrown out of course and then said he would head on to Minnesota. This was not branding being executed by the University but by one students idea. GO DUCKS! 30 days to kickoff!

Just to play the Devils Advocate, What happens if the Phil Knight money dries up? Nike has not been doing particularly well lately and Friday before last, the Nike stock dropped 20% in one day. My back of the napkin calculation suggests that Phil Knight may have been down +/- $8 billion on that Friday.
