  1. Former Pac 12 teams are representing well in conference championships.
  2. I agree with this guy 100%. There is zero upside for Oregon playing this game, and only risk.
  3. They just don't like the fact that our 'Team Out West' has, so far, dominated their conference. But I'm confident that they will get used to it. And just wait until our men's basketball team really starts to gel.
  4. I didnt think it was possible but I think these 3 loss SEC teams are whining more than Mario & Miami.

  6. As my son said, teams like Wazzu and OSU are now in many ways, akin to a Triple-A farm club for programs like Oregon.
  7. That CBSsports.com story link above takes a shot at teams like Texas, Oregon, SMU who didn't play "everybody" Other than Georgia & OSU, how many teams have 2 wins over current Top-10 programs? And how many of those teams are undefeated.
  8. If a bunch of Our Beloved Ducks came running out of the tunnel at halftime welding sledgehammers against the Fuskies, then I might have been a tad bit concerned about the smashing of the helmet. The concept of metaphor seems to be lost on the Fuskies. They seem like a rather overly sensitive bunch. Perhaps this is what 6-6 does to some fan bases.
  9. Altman: "It's certainly nice to be 9-0, but we have a very long way to go to being a really good basketball team". Altman said it perfectly. The word for this team that comes to mind right now is "rough." They remind me a bit of a certain Oregon football team in the first quarter of this season... The talent is certainly there, but they're rather rough around the edges. But the upside potential is exceptional. If these guys can gell like our football team has, look out Martha, because they could be scary good.
  10. Maybe the Mountain West
  11. Next up in Eugene... UCLA Sunday @ 3:00 This will hopefully be a sell out.
  12. Exactly. When Bittle scores 5 points and fouls out, and we still win, that speaks to the depth this team has.
  13. Keeshawn Barthelemy off the bench 6 for 9, 4 for 5 from the 3, 2 boards, and 5 assists. Yikes!
  14. No a pretty win, but definitely a gutsy win. They just find ways to win. 9-0. A very-very impressive win.
  15. Let's see if Dana is able to get them to make a second half adjustment.
  16. No, definitely not a walk on, but he was offered by Oregon very late. And prior to that, his offers were quite limited... as in I think Montana. His junior year broken leg took him off most people's radar, plus the fact that he pretty much didn't attend the camps. Regardless, best of luck to Mr. Wiepert.
  17. Seems like we had another local QB who pretty much totally flew under the radar, and barely got offered by Oregon... Justin Herbert. Rumor has it that he turned out to be reasonably decent Best of luck to Mark Wiepert.
  18. After getting his lunch handed to him in the Pac 12 / B1G, the poor guy just wants to go to any other conference.
  19. Talk about adding salt to the wound. First, it appears that Miami is going to get deservedly bounced from the CFP. Then, OBD coaches go into Mario's beloved backyard and win a stud for That Team Out West. I don't think things could get any better. But I would love to see our men's hoopsters smack USC around tonight in LA at 7:30 PM on the B1G network.
  20. 30 years, or 52 years, we've never seen anything like this. It's just stunning. And as you mentioned, we're not even talking about our currently #1 2026 class yet.
  21. See the end of the thread with more coming later... ------------------------------------------------------------- The Oregon men are playing some exceptional ball these days. Hopefully, they will crush USC tomorrow night, 7:30 PM on the B1G Network.
