  1. Thats where Micah went too?
  2. Ducks have always improved late in the year or going into tourney. They will be a tough out this year if they stay healthy. They got some beef on that team.
  3. Riley is 1&3 in Bowl results after inheriting solid players. He lost to both OSU & Baylor this year too which should not have happened.
  4. I think Mario will do well and make them a powerhouse again.
  5. NCAA wont exist in a couple years or sooner.
  6. Oregon beefed up their D line but they were slow most of the year. It really showed up against Utah & Stanford. The SEC juggernauts are not only big but very quick. Last night really showed just how fast both teams were on the D side of the ball.
  7. Riley imo is overrated. Sure he's developed a few qb's but his bowl record is 1&3. Sooners have never won a football playoff game either. USC has way over paid for a gut that hasn't delivered.
  8. Nice take. The interest in college football on the west coast has slipped over the last number of years. IMO, its a combination of things, more options for things to do, other sports and general demographics, and dominance from other conferences. The trend will continue until the Pac 12 gets more competitive.
  9. He will probably follow his coach to USC.
  10. Being respectful, yet offering critical feedback on a coach or player that has left should be ok. As far as gloves off that will differ from poster to poster in terms of how brutal they want to be w/o crossing the line. Schools like Oregon will always be a junior training ground for coaches and players alike. Nothing wrong with that when it comes to amateur college sports. There is a reason why, there are buy outs in coaches contracts, its there for both parties.
  11. UO 38 OU 31 2 Tos 2 Sacks 227 Passing yards
  12. A win tomorrow would be huge. Not many times a team can say they beat OSU, USC & OK in the same year.
  13. We got owned by Iowas State last year and romped twice by Utah this year, we better show up and play well tomorrow.
  14. Anytime Oregon plays Oklahoma you should get amped. Don't forget regardless of how deep the teams are both will be on center stage and watched by most every recruit in the country. If one team gets embarrassed it could be detrimental for recruiting.
  15. I see Lanny and his young offensive coordinator being splashy with new twist on offense. Much like young guys do with modifying cars and pick up trucks nowadays.
  16. Starting qb wont be determined to fall camp. If the others are as good as advertised they have a good chance of winning the starting job. Bennett left because he was beat out by Marcus and Bennett was the vet.
  17. Even though there could be some past baggage with a new hire, it appears they have taken advantage of a 2nd chance opportunity, and made the best of it.
  18. Mario was a charmer in the homes of the recruits. I mean his persona was very magnetic in that parents knew their kids would be in good hands with a guy that seemed so in charge, organized and respectful. He made the recruit feel great because he went over well with mom & pop. Our knew young coaches will do well on the recruiting trail but they will need to come across composed, disciplined, and emit the kind of assurance that Mario was able too.
  19. Oregon is more than a forest. On TV it obstructs the game in the paint. How many Mallard Ducks do you see in a forest?
