  1. Having nearly 4 weeks off (25 days) between games is definitely too long.
  2. One thing I'm reminded of is that although we beat osu previously, we really did not play a great game. We left a lot of meat on the bone and made quite a few mistakes... and yet we still won. I think we will clean up the mistakes for New Year's Day, and we have a great shot at beating them for a second time this season.
  3. Including Oregon, there are 8 teams remaining in the playoffs. Name the only team remaining who has beaten 3 of them.
  4. They looked really good, and it's still so early in the season. They are beginning to gel.
  5. Given what PSU did to SMU, and what OSU appears to be doing to Tennessee... It's looking like our Ducks might be kinda good.
  6. Chip is now officially a mystery to me. What he did while head coach at Oregon was unprecedented at the time. Until Lanning came along, Chip's 86+% winning percentage was unparalleled at Oregon. I realize that he did things at that time that were groundbreaking in CFB. So, was he a great coach only while at Oregon, and then kind of lost the magic and sucked after that? Or was his 'new' type of football that he brought to CFB only good until the other teams caught up? Your thoughts are appreciated.
  7. Who are we rooting for in this one? I think we'd handle osu again, but frankly, I would rather play tennessee.
  8. I greatly appreciate your continued hope & optimism.
  9. I used to go to at least half of the away games, but haven't been doing that for years. Part of it had to do with there being too many schmuck fans out there. But this one definitely has my attention and might need to happen.
  10. I haven't watched any SMU ball this year. I'll look it up, but is their QB a backup? It looks like the guy has hardly played a down of football all year.
  11. Neutral site... right. It's about a 20 minute drive from Palo Alto. Go #10 ranked Ducks! Should be a good game against 9-2 Tree.
  12. So things are looking up for SMU!
  13. One player is having a very bad, not good, football day.
  14. My favorite Cliff-ism was: "I lock s#*@ down."
  15. 100% total screw job extraordinaire. And yet, we still have a great shot at winning it all.
  16. I watched the replay and could hear him call "bank."
  17. Unfortunately, living on the edge finally bit our Ducks in the backside.
  18. And they're still so proud of 'winning' half of a poll.
  19. Kid is a beast with the heart of a lion.
  20. Ducks going for a 10-0 start today at home against UCLA. This, after playing 5 straight games on the road, which included three wins against teams ranked in The Associated Press Top 25. Tickets are somehow going for as low as $7, and the game in on the B1G network. Go to the game if you can. These Ducks deserve, and need, our support. GO DUCKS!
  21. And yet, Franklin is still 1-14 against Top 5 programs.
  22. I think the #1 seed should have the option to choose which path they want. The reward for going 13-0 and being ranked #1 for the past two months, appears to be getting dealt a pretty crap playoff hand.
  23. Disgusting, pathetic, greedy, management, followed by sycophant university administrators pressing their noses way far up there... for starters.
