  1. I need to see our o-line get their stuff together and play like they are capable of. I don't need to see anymore of those "That Team Out West" videos. We've had enough clicks, and now it's time to just play football.
  2. I watched most of the first half of the Arizona game. Arizona opened up the game with a beautiful 73-yard TD drive that looked like clockwork. K State then got the ball and did pretty much the exact same thing. 7-7 tie. And then, that was all she wrote for Arizona. K State dominated them after that.
  3. I finally read the entire article and, first of all, this guy writes like a second rate romance novelist wannabe. "Hey-Zues, Judas, & 30 pieces of silver" -- c'mon man. Running with this asinine metaphor a bit more, Oram is a second rate false prophet. We are talking about college football here... right. But, in this clown's world, OSU is the one, unblemished, righteous PAC school. The Sacrificial Beaver without sin. These Beaver clowns are a pathetic bunch on so many levels. Oram, and his kind, leeched off the PAC-12 for decades. They overtly participated in enabling Larry Scott and his sycophants, for their glory, wallets, and their righteousness... all while they slowly rode the SS PAC-12 down into its sad and tragic watery grave. And now they have chosen to hide from all mirrors, as they do not have the courage to truly look into one. Oram & Co continue to take the easy path of blame, and have reduced themselves to blaming everyone else for their part in their own demise. And, as Oram continues, he only makes it better by suggesting that, in addition to Hey-Zues, the Beavers are also the equivalent of the Godfather's Michael Corleone... the brother who was the dense, half-witted, imbecilic one. Finally, this is where Bill actually draws on a stellar metaphor.
  4. “Don’t tell me you’re innocent. Because it insults my intelligence and makes me very angry.”
  5. Ducks 31-20 2 TOs 2 Sacks 281 Passing Yards
  6. Good teams, even when they sometimes play like crapola, somehow find a way to win. That's about all I know.
  7. "The offensive line has allowed seven sacks through two games, two more than they did the entirety of each of the last two seasons." Yikes!
  8. I like your optimism and your excellent points. For me, though, this was far from a great game. It was a mess in many ways, intertwined with several moments of greatness. But, as you rightfully point out, this could very possibly turn into being a great win for OBD this season.
  9. 100%. Right now, I'm with you and Missouri... the "Show Me State." This team appears to have the right pieces, but it has a lot of work to accomplish in order to pull it all together. I think this is when we find out what kind of coaching staff we really have. Now, onto the River Rats!
  10. Unreservedly so, but we'll still be ranked in the Top-10. But in reality, I think we're about #20... with amazing potential.
  11. Okay... I like this, and I'm going with it! Good teams, that potentially could be great teams, somehow just find a way to win games they often have no business winning. I'm not saying that we had no business winning against 'the Idaho's,' but IMHO, we tried about as hard as possible to hand those games to them... and yet, we still won. OBD have a gift of 3+ more weeks of 'on-the-job-training' to try and right the ship and get their cheet together. Right now, that's my sliver of silver lining. And during this time, we're going to learn what kind of coaching staff we actually have.
  12. Agreed Annie... but I was so disappointed to hear the booing, even though I completely understand the frustration.
  13. I've been sitting here this morning trying to put this game together in my mind. But, as you point out, it was such a bizarre game on so many levels that I'm having a tough time knowing where to even start. And when combined with last week, I just can't ever remember seeing two games in a row like this. At this moment, however, I think I have resigned myself to just choosing to go to my happy place and telling myself that both BSU and Idaho are top 15 teams, even though I'm the only one who realizes it. Right now, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but I fear the River Rats.
  14. Hmmm... Personally, I think that if our special teams could produce two more game time TDs, I think we'd have a shot against Notre Dame. So, we've got that going for us.
  15. I just luv the glass-half-full outlook
  16. 14 BSU points off of 2 fumbles in about 3 minutes. That's just incredible.
  17. Exactly. The level of ridiculousness around here regarding the negativity toward DG is exceptional.
  18. Because we were backed up to the 11-yard line and our QB has almost no time.
  19. And 4 first half sacks on DG is just staggering.
  20. When DG isn't getting sacked 4 times... in the first half, he's able to do good things with the ball down field.
  21. If this is what our team is actually going to look like, I hate to say it it, but we will likely go 6-6. Right now, I can't believe I drank the kool-aid again.
  22. It is kind of hard for a QB to sometimes see open receivers when he is running for his life.
