That was a big series to enter halftime!

That drive was worth more than 7 points.  Signs of life and waking up a little I hope.  We start the second half with the ball.  Quite a hill to climb at this point though the way these teams are playing.  Ugh. 

Catch of the year so far from Ferguson!!!

Offense finally got in rhythm when they sped things up, Fuskie defense struggled to keep pace. I hope Stein keeps that up in the 2nd half.

And they threw the ball farther down the field than 5 yards. 

Man... I'm so glad KDB can't recruit and that he'll leave UW for another opportunity as soon as the right one opens that he wants. 

I don't understand doing the same sort of stuff repeatedly on offense. As soon as we changed up, we got a TD.

I'm sure I'm probably up in the night on this and it isn't a factor, but I wish we hadn't been favored by 9.5.  One team out there seems pissed off and one team seemed (for most of the half anyway) like they expected to cruise to a win.  

Bugger is calling us soft. Not a good look on prime time tv.

The D really needs an answer for UW's passing game, which admittedly, is a monumental task. Hope OBD come out on fire in the 2nd half.

Saw Birch/Burch on the field during a timeout, he was favoring his left knee...not sure if he will be able to go in the 2nd half.

The running game is missing. Washington's defense's game plan is well designed and being executed. Bucky is not up to his usual escape from the first contact. Noticed that last week also.

Muhammad has been grabby all season.

 

I really don't understand how two very experienced announcers (and one "rules expert") struggle to see a DB with both hands grabbing and holding the WR's jersey for several seconds 15 yards down field being called a penalty.

Great drive to end the half. We scored and left no time for Washington. Now we just need to score on the opening drive of the 2nd half. To go from down 20-3 to 20-17 before Penix can even get back on the field would be a huge momentum swing. 

I wish we'd run it more in the first half.  We have 25 yards rushing.  8 attempts.  Bucky has had some of his biggest games against Washington this year and last.  We just look one dimensional.  We need a more balanced attack in the second half.  But if something doesn't change with our pressure and/or secondary play on defense, it may not matter. 

This game is only half over. Oregon just had a great drive and score. Tez is lit up. Absolutely right call on that DB  PI/Holding of Troy. Good to see him back in the game. Bo knocked that UW defender back on the 2 yd line. TFerg just had the best catch of the season. That drive took some of the air out of Fusky.

 

The Ducks get the ball to start the second half. A TD and we've got a 3 pt game. Defensive adjustments need to be made but if OBD can get stops things can flip pretty fast. Toughest spot they've been in all year. Keep the faith.

Agreed ArkiDuck.  Then let's see Jordan James a little in the second half.  Zero carries in the first.

I think maybe they started to believe their own hype. Play the game, not the occasion!

The refs are actually calling it pretty well and letting them play.
