I was living in Seattle at the time and was watching the game in a bar. As the fuskies got closer to the goal line that place got pretty rowdy. Then all of a sudden it got very quiet.... except for one excited guy!

And this right here is why Lanning didn't want the job. He's his own man and I think he wants his own legacy and not just be handed the championship baton.

I think this will be a tighter game than the spread suggests and Illinois is a very good team. What we may have to get used to because this is pretty new is that the Ducks are a very complete team including a mountain of depth we haven't seen before. In the end the Ducks will have answers to the challenges they face and the problems they impose will just be too much to deal with. I'm expecting a fun game to watch with a satisfactory outcome in the end. As to the other topic on this thread, Danny Boy has Uncle Phil uh I mean the Ducks sitting at number one in the country and nobody will be able to pry this coach away from him uh I mean them.

This year’s stats I think are somewhat deceptive. I think Lanning’s plan has been to get up by three scores (21 points), create separation, then play some vanilla ball till the end. Since BSU all but tOSU have been blow outs by halftime. I think the second half vanilla ball has been to both avoid needless wear and tear on the players and to minimize useful tape on the team. We are 2-0 against top twenty playoff level teams. I’m not that concerned..

Cig may be the next Lanning. Too bad for SUC that they're up to their eyeballs in a 70 mil buyout for Riley.

With the Dodgers opening the World Series and the Lakers playing at the same time, Rutgers may out number SUC fans in the stands 3-2.

This is by far OBD's best team ever. With these offensive and defensive lines along with serious dudes at every position, they would have throttles 2010 Auburn and 2014 tOSU would have been the same dog fight we saw a couple weeks ago.

That dumpster fire may be way down in southern California but it still keeps me toasty warm at night.

Ducks pitch first road shutout since 1992. UGA opens up the number one spot for the Ducks to slide into. SUC still sucks. What a time to be alive!

Leaving work, I checked scores and saw the disappointing news that SUC was up by 14 in the fourth quarter. Then I get home and see this wonderful surprise!
