There have been "reports" that the Raiders may have an interest in DG. We all know how accurate these reports can be, but my goodness. If that happened, 3 out 4 teams in the AFC West would have OBD QB's!!

I think this is a bigger symptom of fans buying into the media hype of their conference and team. Texas is in the Almighty SEC, none shall stand! I loved that the Ducks were #1 and certainly played like it some weekends. But I also have been around college football long enough to know that any team can be beaten any week. What happens next year if they lose in the CFP again with Arch Manning? Imagine the cacophony then!!

Miami fans are psyched about this. I'm not sure that he is even an equal to Ward, let alone an upgrade. Not to mention he will be coming off a UCL surgery. I guess it is too early to say too much, but I do know that Miami does not have a defense like Georgia's to bail out the offense. Hope his accuracy improves or it will ba LONG season for the Canes next year. Bwahahaha!! Oops, that's supposed to be my inside voice.

And, not to look past 2025, but Gaitlin Bair is due into the roster in 2026. Bair, Moore, Dickey, McClellan, and Sadiq. That could quite possibly be the best receiving and TE core in the nation. And I know I am overlooking someone!

I have no doubt this kid sees the field as a freshman. You cannot keep this type of talent on the sidelines. His size and speed will make him an incredible weapon!

In regards to his speed, if he can improve that it's gonna be at Oregon. Our speed coaches are second to none and just adding a couple hundredths makes a huge difference. I saw a back with tremendous balance also. Even after he was hit on sidelines runs, he had the balance and strength to stay in bounds for a other 10-12 yards and hit the end zone.

I actually think this is a HUGE return. Bryce brings a moxy to this team that is one of those "intangibles". He is a leader on the field and I am certain he has the respect of the other players to come back and forgo his MLB contract!

I know that the game vs the Chiefs was against (mainly) the backups, but Bo did EXACTLY what he should do, completely carved them up. It was one of those games that you could just sit back and enjoy because the outcome was clear. The debate will rage about that draft class, Williams/Daniels/Nix. But two of those guys in their first year have taken their teams to playoffs and neither have the initials CW.

I have purposefully stayed away from reading anything about that last game because it was hard for me to believe that our season ended with such disappointment. There will be much debate from many of us, the national media, and analysts who pontificate why all the conference champions lost and what effect the seeding, bye-week, and moon phases played on the games. I've already heard Joel Klatt say that even if Dan Lanning takes the high road, he (Klatt) won't and said that what happened to Oregon in seeding was a travesty. Charles has already talked a little about the feelings after the game and maybe this post could go there, but I made my own. What I can tell you is this. I felt a significant "Thud" in my heart for this team. I was one of those people who firmly believed that this was THE YEAR that Oregon climbed to the top of that elusive mountain. It seemed like everything was there. Yes, we saw cracks at times, but I never lost faith that this team was built different and would always be ready to play. There seemed to be a mental toughness to this team that was different than previous championship runs. The talent level was there, the desire was there, the resolve was there. I know this forum is for all sports, not just football. But I am a football guy. Yes, I like basketball, but I am I don't carve out time in my day to watch the games. I follow baseball only a little and monitor the track standings. I am a season ticket holder for football for a reason. Maybe it's just me but I don't really care right now where the basketball teams are ranked. I don't care what the outlook for other sports may be at this time. This was supposed to be our year. Undefeated and Big10 champions told me that. My head knows the loss doesn't take away those things, but I can't help and look back at what was accomplished and just say "Really? That's it? We are done?" There was one, ONE, undefeated team left at the end of the season. Yet, we are no longer playing. I understand everything as to why; we lost when it mattered. Someone please tell me how I can get that message through to my heart. Right now, it isn't listening to me.

Honestly thought we would be at least competitive.
