So, after reading this article that hit the wire today at 3:04 AM PST, I'm wondering if right now -- 12:14 PM PST, if Riley still has a parking space at USC with his name on it? If this article is accurate and I'm the decision maker, for me, dropping him like a hot rock would be one of the easiest decisions I will have ever made.

Love Strawberry Canyon. Such a beautiful setting. But unfortunately, as you said, the stadium sucks. Plus, there's that little detail of the Hayward Fault Line literally running directly beneath the stadium.

Excellent article. For all the reasons that Breiler mentioned, Michigan has got to be extremely highly motivated to play us. And after winning the NC last year, there also must be a lot of pride on the line as well. Nevertheless, they're about to get their butt's kicked starting in less than 24 hours.

Interesting that so far, nearly half of us have Michigan scoring 13 points. Obviously, those of us who picked UM & 13 points are the geniuses among us. 😉

More than once, Dennis Dixon was like Houdini in that game. His slight of hand was jaw dropping, so much so that even NBC couldn't find the ball on multiple occasions.

Exactly. It's a 3.5 hour flight on a reasonably comfortable charter flight. It's not like they are traveling across country by wagon train. They will be eating very well and staying in very nice accommodations. And, they will likely be in Michigan slightly longer than 48 hours. Meaning, they are absolutely not going to attempt to adjust to the 3-hour time difference, because there is no need to. They can pretty much stay on their West Coast clock. I may be missing something, but done right, I don't see the travel as a big deal.

We had planned on going, but then some life-stuff happened instead. I will say that if you get a chance to go to the Wisconsin game, do it. I went with a couple of friends in 2000 when Joey was our QB and we had a great time. However, it was early September and the weather was amazing. Certainly, mid-November might be a very different story. But Wisconsin puts on a great game, the stadium is excellent, and their fans were a lot of fun.

I thought this was a pretty good article posted today on ESPN. I think it speaks volumes regarding our coaching staff and their ability to gel all of these new players in such a short period of time.
