  1. While hopefully crushing PSU at the same time.
  2. I'm with you. I just had successful triple bypass surgery 4 weeks ago. I'm not sure my cardiologist recommends 4 & 1 for his patients.
  3. Maybe Sadiq might run hurdles in the off season.
  4. It is hard to argue with perfection... 12-0. After we win tonight, I may have to re-evaluate my COY. But there's no arguing that what Dillingham has done with the ASU dumpster fire program in 24 months is staggering. Most people do not realize what a disaster Dilly walked into. I really thought it was a mistake for him to take this program on, but he has proved me wrong.
  5. The Iowa QB dropped down about 12" right before contact was made. There's no way a defender can then adjust to that. It was a great, hard, football hit. He doesn't deserve to be bounced from the 1st half of their first CFP game.
  6. 24 months ago, 34 year old Dillingham took over a perennial crap dumpster fire college football program known as ASU. Last year they went 3-9. They were predicted to be the worst team in the Big 12 this season. Today, they have crushed Iowa in the Big 12 Championship. They are going to the College Football Playoffs. I love Lanning, but if you knew the perennial & horrendous crap storm that Dilly took over 2 short years ago, I think you might agree that he should be Coach of the Year.
  7. The QB dropped down about 12" right before contact.
  8. Former Pac 12 teams are representing well in conference championships.
  9. I agree with this guy 100%. There is zero upside for Oregon playing this game, and only risk.
  10. They just don't like the fact that our 'Team Out West' has, so far, dominated their conference. But I'm confident that they will get used to it. And just wait until our men's basketball team really starts to gel.
  11. I didnt think it was possible but I think these 3 loss SEC teams are whining more than Mario & Miami.

  13. As my son said, teams like Wazzu and OSU are now in many ways, akin to a Triple-A farm club for programs like Oregon.
  14. That CBSsports.com story link above takes a shot at teams like Texas, Oregon, SMU who didn't play "everybody" Other than Georgia & OSU, how many teams have 2 wins over current Top-10 programs? And how many of those teams are undefeated.
  15. If a bunch of Our Beloved Ducks came running out of the tunnel at halftime welding sledgehammers against the Fuskies, then I might have been a tad bit concerned about the smashing of the helmet. The concept of metaphor seems to be lost on the Fuskies. They seem like a rather overly sensitive bunch. Perhaps this is what 6-6 does to some fan bases.
  16. Altman: "It's certainly nice to be 9-0, but we have a very long way to go to being a really good basketball team". Altman said it perfectly. The word for this team that comes to mind right now is "rough." They remind me a bit of a certain Oregon football team in the first quarter of this season... The talent is certainly there, but they're rather rough around the edges. But the upside potential is exceptional. If these guys can gell like our football team has, look out Martha, because they could be scary good.
  17. Next up in Eugene... UCLA Sunday @ 3:00 This will hopefully be a sell out.
  18. Exactly. When Bittle scores 5 points and fouls out, and we still win, that speaks to the depth this team has.
  19. Keeshawn Barthelemy off the bench 6 for 9, 4 for 5 from the 3, 2 boards, and 5 assists. Yikes!
  20. No a pretty win, but definitely a gutsy win. They just find ways to win. 9-0. A very-very impressive win.
