Should Noah Whittington Switch to Receiver?
Great article. Lots to ponder. Whatever the answer is, I just want to see the load that James carries for the team dispersed a bit more. I realize that we don't have a 1A and 1B this year at running back but there seems to be too large of gap between 1 and 2 this year. I don't want to see James take too much wear and tear throughout the season and have too little left for a playoff run. Harris looked very promising at Purdue as did Limar. Hoping to see them take some of the load off of James in the second half of the season.

Oregon's Mascot - A History Lesson About "The Duck" (not "Puddles")
Robo Duck was one of the largest marketing failures in history. Long live The Duck!

Uh Oh... Illinois Fans Didn't Pay Attention to the Autzen Crowd v Ohio State
They’ll just have to learn it for themselves one team after another.

FORGET the 2025 Season: Ducks Better Savor This Year…
This year has got my full attention for sure. As to next year I am actually very excited about that as well. I feel that next year will be Lanning's first true team. It will be made up of guys he recruited himself and has been developing behind the curtain the last couple of years. All of those 4-4 1/2 star guys we raved about recruiting have been taking a back seat to the transfers that came in filled the starter spots the last couple years will finally be taking the field. These guys may lack in game experience but they do have practice experience going up against some of the best players in the country every day in practice. I'd say 2-3 years on the team learning both Lanning's system and culture is worth more than just bringing in a plug and play senior from the portal. I'd expect him to portal in a few positions of need like offensive line and running back but they look pretty set everywhere else. I'm excited for what the future holds but first there's a 2024 championship to go after right now.

30 Years Ago Today: The Pick
Yes another great fuskie defeat 30. Listened with glee on the radio for that one. I think Steve Brown had his own pick six to complete the beatdown. Man I loved Ogburn or as Don Essig used to say Re ggie OOOOGBUUUURN!

30 Years Ago Today: The Pick
I was living in Seattle at the time and was watching the game in a bar. As the fuskies got closer to the goal line that place got pretty rowdy. Then all of a sudden it got very quiet.... except for one excited guy!

Stephen A Says Alabama Hired the Wrong Guy
And this right here is why Lanning didn't want the job. He's his own man and I think he wants his own legacy and not just be handed the championship baton.

But What if Illinois Beats Oregon?
I think this will be a tighter game than the spread suggests and Illinois is a very good team. What we may have to get used to because this is pretty new is that the Ducks are a very complete team including a mountain of depth we haven't seen before. In the end the Ducks will have answers to the challenges they face and the problems they impose will just be too much to deal with. I'm expecting a fun game to watch with a satisfactory outcome in the end. As to the other topic on this thread, Danny Boy has Uncle Phil uh I mean the Ducks sitting at number one in the country and nobody will be able to pry this coach away from him uh I mean them.

Oregon's 2024 Offense Statistics Update - Concerning or Building?
This year’s stats I think are somewhat deceptive. I think Lanning’s plan has been to get up by three scores (21 points), create separation, then play some vanilla ball till the end. Since BSU all but tOSU have been blow outs by halftime. I think the second half vanilla ball has been to both avoid needless wear and tear on the players and to minimize useful tape on the team. We are 2-0 against top twenty playoff level teams. I’m not that concerned..

Hoosiers Shuck Nebraska but Their QB is Out Indefinitely
Cig may be the next Lanning. Too bad for SUC that they're up to their eyeballs in a 70 mil buyout for Riley.

Down Goes USuCk Again!
With the Dodgers opening the World Series and the Lakers playing at the same time, Rutgers may out number SUC fans in the stands 3-2.

Gosh, It Has Been SO LONG, and I Never Got Tired of It...
This is by far OBD's best team ever. With these offensive and defensive lines along with serious dudes at every position, they would have throttles 2010 Auburn and 2014 tOSU would have been the same dog fight we saw a couple weeks ago.

Down Goes USuCk Again!
That dumpster fire may be way down in southern California but it still keeps me toasty warm at night.

Gosh, It Has Been SO LONG, and I Never Got Tired of It...
Well stated 30. I can't help but think about how many recruits and future recruits are pondering that thought right now. The present and future are both looking potentially brighter than our glorious past.

Ohio State Fans: "I Can See Fear in Their Buckeyes"
If you’re not somebody’s villain, you’re doing sports wrong.

Oregon Will be the New No.1
Ducks pitch first road shutout since 1992. UGA opens up the number one spot for the Ducks to slide into. SUC still sucks. What a time to be alive!

Down Goes USuCk Again!
Leaving work, I checked scores and saw the disappointing news that SUC was up by 14 in the fourth quarter. Then I get home and see this wonderful surprise!

Oregon's Defense: Purdue Went From 49 Points to ZERO?
I don’t think either team will be happy with tonight’s score.

Oregon's Defense: Purdue Went From 49 Points to ZERO?
I remember before the season started some BIG talking heads were wondering how the Ducks would deal with a road game with a team like Purdue. Looks like we just found out.
