Lanning: Who cares. (When asked about being number one.) Mario: Hey everybody look at us being better than two dumpster fires!

The Oregon Terminators Scroll BIG Ten Phonebook
And remember kids, over half of those 13 first half points against four BIG teams came on a bad pick six just before half! Gabriel alone on one bad play gave up more first half points that our D did in eight quarters!

The Oregon Terminators Scroll BIG Ten Phonebook
Just like Arnold in the movie, the Ducks are methodically taking out one team after another on their schedule. Every game minus top five tOSU has played out almost identically home or away, top twenty or bottom feeder. Final scores don't even look all that impressive because they simply hit cruise control for the entire second half. Just take a look at what they have done to date. Below are the first and second half scores in the BIG so far for the Ducks. UCLA 28-10 6-3 MSU 21-0 10-10 Purdue 21-0 14-0 Illinois 35-3 3-6 Total 1st half: 105-13 2nd half: 33-19 Add in tOSU 22-21 10-10 and the total is still 127-34 43-29 It appears to me that Lanning seems to going for three score separation by half, put the starters in neutral in the third qtr, then let subs finish out the fourth.qtr. These scores are just too similar to be random chance. I think this is helping him keep the starters healthy and reduce the amount of meaningful tape for coaches to game plan against. It's still too early in the season to make playoff plans but it appears more and more likely that as to playing in the championship, 'We'll be back.".

Quack Attack: Top-Ranked Ducks Pound No. 20 Illinois to Stay Perfect
Great article and special bonus points for the fuskie burns! I posted earlier about this being a complete game by a complete team. This may have been one of the most complete games I've ever seen the Ducks play against a top twenty team. This one was never in doubt from the opening drive. It seemed like on every offensive and defensive play it would be a Duck that initiated contact and drove the opponent backwards and that includes the running backs. Even Tez lowered the shoulder and delivered the boom at the goal line on that incredible opening TD catch. The Big Ten should be very concerned with what they let in the door. Lanning in year three has assembled a team that looks and acts like an SEC super power on a mission. You know when the season started, Michigan had this game circled and licking their chops. Now, they're searching for the white out and just hoping to survive injury free. This morning on their boards, they are already bracing for a twenty point beat down on their home field. Be afraid Big Ten. Be very afraid.

Getting Better Every Week
If Harmon doesn't get that silly personal foul after that third down stop, the score would have likely been 45-3, a truer reflection of the domination we all witnessed.

Did You Catch the Chip-vs-Dan Comparison in the Telecast?
This team would have smoked Auburn.

Oregon's SURPRISE B1G Tour Continues...
What an absolute dismantling of a top twenty team that was. What a complete game by a complete team.

Let's Discuss! CFB College Football GameDay (All Other Games on 10-26)
Indiana with another interception followed by a TD throw. Now up 14-0 2nd quarter.

Let's Discuss! CFB College Football GameDay (All Other Games on 10-26)
Indiana's stadium looks a lot like the coliseum last night except the red in the stands is because of the fans not empty seats. fuskies come up short on fourth down and still trail 0-7 as the 1st quarter ends.

Let's Discuss! CFB College Football GameDay (All Other Games on 10-26)
fuskies start the day by giving up a pick six and trail Indiana early 0-7.

Does Illinois Have Anything to Lose Against Oregon?
The banana peal on the field for UO will be turnovers, especially in the red zone. Take another fourteen points off the board and or a pick six and you're now in who knows territory. Play a clean game and Illinois won't have the horses to hang with OBD for sixty minutes.

Maybe Ohio State Just isn't That Good
I'm actually shocked that the BIG scheduled a UO road trip for them in year one. I would have thought they would get the first home game.

Which Other Team Are You Pulling For On Saturday?
Yes. I almost forgot to ask football Santa for a 20 inning World Series game of the ages tonight.

Which Other Team Are You Pulling For On Saturday?

Bitter-Bile from Testy-Trojans...
SUC Fan: Ohio St would have totally demolished Lemming's team if it wasn't for that dodge ball kickoff, and knowing the rules better than Day, and all those recruits he stole from our backyard and that rabid fan base with Game Day there and um... where was I going with this?

What a Major Pundit Says About Oregon vs. Illinois...
Maybe they think it's lucky to survive a game with tOSU after giving them a free touchdown on the first drive.

Should Noah Whittington Switch to Receiver?
Great article. Lots to ponder. Whatever the answer is, I just want to see the load that James carries for the team dispersed a bit more. I realize that we don't have a 1A and 1B this year at running back but there seems to be too large of gap between 1 and 2 this year. I don't want to see James take too much wear and tear throughout the season and have too little left for a playoff run. Harris looked very promising at Purdue as did Limar. Hoping to see them take some of the load off of James in the second half of the season.

FORGET the 2025 Season: Ducks Better Savor This Year…
This year has got my full attention for sure. As to next year I am actually very excited about that as well. I feel that next year will be Lanning's first true team. It will be made up of guys he recruited himself and has been developing behind the curtain the last couple of years. All of those 4-4 1/2 star guys we raved about recruiting have been taking a back seat to the transfers that came in filled the starter spots the last couple years will finally be taking the field. These guys may lack in game experience but they do have practice experience going up against some of the best players in the country every day in practice. I'd say 2-3 years on the team learning both Lanning's system and culture is worth more than just bringing in a plug and play senior from the portal. I'd expect him to portal in a few positions of need like offensive line and running back but they look pretty set everywhere else. I'm excited for what the future holds but first there's a 2024 championship to go after right now.

30 Years Ago Today: The Pick
Yes another great fuskie defeat 30. Listened with glee on the radio for that one. I think Steve Brown had his own pick six to complete the beatdown. Man I loved Ogburn or as Don Essig used to say Re ggie OOOOGBUUUURN!
