  1. That, plus the minor little detail of which he appears to kind of suck at coaching college football.
  2. Lanning wouldn't touch that yester-year program with a 10ft pole. USC, located in lovely South Cental LA, is where coaches who pretend they know how to coach, go to die.
  3. And likely crabs as well.
  4. There was everything wrong with the Pac-12 management, and the university sycophants, that for decades propped up the crap management. I'm thankful & grateful that we got out on our life raft and into the B1G, but it is such a shame that the powers-that-be destroyed our beloved, and historic, Pac-12.
  5. USC, now 3-4, has lost four games by an average of 3.5 points per game. That must seriously suck big time for them. Perhaps the Weed Eater Bowl is in their future. USC - Welcome to the B1G, and into the true Lincoln Riley era.
  6. Looks like it will be Oregon, Georgia, Miami. Miami... 5-2 Miami, who nearly lost another one to Louisville.
  7. Nah... OSU would still be miserable. It's apparently in their DNA.
  8. 100%. To me, going for it on the 4th was frankly, a rather asinine decision.
  9. Nick Saban on the Lanning call: "Can't fault a coach for taking advantage of rules." Coach Saban tells it like it is... and he's a big Lanning fan.
  10. I'm gonna go with 'just win them all.' That's my plan and I'm sticking with it.
  11. From SI: "The Ducks' defense led the way, earning the first shutout since 2012, and the first road shutout since the 1992 season."
  12. Wow... UCLA is leading Rutgers 7-0 in the first quarter. Exciting times for Bruins fans!
  13. Well done, Autzen Magic. I can't believe anyone called 38-3, especially after Purdue put up 49 points against a Top-25 team the week before. But clearly you saw something to make that most excellent call. And Reggie Ogburn... that's a name I haven't heard in a while. He sure was a fun, exciting and talented option Duck QB.
  14. It would be fun if we get the chance to play OSU again... once OBD are really fine-tuned and we are playing peak ball.
  15. I keep forgetting about the playoff and how that changes everything. But I like the idea of over 12 games. Bottom line is that this defense is nails.
  16. And, upon further review, 2018 (231 pts / 14 games = 16.5). So this year's team defense is currently tied with 2023 & 2018 for average fewest points allowed per game over the past 50 years. Here's to hoping that they break the record.
  17. So far, through 7 games, Oregon’s amazing defense is giving up an average of 16.6 points per game. If I did my math right, over the last 50 years, no Duck defense has allowed so few points per game.
  18. As Charles said, I'm not sure that's gonna age very well. 😆
  19. Exactly. Seemed like they really didn't want to give him a TD.
