I’ve always been a fan of the eleven seed. 6 vs 11 isn’t that scary. 3 vs 11 isn’t bad either and you don’t face a one seed until the elite 8.

What a great game. Dante had one of the best must win games in Duck history. That block the three then chase down the ball then save it inbounds to a team mate play at the end was the most impressive thing I’ve seen a center do.

It seems to me that the SEC would like to be an NFL minor league and the BIG is doing everything they can to keep up with the SEC which sets them in the same direction.The biggest problem with this point of view is that by being a minor league, you're know longer a top banana. Dos anybody know who won the last AAA World Series? How about who one the G League Championship? Canadian Football League champion? No? This is what happens when you are a minor league. Nobody outside of the immediate fan base will care.

Not only did they transfer out, but most are excelling on top 20 teams in starting roles. Something is very wrong with this team. The departure of Mark Campbell seams to be a big part of the issue. This feels similar but even worse than Ernie Kent's final year. I loved Coach Kent but when it was time to go, it was time to go.

The vibe I’m getting is that promoting Wadood would please the players. I think Lanning knows a thing or two about the potential of highly motivated defensive recruiting machines!

I think Cam Ward's just grabbing a fat NIL check on his way to the Canadian League.

Word on Duck Territory is that the players love Coach Wadood and giving him shout outs on the recruiting trail. I'd expect him to be promoted to Coach Meat's position soon. If Zona promotes OC Carrol and brings in his dad Pete as OC, the Zona-UW pipeline may not flow in the direction the fuskies envision.

The town is covered in a sheet of ice this weekend.

Smith would be the dangerous one. Fisch would just be another Mario waiting for his Florida dream job to open up. The others so far, are just the flavor of the month.

If I'm Fisch, I stay at Zona, win the B12 then take the next good BIG or SEC job that opens up. I'd rather be the next Florida coach than put out the kennel fire up north.
